This Battle's Opponent Two has been approved. Both Opponents must now state their special rules to the fight. There are already rules in place according to the type of Battle (see list below). Opponent One may go first. Please state if no special rules are needed from you by simply saying "None". After Opponent Two has also stated their rules and I have approved, the duel shall begin. - There shall be no deathes because this is a Friendly Duel. - There shall be no God-modding of other Opponents. - Basic rules apply to Duels as well. - Use creativity to Win. Don't just have at it and describe the actions. What are your character's thinking? How are others reacting? Etc. - Do not take the Results of this Duel into the c-box (e.i. YOU LOST!!!11! AHAHAHA I AM BETTER ) - There shall not be any taunting during the fight OUTSIDE of this thread, including the c-box. Opponents may taunt one another in the Arena though. - Opponents may not sneak in people to help them/extra weapons/poisons/etc. unless the Duel allows it. This is a Friendly Duel so unless stated in the Opponent's special rules, none of the above are allowed.
Awaiting Opponent One's Rules.

Opponent Two's rules have been approved. Both Opponents shall now enter the Arena. Rules have been stated by the Opponents and the Trickster Roxiri. Any breach of the stated rules will be punished, ranging from the banning of the Opponent from the Arena to the death of the Opponent. In this place, you are not innocent until proven otherwise. You are guilty until something proves your innocence.
This is a Friendly Duel between Saeros Elensar and Konrad Zeigler. Both have been provided the basic information of the other. Both have the right to use the weapon/weapons of their free choice. Finally. both Opponents may freely use their powers to the full extent.
The randomly chosen Arena shall not be described, though both parties may or may not describe it if they so choose. One thing, though, has been made sure. There may or may not be traps, though there are not any extra weapons unless you make it so. Opponent One shall post first.
This shall be the last Post from the Trickster until the Duel is over. ~x~ The Trickster sat at a Throne and swept her eyes across the anxious crowd. This was to be the First Duel and they weren't sure what to expect and, to be quite frank, the Trickster didn't know either. Perhaps, she mused, it would be worth the time put into the Arena itself. People murmured, glancing at the female before dodging her look to them. That is, until she stood.
The Trickster was not a full grown female, younger then most present at age fourteen though she commanded attention at this point. Her face had become serious as she mutely stood, collecting the people's gazes. The Trickster was a Shifter -- like the apparent Opponent One she had been told -- though she could take any form. Rumours spoke that she could even turn to air and water if she wanted.
"My people," she began strongly as a small smile graced her features, "I bring you the first ever Duel of this very Arena. I expect it to be quite...entertaining. It is a Friendly Match between Saeros Elensar the Loner and Konrad Zeigler of the Daikan Court." she continued, sensing both unease and excitement from the names of the Opponents.
Finally, smile growing larger, she signaled to the group of musicians in another part of the stand. They readied as she opened her mouth for her final speech. "And now, bring out the Opponents and let the Duel begin!" she exclaimed happily, the musicians beginning to play the closing. And only then did the Trickster sit back down at her Throne, waiting for the action to finally begin.
And, to no doubt, the Opponents would not disappoint.

Saeros walked through the crowd of people attending the duel he and his opponent shall have. It was so not like him yet the duel was a friendly one thus neither of them would get hurt. much. Saeros wasn't sure weather his opponent would take this to its full or just have fun. He planned to enjoy the fight without revealing too much about himself. Being an elf meant pleasure and care for nature as a whole and much less regarding human kind or any other creatures or beeings that had no respect for what nature had to offer much less gratitude for what they already recieved.
The loner elf swept his gaze across the area and slowly made his way into the arena. Music began playing as soon as the Trickster finished his speech. At first sight, Saeros couldn't believe how young the female was, something that didn't quite made sence considering the power and responsability Trickster had on her hands. Still, Saeros guessed she was some sort of important figure with poweful family. Not being particulary eager or interested in her history Saeros put aside that thought and walked to the center of the arena.

Standing confidently in the preparation room, Konrad looked at himself in the mirror. Everything was in place: his foil was cleaned, polished and shined. His dark navy military uniform was pressed, ironed, and fresh. Even his demeanor was bright and a winning smile hung across his face, red eyes glinting under the silver hair. He hadn't participated in a duel for a while and he was excited. It was going to be fun and exhilarating, leaving him pumped for the rest of the season. Not only was the combat something to look forward to, but the social recognition was also a big plus. People would know his face and he could make friends through a duel whether it was his opponent or members of the crowd. Of course, that didn't mean that he didn't take the fight seriously. Konrad was still in to win and was going to give it his all.
Straightening his uniform one last time, the vampire opened the door and strode down the corridor. After a brief walk, a gate could be seen. The gate to the arena. From behind the gate, Konrad could hear the Trickster announcing the match. As her broadcast started to end, Konrad nodded to the sentry, who opened the gate, allowing the noble vampire to stride out into the open air.
Music erupted from the musician stand near the Trickster and allowed the crowd to fill with exuberance. Konrad waved to the throng sitting in the stands before approaching his spot near the center of the arena, where the opponent was already standing across from. He hadn't seen his brother yet, but he knew that Matthias was sitting in the stands with his family, watching him compete. He had to do his best.
The noble took his place and took a bow. "Good day, sir." He spoke in a gentlemanly fashion as he drew his foil from its sheath. The steel flashed in the sunlight as the swordsman brandished it slightly. Grinning widely, Konrad dropped into a fighting stance. "Shall we begin?"

The crowd was going crazy once the opponent Saeros was duelling with made its appearence and using a gentlemanțs tone and behaviour he gave Saeros the impresion he was ready. But that wasn't all. Saeros couldn't put its finger on it however something was fishy about the man before him. For the time being he wasn't eager to figure the man out though something told him it was better to get a hold of his aware just in case. better safe than sorry he often found himself saying to anyone not just to him.
"You go first." Saeros replied to the man as he draw out his two eflish swords. their blue light shined over the arena making the people nearby cover their eyes. With a gaze, the elf smiled to himself before he bowed down in respect. Afterwords he swong his swords with fluid movements from his wrists in order to warm up. He didn't had a proper worming thus he was feeling a bit rusty.

Flashing his broad smile, Konrad dipped his sword slightly and said, "Very well, then." He understood why another would not want to dive into the battle before the other, but the fight wouldn't get anywhere if no one took the offensive. Of course, brute force definitely would not get him anywhere. Eyeing the opponent's blades, Konrad could tell that they were much sturdier than his foil, which was more suited for accurate stabs than aggressive slashing and crushing.
Digging his heel into the ground, the vampire took off and charged toward the elf, bracing himself with his blade. It looked like a straight on attack from a distance, but a experienced combatant could tell that he was going to cross the opponent, albeit by a few inches at most. The foil was aimed to only scratch or at most cut the tip of the foe's ear. He wasn't aiming to wound with this charge. It was partially to intimidate the foe, but really, it was a feint. However, the feint had to be carefully timed, lest it fails.
As the distance between the two figures started to shrink rapidly, Konrad dropped his arm, bringing his foil down to a guard on his left side. Stepping his right foot forward, placing it about three feet behind the elf, the swordsman pulled his other leg behind and matched his calf to his opponents. Still bearing his blade at a cross with the foe's, Konrad dug his right foot down, smiled at the elf, and swung his left leg backwards.
