Oceans?

Oceans, seas, and ports that kind of thing. I'm not sure about the complete geography of Xisin but I believe that with the addition of this RPs wouldn't be limited to land (not that it is, but you know...)

What we need in addition to that is a good couple maps. A topographical and political map. I don't know anyone who is good at drawing maps, but it would be nice to have those. My character is going to be a big traveler. If there will be oceans, I think I'd make a pirate character XD that'd be fun.

I can see making boards for things like Oceans and whatnot (Especially since Taz uses salt water as her power), but since Roxi isn't creative enough to place and describe them, then I want YOU -- the awesome creators of this idea -- to name, describe them, and place them into a catagory. Repost it here, and I'll consider it.

I have absolutely no patience for it, and Roxi-kun doesn't have the programs to do it.

Haha I was in the middle of a character idea and I thought: hm... I want to make a Pirate... But then there's nothing to sail on.

As far as maps I don't know... I'm not that good at drawing and I'm not sure about the programs needed.

Just find someone that can draw, and understand what you describe them... and that has a scanner. XD

Is anyone going to actually write the descriptions down on this thread like they said they would? O-o; *massive sweatdrop* Just wondering since the site isn't getting any younger and if you guys want oceans then you gotta write the descriptions XD

Here's my thought on oceans. Yeah, they'd be a nice feature to have, but, I think too many of them would just make things way too complicated.. and kinda boring. Oceans are all kinda the same you know? You'd have to find a way to make them somewhat different, and then actually have a need for them. I think at the moment all of the Xisin kingdoms are connected via landmass? Would have to check that with Dream though.

Ports however, are a completely different feature all together. I think they could work quite well, not only in the bigger cities, but in some smaller (and at the moment non-recorded) villages too. They add an extra environment to the cities and what not. But of course, these would need some ocean to actually work. I think also, we could have a port town for each kingdom. Simply meaning, a town that is built entirely for the purpose of being a trading port. Could even have one for some little pirate faction.

Maps would be a really good idea, since none of us actually know the geography for the three Xisin kingdoms and are all acting on how we believe them to be. Plus, if war between kingdoms became a feature, they'd be helpful. But would also be really useful for any roleplays involving travel. But, as Roxi said, making a map is no simple thing. You have to have insane knowledge of maps, and the patience to actually draw it. You would also need to have a seriously good idea of the geography of each of the places, which at the moment, is all in Dreams mind. Trying to work up those ideas will not be easy. Though, I'm tempted to have a go in the holidays or something.

the existance of oceans in this site would be required if, the three kingdoms would be actually big islands thus ports required for trading and traveling from one kingdom to another as far as possible boards hmmm i would simply add a ".... port" subboard for each kingdom and make a new board with the name Oceans. only that would be borring so yeah hmmm maybe some special, crazy, awesome, killing spree small islands with secrets of any kind to be added. that would make things more appealing and my char is a traveler also.

btw, this idea can be improved if, we have more members. if a war would rage or hmmm maybe some foreighn/evil/war bringer clans/groups would do an underground work to bring the three kingdom to wage war things would explode yay . i'm thinking that maybe, each kindgom have some sort of secret powerful weapon thus balance would be kept since neither would leave unharmed. what if one of the weapons is stolen by a kingdom, and makes it look like the other kingdom did it two birds in one shot lol and some weird group of naive -cough- i mean brave people would being a quest to retake the weapon, give it back to the rightfull owner thus restore peace.

Even though those are really cool ideas, it would require a main plot for XISIN. It's one of things that we have yet to do and probably will never do (having a main plot), though we might use it as a side plot soon owo And also, for everyone that still wants Oceans/Ports/etc...Please put up names/descriptions. Me and Dream (Dream and I for those of you that like grammer ;3) aren't going to post any up unless either someone makes the places' names/descriptions or we have a day where we suddenly are like "LET'S DO THIS!"...So yeah xD

To Saeros: We need Kings and Queens before we can even consider having a war. I'm already one and I don't want to manage another royal (coughgomakeonecough).

I don't think we'll have a giant blast of new members in the near future though...
