Loki looked around at the entrance of Obscur, the wooden sign didn't impress him at all, it was ugly and dilapidated, at least to him. He quietly mumbled to himself as he walked under, complaining about it, drawing the attention to the crowd of humans that were previously yelling at vendors and shoving coins in their faces. He looked in disappointment at them all, though he kept his face down. hs conception of modern humanity was that of any other reject. he adjusted his tee while he walked on. he clutched his stomach, he was having hunger pains, so he looked up at the people still staring at him and cleared his throat "where is the nearest bar from this point, im hungry and thirsty." he looked at the crowd, stunned at the few words that came out of his mouth, men women and children all paused until someone finally told him. ... The bar was old and runned-down, like the entrance to Obscur, it was lined with dirt and cracks that went up to the top of the inn, he looked at the door and pressed on the handle, after a few pushes, he was in. The bartender looked in joy at the him as Loki sat down "what would you like lad?" his musky Scottish accent was friendly and calm. the bartender was a little fat, yet seemed content, that made Loki feel joyful himself "get me one part rum, two parts vodka, and top it with scotch, cause beer's like pisswater to me." he said in a worn tone "and get me some of that fish and chips"

~*Maria Taz Ishigami*~Clouds may come, But clouds must go, And they all have a silver lining. For behind each cloud you know, The sun, or moon, Is shining.
Taz walked through the crowded streets of Obscur. Her hoodie was pulled over her face as she attempted to just blend in.The people here were more hostile than in the other cities, she knew, and the last thing she wanted was to get into any trouble. No, she was just another person on these streets. Vendors shouted at her, people pushed by with the self importance of a King. No one gave her a second glance, and that was exactly how she liked it. She had recently had an "almost" run-in with her sister. She had been on the outskirts of the Desert Klisha when she felt her sisters presence -- Taz had come here to avoid the confrontation. In normal circumstances, her sister would have followed her and a fight would have broken out -- but, for one reason or another, her sister hadn't caught up to her. Those aggressive feelings were gone now, and left her tired and drained. In her 500 years, she had been to Daika many times for one reason or another, and so knew it quite well. Seeing as there weren't many places to get something to eat other than bar, that's exactly where she was headed. When she came to the outskirts of town, she turned off the busy main street. It didn't take long for her to reach her destination. Taking her hands out of her pockets, she pushed the door to the bar open. In a second, her hoodie had flown off her head and she had ducked to the ground. Using the tips of her fingers as support, she balanced on her toes as a glass flew out the door -- had she still been standing, it would have hit her right in the face. She cringed as it smashed into a thousand pieces, and looked over her shoulder to see that it had smashed into the chest of a passer-by. Slowly standing back up, she braced herself -- this man looked angry, and was obviously blaming her for the cuts that now adorned his body.

Loki looked at the man who threw the shot glass at the girl, he was obviously some drunken idiot, Loki then turned to the girl, then turned to his drink and took a swig and threw it at the man so hard that the shot glass itself implanted itself into his forehead, then sent shards of glass into his skull. Then he looked at the girl, "you seem a little shaken, lets have a drink" Loki said in a drunken enjoyment. The other people in the pub were still astonished at Loki's amazing feat of destruction, their mouths still hanging open at the bloody mess that he had made on the floor, the mixture of blood, brain, and glass was their main focus. He took another swig, and put His money on the table, "give her whatever she wants" Loki said in a slight drunken slur, then turned to the girl "sit, explain yourself, you just seem like a person i can relate to."

~*Maria Taz Ishigami*~Clouds may come, But clouds must go, And they all have a silver lining. For behind each cloud you know, The sun, or moon, Is shining.
Taz's eyes widened as another glass flew by her ear with such speed that it sent her hair flying around her face. She watched as it stuck in the man's head and then shattered in a fashion similar to the one before. But, unlike the one from before, this one sent the man falling to the ground in a pool of blood and brain matter. Maria wasn't unused to blood and gore, but the spontaneousness of it all was enough to disturb her a bit. She stared at the dead man for a moment, but eventually turned to who had ended the strangers life. She was met with a man who appeared young, with red hair and dark eyes. She nodded and walked into the bar, trying to ignore the looks she was getting from the people around her. Sitting down in the chair next to him, she pondered on her decision. Something light, or something heavy? Eh, it had been a long day. "Jack Daniels. Neat." She watched as the bartender nodded and went about getting her her drink. "What do you want to know?" she asked, not really knowing where to start. When the drink was placed before her, she took it in her hand. She was a little impressed -- normally people didn't know what neat meant. Taz looked at it for a moment, before tilting her head back and draining the glass. Setting the glass back down, she motioned for another and took a fry from the guys plate. She knew it would take awhile for the alcohol to set in, as straight whiskey took a glass or two to affect herself -- as girlish as she was, she wasn't a light weight.

Loki looked at the girl who had just sat down next to him, "nice to meet you, im Loki and you must be insane" he calmly joked "you seem like a hated person, just like me, that man threw a shot glass at you, tell me your story" he took a swig of his mix, the toxic concoction did barely anything but give him a buzz. He now looked at the bartender, who seemed to be shocked by his performance. He looked back at the girl's glass of whiskey "those Scotts know how to make alcohol, its hard to find a good barman, eh?" Loki looked in interest at the girl and her drink "so, looking at the girl, since you seem experienced, what do you do for a living" maybe he was asking too many questions, for one night, but he didnt care, he was paying for the drinks and the food, so he had some entitlement to ask.

Maria shrugged, "I'm Maria, but people like to call me Taz." she replied. She took the next drink in her hand, but instead of instantly drinking it, just held it -- swirling the contents around in their glass prison. She actually had no idea who threw that glass, or if she even knew them. Taz hadn't cared enough to look, though she figured she should have...the next time she turned around their could be a gun pointed at her head. Eh, what difference did it make anyway? She could tell that the drink was taking a toll on her in one way or another all ready. Though, she also knew that the more she drank the more reckless and "fun" she'd get. "It's been awhile since I've been to a bar, so I wouldn't know." she laughed, setting her drink back down. She was just starting to feel the effects from the first one come into play. "What I do for a living, hm?" she pondered outloud. "Nada." she said, downing her second drink. Actually, had he not have been there, she probably would have ended up getting a meal and leaving without paying up. "I'm not hated either...well," she smirked, "By most people, anyway." she added, putting the glass back down.

"Then what what was that glass hurling towards you?" Loki said playfully, "I mean, none of us are saints" he smiled "i used to do gods 'dirty work' if you can believe that" he said as he swigged another mouthful and spreading his wings a small bit to indicate. "yup, those were the days, i used to be able to destroy civilizations if I had to" he looked down at his glass "one day, my good friend Satan got in a fight with the man up there so i fought with him, I was sick of having god act as a saint when i was the one hated by the other angels. so along with Satan, I was sent to hell and stripped of my power, until Satan got a big enough energy manifest to bring a small bit back" he looked at her again "guess whose dirty work I do now" my grin got wider as he took another sip. "anyways you must have some history, if mine goes that far, you must have a little bit of one too" he took a deeper stare now, into her eyes, just to see what was going on in there, "looks like you've got a few centuries."

"I have no clue." she said, in an equally as playful tone, grinning slightly. She listened to his story, but she was too eveloped in her own thoughts to really process any of it. She heard enough, however, to offer a comment about it. "Sounds like you have friends in very high places." she chuckled, motioning for another drink -- she would need it if she was going to tell a stranger her life story. "Yeah...just a few." she joked. "I don't remember much about where I come from, I can't say it's all the important." she shrugged. "But, what I do know, is that I'm not completely organic." she said thoughtfully, "If you want to call it that." she laughed. "I was born in a lab for no particular reason, with a twin whose nothing like me." she took a sip of her drink then, "Her name's Requiem Kiken Ishigami, if you want a new project. Wouldn't matter to me if she ended up dead in a ditch some where." And there went her third drink. She would probably start slurring her words now. Maria knew she was probably drinking and telling to much to a complete stranger, but hey, that's what you did in bars anyway right?

"Sounds like you were made for testing, and i wouldn't call them 'friends' in 'high places'" Loki looked at the girl jokingly, "wouldn't surprise me if that were the case, usually things are more complex then they seem in labs, but nothing surprises me aymore" he looked at her in joy, "maybe you and i are both immortal, most of my humanoid friends die off or get old, eternity sucks" he looked again at the bartender, now mopping the floor of blood and gore, "lets just say that i was made before creation" he took yet another swig "So, do you do any tricks?" he said with a grin, making a small ball of flame "that's all i can do basically, make fire a useless skill if you ask me, guess i could light cigs for cash if i needed to" he laughed a bit this time and the set his stein aside, "show me what you got" Loki then threw his fireball at his stein, setting the contents aflame."

The grin on Maria's face didn't disappear as she pulled herself out of her own thoughts long enough to cast a look in Loki's direction. "I used to think that they were going to hunt me down and take me back, but I doubt any of them are alive." she chuckled, "So I'm free as a bird!" she laughed, leaning back in her chair. She watched with interest as he set the alcohol aflame. Leaning forward, she leaned on her elbows and rested her chin on her folded hands. "Tricks, hmmm?" she began, "I suppose you could call them that, but only some times." she laughed. "I haven't any control of them, so I'd be cautious if I were you." she joked, watching the flames dance on the alcohol. God forbid her sister would show up on such a wonderful evening. If she did, Taz would be in a bitch load of trouble, she was sure. The girl was drunk enough that Kiken would most likely rip her head off -- and damage the city to a point of no return in the process. Maria was no doubt the defender when it came down to it, and she would do anything to stop her sisters devilish plans -- even if that meant destroying whole cities in the process.

He looked at the girl in great joy, she was almost a recreation of him "it was a while ago when i had uncontrollable powers" he explained "i made mushroom clouds that you could see from another continent, i destroyed the populous at gods will, i never liked to murder those doing what they loved" he took a look into the flaming stein "god doesnt like free will, never did" Loki frowned, "that was thousands of years ago" He looked at the girls hair, and then at her eyes "you seem a little disturbed by something, worried even, whats up?"

"The problem with God," she began, thinking quite deeply on the subject, "Is that he dug our grave for us. He gave us free will, did he not?" she said, though it was a rhetorical question. She lifted her eyes from the bar to meet his, "Worried..." she chuckled, "When you live a life like me you're always worried." she laughed, bringing her hand up to push a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "My sister brings out the worst in me," she said quite simply. She picked her glass up again and swirled the little puddle in the bottom of it around. "And I fear that she may be close." Taz felt nothing that indicated it, and she doubted that her sister would start something at such an hour. Though, she couldn't shake the feeling that Requiem was plotting something -- something that wouldn't end well for her, or anyone else. It was in Requiem's nature to destroy, and Maria was well aware of the fact that she would most likely die at her sisters hand. It was something she always thought about, but rarely did it ever cause such worry -- the alcohol, no doubt.

Loki's eyes sobered, and his wings spread as he crossed his legs. "the thing is, immortals dont have graves." Loki put his hand on the table slowly "so, your sis, there must be a sibling rival between her and you" he looked around and then whispered "how much time do you think we have?" he looked at the men in the bar, they seemed to be masculine enough for a fight "wait here, ive got a plan" at that moment, he stood up and spilt one man's beer upon the table and another's upon a drunk, a barfight would be a nice diversion of city officials. as the men started to throw punches at each other, he went to the girl. "lets get going"

Maria smiled softly, "It is a curse you have, then, because I will eventually die." Though, it wouldn't be of old age, that was for sure. "It's a little more than just a rivalry" she laughed, seeing as the word had such a petty sound to it. It was correct to a degree, she guessed, but the word rival suggested that they were competing -- which was completely and utterly wrong. It was the never ending right vs. wrong battle. They had been playing it for 500 years, and she doubted that it would end any time soon -- or, at least, without a big bang. She watched with a quizzical look as he started a fight in the bar, but didn't question it. She figured he had some hidden reason behind it, and she didn't care enough to ask. Taz attempted to hop lightly from her seat to the floor, as she normally would, but that didn't go as smoothly as it should have -- considering the drinks she had had just a little while ago. Stumbling a bit, she ended up leaning against Loki as they walked out the door and into the street.

Loki looked at the girl now leaning against him as they walked out of the pub and into the streets, it was night now, and he was still overjoyed that the charming entity would at least live longer, "we all die" he replied with his arm around her shoulder, "not like i have died, but i don't have a crazy sister following me" the stars were bright, each one a different glimmer, the streets were a maze now, music boomed from all sections of the market city, the vendors now had their lanterns lit brightly each beckoning someone to come and see what they're selling, Obscur was a beautiful place at night. Loki looked at Maria now, her hair glistening in the moonlight "your hair is amazing" there was not much else Loki could say, it was the truth anyways. "why did you start fighting in the first place?"
