Maria chuckled, "For Requiem, crazy is an understatement." She knew to well that her sister was among the most insane people she knew -- if she didn't top the charts all together. Nothing fazed Requiem. Nothing (herself discluded) stopped her from getting what she wanted. Kiken could, and would kill someone for simply saying no. The blood shed, caused by her sisters hands, was a troubling amount. Letting out a soft sigh, she rested her head on Loki's shoulder and closed her eyes. She just walked along side him, trusting him not to let her run into anything. "We've been fighting since our birth -- had it not been for tranquilizers we would have destroyed the lab we were born in." She couldn't help but smile softly at the memory. It wasn't because it was a good memory, or that she was even fond of it. It seemed that just remembering something from so long ago had a sort of calming effect on her. "Requiem's goal in life is to destroy and take control of -- and she can only do that if she kills me first. I won't allow it, and that's been a major problem for her for centuries." she explained. Suddenly, the hair on the back of her neck began to stand on end. Opening her eyes, she looked up towards the rooftops. "We have to get out of the city." she said, looking back at Loki, "She's here."
She pushed him somewhat roughly into the brick wall of a deserted ally way, a smirk on her face. "Surely you can do such a litle old favor for me." she breathed into his ear, pressing closer against him. "I-I-I'm sorry, I just can't...." A small sigh of disappointment passed through her full lips. "Too bad." she muttered. "It's a shame to let such a handsome face go to waste." She whispered. One of her hands, which had softly trailed down to his thigh, reached into one of her back pockets. "What are you--" in seconds she had taken out a long knife and slid it inbetween one of his ribs. The tip punctured the heart, and he was dead in seconds. Backing up, she watched as his cold body fell to the ground. Requiem dropped the dagger by the body, letting it splash in the pool of blood. Letting her silver hair out of its ponytail, she pulled her hood back over her face... and walked away. It wasn't often that her flirtatious charm didn't work on a person of the other sex, but when it didn't...well, you couldn't let those people just get away, now could you? It had been a side trip, as her main goal this evening was to attack her sister. She could already feel the exciting-ness of it all boiling within her, and her teeth had elongated sllightly. Taking the stairs -- slowly -- up to the roof of a building, she walked to the edge, just watching all the people below. "Let's play our game, sister. A game you know you will lose." She said quietly to herself, smirking as she did so.

Loki wings extended to their full twelve foot span, revealing an elaborate pattern of feathers and down, the wings looked awkward for a person of his stature, yet they had a grandeur that most other angel wings didn't have, the moon shimmered against them, each feather shimmered like a jewel. "fight of flight?" he replied calmly, as he continued through the street, "i can set more than liquor aflame" his grin was small, yet indicated that he would do either with great efficiently.

Taz walked with a more purposefull gate now, and was relieved when they had at least gotten a good ways away from the center of the city. Though, she doubted it would make a difference when it came down to it -- Requiem always seemed to be able to push the battle closer and closer to civilization. Hopefully, though, Maria would be able to keep the destruction level to a minimum. Actually, Taz had never thought about running away. The urge to fight had always been to strong. But, maybe she could manage it this time around? Who knew. Maria put a little distance between her and Loki, and smiled brightly. "I'm afraid that your tricks won't help us now -- Requiem controls something much hotter than fire." She laughed. The drinks from before were wearing off, it seemed, though still had the effect of making her feel very light hearted -- which was probably why she wasn't acting aggressive, as she normally would. At that point, she stopped walking and waited for her sisters arrival. "You'll probably want to get as far away as you can, so on the chance that I don't see you again...it was very nice to meet you." she said, tiling her head slightly with a wide smile.
[/blockquote][/blockquote] Requiem moved forward and ended up balancing quite precariously on the edge of the roof. She could hear her blood pumping in her ears and her body was shaking with adrenaline. Kiken could see her sister now, but what surprised her was that she wasn't alone. The brough a sly grin to her face, and her bright blue eyes flashed beneath her hood. Her sister should have known better than to keep him around when Requiem was near. Oh, this was going to be fun. Ki-Ki could not hold back the laugh that came back, but stiffled it enough that it only came out to be a small chuckle. Her ebon hood fell from her head as she effortlessly jumped from the roof to the ground, a few yards from where her sister stood. Rising from her crouched position, she took in the view before her. "Now sister, what kind of person have you become? Bringing someone innocent to the scene of such a petty dispute..." she clucked, grinning from ear-to-ear. She wondered exactly how long the two had known eachother -- not that it mattered, Requiem was already considering on how to deal him great harm.

Loki stared at the girl, she had a bloody knife in hand, he assumed that this was the other sister, Loki decided to introduce himself anyways. "I was talking to your sister, she seems nice, im loki, we should grab a drink some time" his voice was playful, but not respectful, loki needed at least to charm the girl, his wings were still extended to full and shining in the moonlight, " now who are you, and if you try to pull anything , you will regret it" ... Maria was right, she looked nothing like requiem. they both had great beauty, but held no resemblance.

Requiem smirked at both him and her sister. "Oh no, Loki, you're going to be the one in regret." Within a moment, her hair had seemed to frizz and her body tensed. She began to run towards Taz, and in mid-attack her body changed in a cloud of red smoke. No longer was she the silver haired, blue clothed Requiem. No, she was a tiger the size of a medium building. Her body shined in the moon, the ebon fur laced with stripes of blazing red. There were bandages around her front legs, but their purpose remained unknown. Her eyes gleamed gold as she met her sister in a battle as familiar as space in time. Maria had since turned into her own demon shift, and was of equal size. Requiem dodged an attack to her face as she rose up onto her back legs. Her tail whipped out behind her, slamming into a nearby abandoned building and causing it to fall into nothing more but rubble. A roar rumbled through her throat as she latched her deadly claws around Taz's neck, wrestling with her for control of the fight. The tiger demon still had her mind set, however, on Maria's companion, and never lost sight of him. She would attack him when Maria least expected it.
Maria brissled at her sisters off handed comment. "What I do really isn't any of your business, is it?" she growled. She shot a look at Loki that clearly said shut up. He had no idea who he was messing with, and that showed by how unafraid he was. The second her sister touched Maria, Taz was already changing into her own demon form. Just before she, too, disappeared in a cloud of smoke, her hand shot out and knocked Loki clear out of the way with a strength a human clearly should not have. The goal was to get him out of the way of her own (as well as Requiem's) stomping paws as the two wrestled. Snarling, she tucked lowered her tail and self to the ground, her fur bristling. The fur upon her self gleamed black and silver -- shining unnaturally metallic in the moonlight. It was like she was glowing. She barked once, putting her own paws on Requiem's shoulders. The two fell sideways and into yet another building. Maria ended up on the bottom and took on the full inpact of the crash. This didn't seem to faze her though, because in a second she had kicked Requiem off and was getting back to her feet.

Loki stood back up and glared at the dual of battling siblings and decided that he'd better support Maria before it was too late. He was surprised at the sheer power that they had, as the two sisters fought. Loki schemed a plan, an impovised incendary would work nicely on catching requiem's attention, giving Taz the perfect amount of time to attack requiem, this would only work if the Molotov Cocktail were to hit her in between attacks. Loki ran for one of the bystanders holding a bottle of hard liquor in a paper bag, the man was older, he was locked deep into the conflict when loki snatched it and ran, loki poured a small bit of the liquor on the now twisted paper bag then shoved it inside the bottle and lit it aflame, loki ran as quickly as he could towards the still fighting siblings and flung it at the enemy, the bottle spew flames all over her fur, setting her and everything around her on fire.

Requiem jumped back and away from her sister for a moment -- successfully knocking over another building. Her eyes glimmered dangerously, as her own ability was on its way from a deep chasm in the earth. She began to growl softly, but it caught in her throat as something relatively small shattered against her side. Fire sprang to life upon her fur, but it didn't do her any harm. What a foolish human. Kiken could bend and control lava, so why something so simple as FIRE hurt her? She hardly minded the flames, but instead focused on her now attacking sister. Requiem dodged and grabbed Taz on the scruff of her neck. Turning, she used all her strength to hurl her sister almost out of the city completely. Putting on a feline smirk, she turned back to Loki -- who looked like an ant, compared to her own massive size. "Are you ready to die, human?" she laughed. Leaning down, she grabbed him very softly in her teeth before flicking her head and throwing him the same way she had her sister. Just as she did, water flew just above her head. Luckily, her own stream of molten rock was there. The two clashed together, creating a sound louder than thunder. They combined, and fell from the sky in the form of large rocks. Snarling, she turned quickly to find that her sister was already gone.
Quickly righting herself, Maria could feel her aggression spiraling out of control. The water of a nearby ocean was beginning to stir, the current suddenly turning into a scary amount of crashing waves. Within moments, people between Obscur and the ocean were looking above their heads as water came flying across the sky in a stream of aqua and sand. In the meantime, Maria knew she had to keep Requiem's attention. Snarling, she attacked. She underestimated her sisters speed, however, and she quickly found herself being hurtling through the air. She landed hard on her side, but at least she know lay on grass and not concrete. Taz laid there for a moment, knowing that while these injuries wouldn't seem so bad now, they would come back to haunt her when she turned back to her human form. Struggling to her feet, she was up just in time to catch Loki by the back of his shirt. She ducked under her own stream of ocean water, and didn't look back. Taz turned and sprinted off into a nearby forest. The trees blurred past as she ran, and she was miles away in minutes. She didn't stop and set Loki lightly down, however, until she was sure Requiem wasn't following her.

"Thanks" loki said as he spread his wings, carefully examining them, some of the feathers were gone, but he knew that they would grow back in a few seconds as they did "you alright? looks like you got hit pretty hard, what happened?" Loki paced on the grass for a moment, "what are her weaknesses?" his face was completely sobered, pondering on the fact that kiki didnt phase from the molotov "lets start at what she hates and move forward, shall we? she obviously doesnt like people or buildings, and what does she think im a human? ive got a blasted twelve foot wingspan!" he laughed at the irony. "its gonna be a while anyways, and ive got wings too, so we can at least safely get some more distance if needed."

Taz was certain that Requiem wasn't following her any more, but she was still far from all right. Lowering her head, she opened her jaws to bite down on a piece of timber. It had lodged itself in her underside at some point, and she was only now feeling it. Closing her eyes, she clenched her jaw. Holding back a yelp, she pulled the piece of building out and threw it off into the woods. Taz was too worried about her injury to even really hear what Loki was saying. Blood began to pour from the wound, but before it could completely flood the little clearing they were in, she shifted back. In seconds she was just plain Taz again -- same clothes and all. This time, however, she was covered in scratches and had a terribly deep puncture wound in her middle. Clutching her stomach, she used her hand to support herself against a tree. She coughed once or twice -- blood splattering against the tree -- before sliding down into a sitting position. She allowed herself to lean back, and fought to keep her eyes open. It had been a long time since she had been injured so badly, and never in these circumstances.

Loki looked at the poor girl, "lay down, I can get you stitched up and give you some tea that will help the pain go away" Loki swooped her from her feet and looked for something soft to put her on "you should get some sleep," loki said sweetly, placing her on a bed of dense grass, "your gonna need it"

Her vision was beginning to swim, and she very suddenly felt light headed. As she was lifted from the ground, she wrapped her arms around Loki's neck and burried her face in his chest. The movement made it feel like someone had hit her head with a hammer, but it was as if the closeness of him was helping to ease it slightly. The sharp pain in her stomach had faded into nothing but a dull thud that echoed in her ears. She had always known that Requiem was stronger than her, and even a better fighter. But, she was angry with only herself. It had been her carelessness that had granted her this wound. By the time she was put down on the grass, she was already nodding off into a dreamless, coma-like slumber.

Loki looked down at the girl, she was now asleep so peacefully curled up in a ball. She was so innocent looking, as she glistened in the moonlight. Loki himself grew tired and decided to lie down next to her. he didnt go to sleep though, instead he kept n eye on her until morning. the moon was full, shining upon him and Maria, he engulfed the girl with both of his wings, trying to do his best to protect her from the elements. He felt a passion for this person that was unique, something that shook the deepest depths of his soul. never had he felt so complete, to have a counterpart that he could relate to, and had amazed him on every occasion, loki felt as though he owed her a great fortune, and he wanted to repay, but still could not think of how.

Maria's wound clotted on its own, thanks to the healing abilities that came with not being completely real. She slept soundly through the night, hardly moving at all -- if it hadn't been for her breathing, she probably would have appeared dead. When she opened her eyes the following morning, she was still curled into a ball and her headache had gone. She was incredibly sore -- especially through her middle -- but would be all right, she knew. Her vision was taken up with Loki's black feathers, but she didn't mind at all. Birds chirped, flittering from one tree to another as quickly as they pleased. There was a soft breeze that filtered through the leaves, creating a very wonderful music that should have been able to calm the most violent of souls. Taz didn't know if Loki was awake, and she really didn't want to look. She was afraid that if she moved the silence around her would shatter completely.

Loki looked at the sky and the foliage around him, the birds were chirping, the leaves were waving in the wind, making a soft whisper that had no contrast to that of the ocean's. The smells also calmed Loki, the foliage had created an aroma that was fine and serene. He carefully opened his wings to see if the girl were awake, her eyes were open, but not completely, just gently looking out, viewing the landscape, her hair was intermixed with her hoodie, which was also about as messy as her hair. "morning" Loki said softly, looking down at Maria, stretching his limbs and wings in a way that didnt disturb the peaceful silence.

Maria's eyes flickered open as she looked back up at Loki and smiled lightly. "Hi..." she said softly, just barely being able to bring back the complete events of the previous evening. Maria only faintly tried to sit up, but knew very quickly how painful that was going to be. She cringed at the flicker of pain that ran across her torso, and instead laid completely back down. She knew that she would eventually have to get up, but she wasnt ready to do so just yet. Quite unconsciously, she curled back up on her side and move closer to Loki. The grass tickled the back of her neck as she laid there, unsure of where exactly the road of life would take her next. She liked Loki, and didn't want to leave him, but she didn't want him in harms way either. This put a heavy question on her heart, one she refused to think about at that particular moment.
