Dutchess watched the sunset, she knew when the sun set it would be dark and with the darkness comes the noises the sights and every thing else in the world that could hurt a horse, Dutchess saw something it looked like a pack of wolves, she saw them they were coming for her!,
she whinnied she ran as fast as she could the forest was thick it was hard to run, the wolves caught up Dutchess tried to run but couldn't the bit her clawed her she fought back finally they backed down she ran hurt limping, she had scars all over she limped she look for somewhere to go and hide, the sun was already riseing she glanced back making sure they didn't follow her,
Dutchess spotted a small stream she limped over to it and drank, she look around she was even more paranoid now, she glance around every few seconds she knew how dangous the thick woods could be she saw a mossy rock that was it, she felt her stomach growl, she went over to a very small patch of grass,
she nibbled on the grass it tasted fresh and it was tender after it was gone so was she, she look around carefully she galloped to a river and lied down...

Elric made his way through the woods wondering how long it would take to get out. He had entered only yesterday to hide. His master had given him a troublesome task, but he had completed. He was sure that they would not think of looking for him here and even if they did they would be at a disadvantage. His fire had tonnes of fuel here. Even if he could not hurt the humans, he could scare them so that they would run away. Luck was on his side since they had not entered the forest in pursuit. Just in case he had hidden in the trees and had waited until night fall to get out. It seemed like a good idea when the sun was still out, but now he was regretting it.
Elric had forgotten something important. He needed to eat to survive and he had not brought any food with him into the forest. He had not dared to go hunting and he was not good at forging berries and other fruits. His stomach growled and he continued to move forward. He was going to at least find some water before continuing his journey back to Daika. That would be much easier then hunting with no sort of hunting equipment. He slowly walked forward until he found the faint sound of running water. Without a second thought he increased his speed and made his way to the noise.
It was not until he saw the stream that he thought to see if there was anyone else there. He stopped and made his way up a tree and examined the area. Since the sun was rising he could see that there was a horse there. He noticed that it was injured and smiled. He did not like eating horse, but it was better than starving oneself. He made his way through the trees moving as close to the horse as possible without revealing himself. When he was as close as he could to the horse, he jumped out of the trees and towards the horse. He had a dagger in hand and was using his speed to get as close as possible before the horse reacted. He swung his knife at the horse hoping to cut it before got away from him.

Dutchess Reared she fell back, she started to cry and she was changing into human form she didn't know that yet though, her long black hair was silky, she set against a tree, tears rolling down her face, she looks up she see the dagger drop the boy stood there, she sat there and cried not knowing what to do, she cried, she was afraid
she was scared, she was going to be killed she thought, she cried more tears she didn't want to die, she shook a lot she was cold, she look for a place she could escape but there were none...
