Rikku continued to meet Tamises's eyes, not backing down. He really didn't see why he was needed, having not paid much attention to the talk that went inbetween the three at the table. But if he was going to help he might as well be comfortable. The chesire cat slowly rose onto his paws, padding his way past Tamesis. He stopped in front of the Prince's face, sitting and looking at the information broker with a bored expression and a meow.
He wasn't go to stay a pet for anyone, especially not some strange monster that lived to take over people. But the prince and Tamesis were both going to owe him big time. Well, the prince wouldn't when he was set free. But Tamesis would leave him and his family alone if this went right. This was a one time thing, only so he didn't stay under a master. How Heart would laugh if she could see him at the moment. Captured, sold, and then bought by royalty.
The image from before flitted by his eyes, the small cat stare burning a hole into him. What, was he daydreaming or something? Rikku shook his head, whiskers following the movement. How was he supposed to save his source of freedom if he kept getting sucked into daydreams? He looked down at the prince's body, tensing as the eyes changed colors and his nails turned to claws. The prince had powers? Or was it just the monster?
Rikku looked back over at Tamesis, tail swaying back and forth, with an expression that clearly meant Ready to go yet?

Emile smiled. "Well then I need you both to lay down. I don't want you two falling down and hurting yourself when you fall asleep. It is also would help that you two are touching in someway. That way you can find each other right away. I do not need you to get lost while you are in there. Once you are in there I can not help you. You are on your own." She pulled out a book and flipped through the pages looking for the right spell that needed to be cast. "Remember look for the prince and nothing else. There are others there who will be more then willing to manipulate you as well. Oh and do not say the prince's name until you are sure that the person you are talking to is the prince."
Tamesis nodded and lay down. He turned off his sight and looked at Rikku. He then grabbed his tail. "I'm not holding your hand." He then looked at Emile who started the chant to send them into the realm that they needed to go to find the prince.

Rikku looked up at the woman, wondering if they would know if she cast a spell to do something else instead of saving the prince. Tamesis's men would know...right? Rikku shot the thought from his head so he wouldn't start to get nervous again. He shook his head again to make sure he wouldn't slip into another daydream of the strange cat he kept seeing. Later he would have to see Alice and tell her what had happened.
The teal cat shot Tamesis a glare and pulled his tail away. Instead he quickly got up and pounced, landing square on the man's chest. No way was his tail getting pulled by the male. He turned another short glare at him before curling up in a tight circle, trying to relax. He knew he was causing enough pressure on the information broker's chest to be uncomfortable to most and he prided him that in a small way he was getting back at Tamesis.
Rikku's body became heavy with sleep that came from almost nowhere. He yawned, body relaxing, before putting his head down. The teal cat's tail twitched slightly with one of his back paws as he fell asleep.
~x~
Only a moment later the cat awoke, though defiantly not in the same place. He looked around, not recognizing anything in sight. Where in Xisin was he? Rikku stood, meowing. A moment later he jumped slightly at feeling the ground beneath him move. But when he looked down, he remember that Tamesis was under him.
The cat put two paws on either of the man's cheeks, pushing down to wake him. No way was he being the only one awake here. And he wasn't just going to leave the information broker after agreeing to help. Well, as long as they were in some strange place he wasn't. Rikku meowed loudly, glaring at the male. Why was he helping again? Oh yeah, because he was stuck being a pet at the moment.
Rikku suddenly got an evil glint in his eye as he took away his paws, still standing on the man's chest. The chesire raised his left paw, claws coming out, and slashed at one of Tamesis's cheeks. That was sure to wake him up from the trance.

Tamesis closed his eyes and fell asleep. He really did not mind the Chesire sleeping on top of him. Elise closed the book and sat down. The spell had taken more energy then she thought it would have. She looked at his partner and shook her head. "No we will not kill the prince. That man will kill us if we did. I do not doubt that." They were going to wait until the three of them returned from that realm.
~~~
Tamesis lay there not wanting to get up. He would have continued to lay there until he felt something hit his check and then something heavy on him. He opened his eyes. However unlike before hi eyes were different. They were red and had slits. I looked at the cat no going for my cheek. "Get off of me." I wanted look around and see where we where and where to go. I knew that we did not go long that before we would meet up with someone that would try to hinder us. "We do not have much time before something shows up. After all this is a realm that tries to get people to sleep."
The chesire stopped his attack on Tamesis a moment before it happened, sneezing his displeasure. A moment later Rikku noticed the difference in the information broker's eyes and stared at him a moment. they were red and slitted almost like his in his half form. A moment later the chesire turned and hopped from the man's chest onto the ground. He was just here to save the prince and not care about the minor details. But still, why had his eyes changed?
The teal cat turned back towards Tamesis impatiently. Even if neither had them had ever been here, Rikku still had the feeling that the male would know more about this place then he did. After the male's last statements the chesire made sure both of his paws had their claws out and ready. There was no way he was getting attacked and becoming helpless like he had earlier that night.
Rikku stayed in his true form though, looking over at Tamesis so they could go find the prince. If they had to make the prince remember the chesire knew this form would be better, seeing as the prince hadn't seen his neko form at all. The chesire stamped his front paws against the ground in quick succession, telling the male to hurry up. He didn't like the feeling of this place for some odd reason and didn't feel like staying here any longer then necessary.
Tamesis got up but ignored the feline's actions to curry up. It was his first tie here when he was conscious. Normally he would just get a glance of this place as he made it to his dream. He still remembered he was here to rescue the prince but there was nothing wrong with wanting to learn as much about this place as possible. He pulled down his shirt and touched his cheek which was still bleeding. "Hey Rikku if you can turn back to that other form. I need you voice more then the prince needs you appearance. That is if you can. This realm tend to only allow you to remain in your true form, or so I heard. You are here to help me as I save the prince." He tied his hair back which had strangely grown longer as well. It still remained the same colours. He tied it in a bunch so it would not cover this place.
He then looked around. Behind them was a mansion which Tamises recognized the moment he saw it. It was his fathers home. He bit his lip forgetting that it was not really his old home. He sighed and then turned around to see Rikku. He then remembered it was not real. He looked around seeing that rest of the surrounding were the homes around where he lived. "Alright I know where we are. He are on the border line of my dreams. Which means that we have to find the exit first." I pulled out a blade and pushed it back hitting a person behind me. "Now that I killed my guide we can safely start to look for the exit without being pulled into the dream." I looked at Rikku wondering whether or not we could make it out of this dream.
The streets started to fill with life as if they were awake. The only difference was that the people did not have faces. The sky around then was grey yet the place was bright enough to see. The sky was not the only thing that was grey, apart from them and the blood coming out from the dead guide everything was grey. Tamesis said nothing as he started to make away from his home. He wanted to see what would happen once he left the borderline of his dream and entered the real part of this realm. He hoped he could see creatures like Elise and see if he could get their help. Well that was the plan unless they found a guide that would help them get to the prince.
~~~
I sat there looking out the window. He was going to come. He had to come. Tamesis always showed up when there was something interesting or he could make a profit off of selling information. I covered my ears as the noise at the door became louder. I could not listen to it. Master said they were bad. I kept looking out for any slight movement. He would not let me down. He could not. Rikku raised en eyebrow -- or would if he wasn't a cat at the moment -- and began to transform into his neko form. After a moment he opened his ice blue eyes, glaring at the close ground. "Looks like I'm..." the teal cat trailed off, eyes wide. His mouth was left open but he slowly closed it and looked up at Tamises. He could suddenly talk in this form. Now if only he had been able to talk earlier...
The cat shook its head, stamping one paw to keep himself focused. Now was when he had to actually think, unlike before when he and the prince had been so easily taken care of by two nobles. Or whatever they were, seeing as Tamises had threatened to tell the cat what they were. Rikku lifted his head, looking around with wide eyes. The chesire didn't have dreams went he fell asleep and wondered if it was always like this, knowing you were asleep and such.
The teal cat recoiled as the man struck a person behind him almost randomly. Ice blue eyes looked at Tamises like he was crazy until the man spoke and the cat looked blankly at the guide. It was plain strange if you asked Rikku. The nest thing he noticed was that they were in the city still. The chesire sighed in relief. That is, until he looked at one of the passerbyers and saw no face at all.
Rikku stared at the person for a moment, frozen with a shiver visibly going down his spine as his fur seemed to move with it. A moment later the cat darted after Tamises, who had begun to walk off. He slowed down as the cat got beside the male, fur slowly flattening again. Dreams were just plain strange. Now Rikku was kind of glad that the only dreams he got were daydreams which he could easily snap out of.
The chesire struggled to keep up with the male even as he walked quickly. After a moment he stopped in his tracks before climbing up Tamesis's back (careful to not cause any further bleeding) before sitting on the man's shoulder, looking around now that he could see over the faceless people. "Has anyone ever told you that you walk too quickly for a cat to follow?" Rikku said, tail swaying from side to side to help him keep balance on Tamises's shoulder."Also, do we have any idea where the prince is? Rikku asked, thinking about the few places he knew about in this city.

Tamesis glanced at Rikku but continued to walk at his pace. Even with the Chesire on his shoulder, his pace did not slow down. He had no intention to remain in his dream longer then needed. The only problem he was having was how to get out of it. He was not like the natives of this realm that could control were they stayed. And since it looked like Rikku had no guide for this realm there was no hope in using that guide. Not that it mattered. I had no idea where the prince was being kept. All he knew was that it was not in this part since this was where they landed. He pondered how to answer the question.
"I have no idea. I was hoping that you would have a guide that would help us. But it seems like you do not. Though I am sure we have to leave this place first. I am tired of looking at my dream and it trying to pull me in." Unlike Rikku the faceless humans did not bother me. That was how I viewed most people until they had a use for me, so I was not surprised that in my dreams they had no faces. We entered a crowd which seemed to be looking at something. As we got closer we could see that it was a public trail. The strange thing of it all was that the person on trail was himself. He saw himself there with his hands chained behind his back.
"Tamesis Gilderon, you are hereby changed with multiple counts of burglary, blackmail, and possession of illegal weaponry. To add onto the list you are also guilty of ___" I tried to hear what the last line was. It made no sense I never had dreams like this. I would never even be changed with such crimes. I was good at covering my tracks. It made no sense to me. I looked at me and then I dashed forward. Even if it was a dream there was no way I was going to let myself be found guilty of such crimes. I had completely forgotten that I was here to save the prince. I got up the to stage and looked at myself. "It's okay, you do not need to save me. A creature like me does not deserve to live if they can not even get away with such crimes."
I turned to the crowd and yelled. "How dare you put this man to trail. If you find him guilty then all of you are accessories to his actions since every single one of you watching at one point asked for his help. All he did was what was necessary for him to survive. That was they only way a noble with an unpure linage can survive in this realm."

Rikku kept on his new perch, looking around for a sign with anyone that resembled the prince and had a face. It creeped out the chesire out to no end as the people that passed would turn their faces towards them at random points, blankness staring at the pair. Or maybe something in the same direction. But either way, it was creeping the cat out. His claws were out though Rikku stopped himself from digging them into Tamesis, who seemed calm about it.
A guide? Rikku once again found that he couldn't raise his eyebrow annoying. The image from before flashed through the cat's mind and he looked around as they entered a crowd. People were watching the stage with intent interest, no one bothering to look at the strange pair anymore. Rikku was turning his head towards the stage as well as he heard a name. At first he thought they had seen the information broker and the chesire and were talking to them. But as the teal cat looked forward he saw Tamesis...only not.
Tamesis -- the real one that Rikku was perched on -- sprinted forward and the cat fell off, hitting the hard pavement on his side. He hadn't realized he had been falling until he was looking upwards, breath knocked from him. They always said that a cat falling from a short distance was worse then a very long one. He shook it off a moment later, not seriously hurt or really hurt at all. But when he stood he found himself stuck in a small circle of legs from the crowd, who watched as the cat heard one of the Tamesises speaking.
Rikku couldn't see the stage (or much of anything, really) past the crowd but he took off in the direction of the two information brokers, instinct telling him that tis was one of the reasons he was here. This was Tamesis's dream and he was being sucked into it. He got to the front of the crowd in moments, people looking down towards the crowd in search of whatever had brushed their legs and stepped on their feet.
"Tamesis! Snap out of it and let's go!" Rikku yelled, the crowd falling quiet and either staring at the chesire or the identical people on stage. The chesire took a running leap and landed on the front of the stage, ears twitching slightly. He panted slightly, claws drawn in case he had to scratch some sense into the man. Out of the corner of Rikku's eye went a flash of fur and then there was a small cat sitting by one of the steps you would use to climb the stage, unknown to the chesire at that moment.

Tamesis looked at Riku. "But," he started to say acting like a child that he never got to be. He really did not want to see this happen to him. How could one not get emotional when seeing one about to be annouced guilty and most likely sentenced to prison if not death. He really had accumlated anough crimes to be put to death. Not that he would admit it. Thoug he turned to his other self when he started to hear him speak. "You two need to go. I may only be a dream but I know you two are doing something mroe important. Come closer to me my otherself." Tamesis moved closer to his dream self. "Remember, our eyes show the truth to us even in a dream. Use them to survive even here."
Tamesis stepped back and nodded. He understood now why the other self had not fought back in his dream. He could see the truth for what it was and that he needed to remian caught to tell the real one about it. He tunred to Rikku. "Let's go before I get sucked in again." He activated his sight taking the advice of his otherself and saw the world in a new view. The faceless people were gone and so was much of teh scenery. The only ones that remained was Rikku, his dream self, and a cat. He blinked something had to be wrong with his sight. Rikku was in front of him and yet there was another cat sitting right where the steps were only moments ago for Tamesis.
"Hey Rikku, by any chance do you know who that cat is because it is not part of my dream." I said pointing the cat out. I could not help but feel a little bit suspicous about the cat. I did not know if it was someone's guide or a actual being of this realm. After all I knew that there were creatures that lived in this realm They just never entered a person's dream. I was sure we would meet them if we left my dream. However right now we had to get of of my dream to do such a thing.
~~~
I sat there looking outside the window. I could not stand the knocking anymore. I opened the window and jumped out. I really did not want to be there anymoer. I was scared. Really scared about being there. Something was wrong about that place. Even if master told me to stay I was not going to. I did not feel safe there unless master was there and he was not there at the moment. I was goin to find him. It could not be that hard.
