“Nee! Are you sure this is him?” The words were quiet, harsh, demanding and floated on a hushed whisper. Heterochromatic eyes were trained on a figure in the distance.
“Has Nee ever been wrong before?
” replied the exact same voice from an identical but different body. The girl clad in pink didn’t answer the one in black. Instead, her eyes remained focused on their target. Snow blanketed the world. At least that’s what it appeared to look like from the twins’ perch in a tree. They had to remain up high or else they could be spotted. Neither of them had jackets made of white. Only pink and black which stuck out all too easily easily. “ Nee, I don’t think that’s him!” The pink one whined, tugging on her sister’s oversized sleeve. “ He doesn’t look like a wolf and he doesn’t smell like a wolf, either!” “ We don’t look like wolves either, Naa! Not right now! And he doesn’t smell like one because we’re in a pine tree! The only thing Naa can smell is forest.” The twin clad in black nodded wisely. It all made perfect sense to her. “ Nee has been stalking him for a while now! He’s one of us, Naa! He’s a brother!” This made the pink twin giggle and wriggle on her branch. It had been a while since the twins have managed to find someone like them. “ Let’s go play!” The one called Naa didn’t even wait to see if her twin agreed; she was off. Hoping down from her branch and running over to the one they had been stalking. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

>Human< Not bright...not at all. Why he refused himself the shift into his wolf form, he didn't know. The cold was miserable... Not as bad as it could be, but it would be much better if he was in his wolf form. His coat only offered a small amount of protection. It was more for looks than anything. Meant to hide his identity from those that crossed him. Wounds that he couldn't show. Marks that clearly identified him as the wolf he really was.
There were several reasons why he couldn't switch. One in particular that irked him more than the others. He was being followed. While his senses were dull as a human, there was one he still had. That pricking at the back of the of his neck, that alert state that either warned him of danger, or of someone watching him. He had something very similar in his wolf form, his fur standing on end on the back of his neck.
The question was no longer if someone was following him, but who. He had been unable to see them before, but he also didn't want to alert them that he knew they were there, so he had continued on his path, glancing behind ever so slightly to see if he could get a glimpse of his pursuers.
When at last, his feet crunching on the snow below, he heard the noise behind him of fast approaching feet, he turned on the spot, eyes going from normal, to slightly wide, to a suspcious slant. Kids. Twins by the look of them. These didn't seem quite right either. Even from this distance he could tell something was a little off from their footsteps. Something that just wasn't quite human.
For the time being, however, he had to pretend they were normal kids. Let the scene play itself out. He couldn't reveal himself to be a wolf, he knew. Because if these kids told others... His cover would be blown.. He could no longer go around as a human any more... He would be easily pointed out and hunted down. No...best to see what they wanted first.
He watched the pink object approach him, watching passively, but still mildly suspcious. "Yes?"

Snow crunched under the pink boots of Naomi. An enthusiastic smile painted her face and her arms were pushed back slightly from the sheer velocity of her approach. A second set of footsteps echoed in the frosty air but the other twin could not be seen, hidden perfectly behind her younger sister but moving at the same hurried pace. They didn't dare slow and just as it looked like the pink twin was ready to run into their target, she dived towards the ground. The black twin threw herself over the pink one, hoping to fly right into the man before them in a well executed tackle. Even if she missed, she wouldn't care. She was more worried about the second body that would also be flying in the same direction.
When the pink twin had dived to the ground, she rolled smoothly to break the landing. However, the second her pink boots connected with the ground, she sprang back into the air. They had planned this out perfectly. If Neoma, the black twin, were to have successfully tackled the man, Naomi would have been the planned overkill to send him into the ground. However, if Neoma missed... Someone might get hurt.

>Human< When Shadow realized the objects were still coming toward him, it was far too late. He wasn't used to two hyper werewolves. He didn't realize that they were going to both try to tackle him, nor could he guess it.
By the time he finally figured it out, Neoma was already in the air. He moved his hands up and caught hold of the girl as she hit him. He took a step back, her speed alone taking the air out his lungs and causing that one step.
What he really wasn't ready for was the second girl; Naomi. She shot forward from her dive and roll a moment later, colliding with him almost instantly after the other girl. He was already off balance, and with their combined weight and the surprise at which they caught him in, he was knocked clean off his feet. He hit the packed snow hard, what little air he still had in his lungs forced out by the collision, his back hurting and his ribs hurting from the two girls.
He would have cursed at the pain, but he had to take that moment to take a breath. He didn't have any air to curse with. "..What...what the hell?"

Their giggles rang out as they felt him fall back and landed atop him. Neoma landed safely, straddling his chest and Naomi was at his waist. They didn't care about the effects their little barrage had on him; they were just content with the fact that their plan had actually worked. They had successfully pinned their target to the ground and, as far as they were concerned, there was no way they were going to let him back up until they grew bored.
Naomi's head popped up over Neoma's shoulder, twin pairs of heterochromatic eyes boring down into the man below them. Neoma's hands pinned his shoulders down, Naomi's legs hooked over his own. "Nee! We got him!
" " Nee knows, Naa! It worked! It worked!" More giggled bubbled up from the two, identical smiles curling the corners of their lips. " I'm Neoma! And she's-" " Naomi!" The pink one piped up at the right timing. " It's a pleasure to meet you, brother!" the twins spoke in perfect unison without missing a beat or messing up a single word - as if they had practiced the line before. " We've been watching!" >Human< Shadow wasn't even quite sure what was happening was even real. He had two sisters completing each others sentences, pinning him down and calling him brother. Sounded like a pretty elaborate delusion...but that was the best conclusion he could come up with. This situation was just too strange.
And the they said they had been watching him? Well...that explained the feeling earlier. "Look, get off and we'll talk about being brother and sister, okay?" He growled back.
Shadow wished he could move. He'd change to wolf and teach these two a lesson. It was doubtful they'd even remember the beating to report back to someone that he was a wolf. And who would believe these two anyway?
He tested the strength of each twin, moving his legs and arms ever so slightly. Impossible. They were too strong. Only way kids of this age could be this much stronger than him was if they were the same as him. The breeze confirmed his suspicion. Now that he knew what to look for in the scent, he found it easily; wolf.
This just wasn't his day.
"Alright. Wolves. You got me. Off please."

Their smiles just widened as he tried to move beneath them. It was of no use. The twins looked dainty but they could easily hold their own and they proved that effortlessly. He remained pinned below them, unable to move so much as an inch. "Pathetic," another synchronized bark. Surely someone like him could move two measly little girls? Didn't look like it.
"I think Nee has the wrong one! He's not that strong!" Naomi giggled behind her twin, a teasing tone lacing her voice.
"Noo! He called us wolves! He's a brother~!
" Neoma retorted, tilting her head to speak with Naomi but refusing to remove her gaze from the face of the wolf below them. Both their heads snapped in his direction at his order. Two hands simultaneously hit him. Neoma's against his chest and Naomi's against his side. " Nyea! We won't get off if you can't make us!" " We're comfortable!" " Right here!" Naomi stuck her tongue out at their victim with her crazed little smirk. " What's your name?" As far as they were concerned, they were on top therefore they called the shots. If he refused to answer... Things were going to head south. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

>Human< >Wolf< These children were possessed! If his ribs didn't hurt before, they did now. God, what had he done to get this kind of punishment? He hadn't killed anyone important... Someone get the damn girls off of him. "I DON'T HAVE A GODDAMN NAME!!"
Shadow pushed up as hard as he could. He was testing the girls earlier. He had barely even used enough strength to lift his arms and legs, let alone push them off. They wouldn't be ready for it, no matter what kind of demons they were. It was very much like doing a sit up, without his knees bent and with his shoulders pinned. So, it passed as VERY difficult, but he was angry, and anger gave him strength, no matter how much pain he had to endure so far.
He didn't wait after pushing them off, he shifted then and there, backing away quickly, watching both of the girls, growling as he did so. He was not going to be pinned again, and, if he was lucky, one of these girls would be bleeding or dead by the end of it.
He show these fluff balls what kind of 'brother' he was... Sibling rivalry popped up in the back of is head. He almost cursed again. These...mutts...weren't anything like him. And he'd prove it. Right here. Right now.

The sudden movement beneath them was unexpected. They honestly believed that they had the other pinned beneath them – which, truth be told, was stupid of them. Though, no one said they were the brightest colors in the rainbow. They were, however, quite flexible and agile. Their quick reaction probably saved them from colliding into each other.
Naomi, having been sitting behind Neoma, hit the ground first. She instantly rolled onto her shoulders and pressed her palms against the snow. With a quick thrust, she pushed her entire body into the air, arching her back so Neoma could roll backwards below her. After completely the backwards somersault, Neoma quickly hopped back to her feet just as Naomi landed on hers, right in front of the transformed werewolf.
“Huh… Naa guesses Nee was right! He is brother!” Naomi mused loudly, her head tilting to the side curiously as she gazed at the wolf before her. She hardly seemed fazed by his sudden transformation or the fact he was growling. In fact, they both seemed quite amused by it.
“Told you so! But, Naa! Brother has no name!” Neoma chimed in, rocking back on her heels and pointing a slender finger at the rather pissed wolf.
“We should give him one, Nee!”
“Nee likes the name Puppy!”
“No! Not Puppy! That’s degrading, Nee. What about… Sunny!”
Neoma giggled at her sister’s response: “Because he obviously seems to be in a rather sunny mood!”
Failing to detect the sarcasm in Neoma’s voice, Naomi nodded happily, “That’s because we finally found him! He’s happy to see us!”
