Ghost's eyes began to drift closed, and his body began to sink toward the ground. His head jerked up as he felt the rope tighten, and he stood rigidly, moving from side to side in fear before he realized where he was. He snorted, his nostrils flaring as he looked at his surroundings. Surely they would return soon. They couldn't leave him like this for long.
His eyes began to drift closed again, His body shaking both from fear of what would come next, and from the cool breeze blowing on his sweaty and bloody pelt. He didn't even bother opening them when he heard small hooves nearby, he had no reason to hope that anyone would bother to help him.
"At least she got away.." He whispered softly to himself, and opened his eyes to find her there, moving toward him. "Sagina?" he whispered, both hopeful and shocked that she would even think to return for him." I must be seeing things.." he told himself, and shifted again nervously. He pulled back on the rope as hard as he could, in one last attempt to pull himself free of his restraints. A small creaking sound could be heard as the rope pulled tighter on the wood, but that was all.

Sagina~
Please Can You Tell Me, So I Can Finally See, Where You Go When You're Gone?
Sagina wasn't completely shocked at Ghosts current state, but she wasn't pleased by how the humans were treating him. She walked with a nervous gait, but was surprisingly quiet against the cobble stones. There was nothing more than the smallest click against the street, and she couldn't help but feel a little ninja-like. She stopped and raised her head, pricking her ears as a door slammed shut nearby. The footsteps seemed to echo in the opposite direction, however, so it didn't cause her much worry. Flicking her small, fluffy tail, the filly once again began to move towards the stallion. She wasn't so skittish towards him now, as she had seen that he truly wasn't a threat. He had helped her escape, afterall.
"Of course it's me, who else would have come for you?" she said, though little emotion played across on her face. Was it so hard to believe that she would return to repay the favor? She came closer so that she stood just on the otherside of the fence, and gave him a sympathetic look. "You may be injured, but you're not hurt enough to be hallucinating you know." she added, reaching out with her neck. She nibbled softly on his muzzle in a show of affection, trying to cheer up someone who had every right to be depressed. "We're gonna walk out of here just fine" she muttered, though it was more for herself than him.
Lowering her small frame to the ground, she wiggled under the fence and into the pen with him. She didn't get up, but instead went on to chew at one of the ropes around his legs. It was no doubt something she would prefer to never do again, as the splintered rope was hard on her tongue and mouth. But, with hope, if she could get at least one of the ropes off he'd be able to break through the other one. This was turning out to be something very hard to do, however, simply because the rope was thick and her teeth so small and jaw so weak....She felt like a beaver trying to chew through the trunk of a tree.

Looking down as much as the rope allowed, he nickered softly as the filly slid under the fence, and began to chew his ropes. "I.. I just didn't expect you to return for me." He whispered, trying to nudge her gently. The rope prevented him from moving though, and he snorted. He felt the rope on his leg loosen, and pulled back, being careful to avoid striking the small filly helping him. The rope loosened more, and with a final tug, It fell away, leaving only his head tied down.
"Thank you." Ghost nickered to her, clearly touched that she had really come back for him, and had every intention of helping him escape this place. He heard a door close nearby, and footsteps heading in their direction. "Give me some room." He whispered, tossing his head. With one rope gone, he hoped he would be able to get his hooves high enough to strike the post, and free himself. The sound of men shouting reached his sensitive ears as men headed their way, clearly they must have noticed he was no longer as restrained as they expected. The panic was clearly visible in his large, dark eyes as he reared, striking at the post with what was left of his strength.
for the second time that night, he yelled for the young filly to run. Even as he yelled, he heard the wood begin to snap under his flailing hooves, and pulled back with all his strength.
