~*Maria Taz Ishigami*~
Clouds may come,
But clouds must go,
And they all have a silver lining.
For behind each cloud you know,
The sun, or moon,
Is shining.
Clouds may come,
But clouds must go,
And they all have a silver lining.
For behind each cloud you know,
The sun, or moon,
Is shining.
Maybe it was her curiosity that had lead her off the beaten path -- but that was doubtful Her feet had the uncanny ability to wander on their own recently, a fact Taz didn't seem to have a problem with. Xisin was a place well known to her. People all over the country had seen her face at one point or another, even though she was hardly rememberable. While her soft features were delicately beautiful (a fact she always liked to deny), Taz was just another face in a sea of strangers. Requiem, on the otherhand, was more than striking in features and a sight a person could still recall a year later. No one would be able to guess that the two were related, but that was fine by Taz. The woods she now tread were alarmingly quiet, and the lack of sound had set the girl on edge. Even as she walked her eyes scanned for disturbed undergrowth that would mark a pit or snare. The problem lay with the very spring-like shower that streamed beneath the tree leavves. Head down and with hands shoved deep in her pockets, the rain began to pick up and she quickly lost any fear of being injured by a hunters trap. Her clothes had taken on a dark gray color, and while she had no problem with being wet, her jeans were becoming more than uncomfortable. She figured she should take shelter, but could hardly bring herself to do so. The smothering depression she had developed kept her from any sort of proactive activity. Ever since Requiem's latest stab at her life she had been in emotional turmoul -- as was common. She had managed to smile in town when a young boy had asked her for some money (which she handed over without a thought), but felt sick shortly after. But hey, if it kept people from asking 'what's wrong' then she would continue her little act. The bandages -- wrapped securely around her waist -- now offered little help for the bleeding. The wound had started bleeding again when she pushed a branch out of the way and her fingers slipped. Pain had shot through her middle and the injury had opened again. With luck, it would stop without any intervention -- intervention that Taz wasn't willing to give. Luck did seem to be on her side that evening, as she happened to find a little cave in a large out cropping of rock. Sighing, she took cover inside. Sitting up against the wall of the cave, she brought her knees to her chest. Staring at the other wall for a second, she settled her head down on her folded arms -- too tired to do anything but sleep.
Ooc: Sorry for the crappiness dear O.o
