i don't need you cuz I'm awesomeI nodded to the prince, looking at the fire lizard with interest. I had to fight with my parents over my horse alone. Lucky blue blood. I turned away and continued until we shortly reached the locked pasture of the kingdom's horses. A guard dog looked at me, wagging his tail, before turning and glaring towards Yasu and his pet. I calmly made my way towards the large brown dog, petting his head and leaning in to whisper that the prince was safe and no, barking wasn't good right now. The dog glared at Yasu for a few more seconds, looking as if he wasn't going to listen due to the snarling, but then shot a look to me and sat back down before even laying. I petted him once more before standing up and climbing over the fence easily. It only came up to my chest and I looked over at the Prince when I jumped off the fence. "Stay here I'll be back in a second. If the dog gives you any trouble just ignore him. He's a big softie, whether he acts like it or not. And get away from the fence. I'm going to jump it with Levi and I really don't think I could explain what happened if they found you out here dead tomorrow morning." I said before giving Yasunari a smile and turning towards the pasture. I walked for a minute or two until I spotted the multicolored horse of mine. I had gotten him from a shop that was going to sell him to a butcher and had fought with my parents to keep the guy. He was apart from the other horses like usual and perked up the second he noticed me. Levi trotted over, putting his nose in my face. I was used to riding bareback at this point and used my shadows to boost myself onto the horse's back. I wrapped my arms around Levi's neck as he took off towards fence by instinct. In only a handful of moments the horse launched himself up and over the fence, landing a bit close to the current guard dog. I looked over at the prince, giving him a daring smile. "I hope you've ridden bareback before." I teased before straightening up and leading Levi over to the prince, expecting him to make his own way up. I petted the horse's neck to make him stay still before looking at Yasu expectingly.

I backed away from the fence. I really had no desire to die in the stables. It was not a death suited for a nobles as young as me. Having nothing to do as the princess left I looked at the dog. The only other thing to keep me company while I waited. I knelt down and waved at him. I had no intention of harming the dog. After all Reno had said that he was a softie at heart. However the growl that came out of his mouth made me think other wise. I could not help but ponder why the dog did not like me so. I had done nothing to harm it and I wan not trying to harm the horses. I was about to move closer to the dog when I heard the princess approach and saw her jump the fence.
I got up and clapped at the horse seeing to make the jump. "I've ridden other thing bareback before, but not a horse. It should not be that much harder." Though it could not be much harder then ringing a dragon with no saddle. Of course that was an one time event and would not happen again. I got into the horse behind the princess. It felt strange doing so. Normally I would be the one in front and the girl would be holding on behind me. Well there was not much I could do about this situation. This was not my horse and I doubted that it would listen to me if I did try to take control. I leaned forward and whispered in her ear. "Shall we head out?" Oh how I wanted to add princess to the end of that sentence, but I held my self back. I did not want to get thrown off. (Just so you know this happend before the Captured thread. hehehe. You shall see why as the plot progresses)

i don't need you cuz I'm awesomeI smiled as Yasu climbed on behind me. From what I could guess he wasn't used to riding behind a female, but in front of them. Still, he kept quiet as he settled in, which I was glad. If he had asked for the front then Levi would not move at all. Only a few stable hands besides me could make Levi move without angering him. "Might want to hold on." I said, smiling. I carefully turned the horse towards the nearest city, Obscur. It wasn't that far off but walking wasn't an option and with my...riding style it wouldn't be that long until we were there. "If we're not back by the first sunlight, make it look like Levi ran away. I'll be sure to get you some of the cook's food every night." I shot over my shoulder at the guard dog, who's tongue lolled out at the thought of human's food instead of his dog's. I also shot a look at Yasu, glint in my eye before facing forward. Unknown to most nobles who hadn't seen me actually ride, outside of events of course, I liked to go fast. And by fast, I meant fast. "I hope your fire lizard is fast." as all I said as I kicked Levi, who in turn took off. The wind whizzed by but because of experience I could kept my eyes open. My hat stayed in place, due to the tight band. And even if it fell off I could get it with my shadows without slowing down. Then again, I didn't feel like anyone but my sister really knowing the extent of my powers. And even Riatha didn't know everything I could do. Even I probably didn't know everything I could do. But even though Yasu was like me I wasn't going to tell him anything I didn't have to. I didn't trust him, simple as that. If the prince said anything I couldn't hear it over the rush of the wind.
((Should we just skip the ride? XD I don't really care either way.)) that's

I pondered where I was suppose to hold on. It was not like I was another female. There were rules where a man could hold without it being inappropriate. I turned to my fire lizard quickly before making my decision. "City," I told her as she flew off towards the city. We would meet up again in the city and I was sure she would handle herself. Instead I looked forward. I went for the waist hoping it was the right choice. I had no time to wonder as we set off at a fast speed. I held on without much difficulty. Even If I fell off and got some injuries my ability would keep anything bad hidden from the view of others. I held on silently not seeing any point in saying anything. I doubted the princess would hear what I was saying. It would just be a waste of breath
As we arrived at the city I jumped off and my fire lizard landed on my shoulder. She rubbed her head against me and then flew off again. She was going off to find something to eat. I was not going to stop her. She had done her job for today. Instead I turned to the princess. "Thank you for the ride." I then started to walk away hoping that the princess had forgotten that she wanted to follow me. I really did not want her to go where I was going. It was not something I wanted her to see. Hopefully she would not follow me. I pulled out the note and looked at the image of the sign they had given me. There had to be some clue on where I was to go. It was not like I had all night to do this. I had a couple hours before my opportunity was gone.

i don't need you cuz I'm awesomeI ignored the urge to take off my hat and let my hair fly free as Loki sped on. Instead I held onto the reins, wondering if the prince had already fallen off until I felt arms around my waist. I smiled from restraining a laugh as I thought about how strange it was. Sure, when I gave rides to other girls they often held on, scared of falling off, around my waist. But the boys who needed a ride often held onto nothing, as far as I could tell. Well, they somehow didn't fall off. When the city finally pulled into view I had the horse slow down until we were at one of the side entrances, Yasu jumping from the horse. I didn't stop him, only becoming surprised when he landed on his feet. I only raised my eyebrow as he thanked me before beginning to walk off. I decided not to say anything in response, simply trotting Loki next to him and then slowing the horse to the prince's pace. I repressed the words along the lines of 'your gonna get lost' and easily walked the horse next to the male, people on the street giving the horse a wide birth like the other few horses on the street. I leaned towards the prince as he took out a picture of something but I couldn't see that well. I continued to moved in closer before almost losing my balance and straightening back on my horse. "You know, this would be much faster if you would just show me whatever you need to find. I said, yawning lightly. I wasn't tired, only bored seeing as I couldn't just leave Yasu in the totally forgein city. Knowing my luck he would run into one of the darker parts at this time of night. I looked down at my arms, thick leather bands on the top of my wrists while on the underside two daggers laid there, carefully strapped in. I also had another pair strapped to my lower legs and I just had a feeling that this night wouldn't go well. Or maybe that was just my headache from the ball. that's

I sighed as Reno said that. She was right thing would go fast if I just gave her the image, but I really did nto want to drag her into the business I was involved in. No it was too dangerous and yet without her help it would take me hours to find the place that I was looking for. So I gave in. I would let her show me the way and noting more. She did not have to go in with me and meet the people I was planning to meet. We would part ways at the door and if she had a problem with that then she could blame herself for being so secertive about her powers. Two could play this game. i was going to leave her guessing about the dead that I was going to do tonight.
I handed her the note with im amgae of the bar's logo. For that I had figured out. I had sent my fire lizard out earlier to look at the signs of every inn in the city and she had not found any that bore that mark. Therefore it had to be a bar that the simple represented. So a bar I would visit. Unbeknowest to me the bar was located in a darker part of town likw the princess feared I would enter. It was purposly placed there so no one would question the dealings that would go on in taht place. And that location was where the prince had been directed to go. Even if I was told it was a dangerous place I would still go because I knew about the place and what went on there. I was sure that I would be safe once I got there. The only problem that arouse was gettin me there safely.
I looked at the princess waiting for a reply. Did she know the location of the bar that held that image as their logo or was I still in the dark. If i was in the dark I would no longer need her help and I would be on my merry way without her.

i don't need you cuz I'm awesomeI smiled triumphantly as I took the photo from Yasu. I looked at it for a moment before my smile froze in place, falling a moment. I looked over at the prince for a moment before my gaze fell back on the image. Oh hell no. I sighed before giving the photo back to the prince. "Due to our fabulous luck, we're heading for one of shady spots. Before I take you there, tell me why we're going into a gang's territory. That way if we end up thrown in a ditch, I'll at least have a reason for it." I said, half joking. The bar in question was right in the area populated by the Circo DemonĂaca, the strange circus full of even stranger people. But they weren't the gang in question. No, there was a large gang in that area, some people in the circus being in the gang, that often was held responsible for both petty and serious crimes. I looked over at the prince again, chewing my bottom lip in deep thought as Loki calmly trotted his way down the road, keeping pace with the walking male. I barely knew anything about this group, especially since my parents never brought them up. The only way I had learned of them was overhearing a few conversations in the market. I leaned backwards slightly, lip still being abused. The only things I really knew about them was that it was co-ed and you did not want to get in their way. I sat up straight a moment later, reaching up to brush away my bangs before realizing they were tucked away safely in under my hat. My lips suddenly turned up with a smirk as I slowly turned my attention towards Yasu, dark glint in my eyes. "Hey Yasu...do you have any way to turn into a girl?" I asked, amused by an idea that I had thought up. It could be a back up plan at best, seeing as I was guessing that the prince had some way he was going to do what he had to do without being beaten up and mugged. Sure, being female wouldn't help that much. But it would go from being beaten senseless to being ogled by guys and only threatened by the girls. I continued to smirk, thinking further into this. I had enough gold on me to buy some female clothes, which weren't had to come by in such a busy city even at this point of the night. My smirk widened as I thought of something else, which was sure to give my sister and parents heart attacks. Along with all other people who might see it. "That is, unless you have some other brilliant plan to not get us killed while we do gods' know what." that's

I looked at her not getting what she meant. The man who had given me this picture told me I was going to be safe as long as followed his instructions. Now normally I would not listen to another's instructions but this person that had lead me here was none other then Tamesis Gilderon. There was no way he was going to put me in any danger. It would not be productive and profitable. If I anything happened to me before my return home he was not going to be paid. That was the arrangement that we had come up with. Yet the princess, who I was still having trouble calling Reno in my head, just informed me that this was a shady area. Though I had suspected at least that much. Tamesis did like being on the good side of the darker side of the law. It provided him the extra protection he needed. "Why I am going there is a secret like your powers. I will only share when you become willing to share with me."
I continued to walk but paused when she asked if I could turn into a woman. Why would she want to know that. I stopped and turn to her. THis somehow did not should good. "As long as I remain awake I can maintain a female form. It takes more energy and focus then changing basic features." I did not wish to mention I had done it once to see what a certain female thought about me. It was the first girl I had ever like and well what I learned I soon regretted my feelings. It was due to her that I learned the truth about what nobles really thought about being married to me. "Though I do not see how changing to a female would help. If it is as dangerous as you say won't I risk getting raped if I look like a female?" I then started to walk again not wanting to think about changing into a female. It was not that I was against it just felt strange to be one.

i don't need you cuz I'm awesomeI gave Yasu a displeased face as he told me it was a secret, grimacing when he brought up my powers. Why did he want to know anyway? I shot a look up at the sky, granted my dead grandmother was either up there or below Loki's hooves, quickly turning back to the prince before he could question the action. I didn't say anything in response, giving him a slight glare to tell him I wasn't going to tell him about my powers. The only way he was learning anything was if I had to use my shadows again, which I greatly doubted. Commoners didn't know that their eldest princess had powers but it would still attract more attention then I wanted. I stopped Loki a few moments after the prince stopped, looking back at him. I rolled my eyes at his last statement and got off Loki, walking inbetween both males. My horse automatically followed, probably looking forward to when I put him into a temporary stable. Loki stayed away from other horses at the castle, not liking the war horses or even the normal ones. I patted his side, keeping my hand on him. "Alright, alright, you stay your natural gender then. But I'd rather be raped then killed. I'm going to put Loki in a stable and then I'm changing back to my natural gender." I said, walking faster then Yasu so I could lead. I didn't look back to see if he was following, knowing he would probably come seeing as I knew where we were going anyway. "And maybe I'll let something about my powers slip if you tell me why we're going." I shot over my shoulder before turning forward. It wasn't far, a few minutes, when I found a suitable place to keep Loki. I motioned for the horse to follow the stable hand that sat out front before I handed over a some money and told him I should be back before the morning. When he nodded and turned to take Loki inside, I also turned away to the prince, another glint in my eyes. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him into nearby shop. We were already in the shady part of town and the store clearly showed it. It was a clothing and weapons shop and the heavily scarred man at the counter gave a tattooed girl a glance when I had pulled the prince in. Neither said anything as I released the prince, instead turning back into a conversation they must have been having before we came in. "At least make yourself tougher-looking." I said, sticking my tongue out slightly before turning on my heel and looking through the female clothes. that's

I looked at the princess as she left her horse at a stable. So we would be walking the rest of the way. A reasonable choice if we were going to a place that was as dangerous as she said it was. However I was not happy when I was dragged into a store before we could finish our conversation. I really did not want to talk about our plans directly in front of people. Though I guessed it was not much better then doing it on the streets. I looked at her. Did she really think I was planning to stay as a male after been told I could get killed. I was not going to take that risk. "I never said I would not do it. I was just pointing it out. However I'm not that good I picking out the right attire for this kind of change." I looked through the dresses not knowing which would fit me.
I paused and looked at Reno. "You won't tell me anything out them. You just want me to talk. That tactic will not work with me. I'm friends with a professional information broker I know when people are trying to gain information from me." I then returned back to looking. "If you want ot know about why I am going there you will have to talk first."

i don't need you cuz I'm awesomeI smirked as Yasu, more or less, agreed to being a female as well. I picked up a skirt, looking at it for a moment before dropping it back where I had found it. My smirk grew larger as he started looking through the dresses. I came over and looked as well, wondering if the couple at the counter was used to males coming it and looking at dresses. Knowing this side of town though, I wouldn't be surprised if we ran into a few drag queens. The couple seemed to be totally ignoring us at this point, absorbed into their conversation. I also turned to ignore them at this point, only needed to speak with them when the pair were paying. "I can't really help you since I don't know what you like as a girl. If you have too much trouble then pick something black. Everything goes with it." I advised, going over to another part of the store and picking up something random. I went over to the back section that had a solo curtain thrown over a pole, making a changing area for anyone. I carefully undressed, leaving my bandages in place for fear someone was either watching or Yasu would barge in. I took off my hat last, long hair falling from its nest. I looked around again, unsheathing a dagger from one of my wrists. I grabbed my hair, pulling it tightly with one hand as I put my dagger's blade under it. I smiled, knowing that my mother would have a heart attack. I was going to get out of the castle soon enough, whether they wanted it or not. With only a bit of power I cut through the strands, the hair disappearing into shadows as it was cut. A moment later my hair cut choppily between my ears and my neck, pure white. I knew the color wouldn't last and I was proved right as shadows crept up and my hair went back to its original white to gray to black colors. I shook my hand free of strands I had cut off, which burned into black shadows before disappearing. I quickly got dressed in a oversized black shirt that went off one shoulder and only fell right above my bellybutton. I also put on a hot pink and black skirt that had a bunch of studded belts attached that were paired with ripped black stockings and black boots. I lastly put on a pink collar and a few studded bracelets and did a little turn in the mirror despite myself. Yes, I wasn't recognizable at all, even with my hair. I picked up my other clothes, keeping my money with me, and folded them before a shadow appeared. It took the clothes and folded in on itself before melting into the floor, moving into the parts of the floor where it wouldn't be seen. I already knew it would deliver my male clothes into my room. I checked myself again, glad I had kept my bandages on. I flicked my new haircut, feeling the cold air against the back of my neck a strange feeling. Being royalty, short hair for girls was over with short skirts, meaning it was frowned upon. "Hurry up back here so I can help you." I said loud enough for the prince to hear me. that's

I sighed as I continued to look through the dresses. I wondering if she Understood that I could look like anything I wanted to look like. I would just change what was wrong. I could not help but wonder if there was some shapeshifter blood running through my veins or if this ability was just a random occurrence. Though I was pretty sire shifters could do more it was not common for a human to be able to do what I did. Apart from shifters I never really met anyone who could change their form like me. Well apart from using magic spells, but this was no magic spell. I shook my head and continued to look through. I picked out two dresses not knowing which one would be better. Unlike the princess I preferred a one piece outfit in case something went wrong with my ability. I walked to the back to join her.
"I can change myself. Don't think of me like a helpless fool. I will call you if I need help." I stopped when I saw her hair. "You could have asked me to cut it. I would have done a better job. It's completely uneven." I said as I passed by her and pushed her out. I hung the two dresses up and changed into the first. Luckily the sizes were just right. As I finished putting on the first dress I started to change my features into a more appropriate look for this dress. I make my hear longer as well. I came out and looed at the princess. "This is the first dress," I said my voice slightly more feminine. I twirled once to show her. Before waiting her reply I returned back the changeing area and put on the second dress with a fast speed. I changed slightly again to suit this dress just to make a point to the princess. I came out. "It looked like I did not need help and this is the second dress." I twirled again showing it off.
When I was done I looked at her. "Which one do you think is better. I prefer the first one but you are much better at these things then I am."
