Abnormal Strength and Speed
Deveric has enough strength to lift a ton with one hand and speed fast enough to run alongside a racing horse. However, under the sunlight his strength is cut by 50%.

Illusion
By touching a person's naked forehead with his bare hand, Deveric can manipulate the other's mind to see their worst nightmare (or otherwise if he wanted to). Meanwhile, the person's body would be in a state as if sleeping. The effect lasts while Deveric maintains his concentration, so if he was distracted, the effect would be lifted. This does no physical harm to the body of the victim, but can damage them mentally.

Rapid regeneration
Deveric heals abnormally fast. One second he might look like he was going to bleed to death and the next the wound would look about weeks old. There is a slight problem with healing when something is stuck in him, because flesh and whatever else can't take up the same space. Therefore, there will be a gap there until the item is removed. When a limb or something is cut off, it cannot jump regrow put of the stump, but if the cut off limb is held to the wound and time is given, the sinew and bone will reattach. Of course, decapitation is not healable. Or at least not in time for him to stay alive.

Invisibility
Deveric can make himself invisible for two hours a day. The time periods can be broken. However, his shadow can still be seen and if he walks in front of a mirror (or other reflective surfaces), his reflection is visible. 
   
  
Weapons;; 
A rapier fashioned out of a special metal that is only available in Hell. It will never break and the blade burns those that come into contact with it.
Deveric has a chain that will (or attempt to) bind any person he wills it to as long as that person is within 10 meters of Deveric.
 
Personality;; Normally, it would take you a lifetime or twenty to figure out what was going through Deveric's mind. His face usually had a stoic look and his eyes cold. However, if something or someone gets on his nerves, he doesn't hesitate to let his aura make you know that he's pissed. Not only so, but he's also going to do something about it. That usually means completely eradicating it.

Besides that, Deveric usually does what he wants and doesn't pay much heed to humans. He doesn't seem to care much for his country, although technically his fealty is to Daika. Or its King at least. The only person (or mortal, at least) whom Deveric would follow orders concretely from would be the current King of Daika, Drako Carlington. He does respond to the other members of the Royal Family in one way or another, but not as vigilantly. Even when he doesn't, his demeanor does remain relatively polite.

Appearance;; In demon form, his eyes turn bright crimson and his canines protrude into fangs. Two black leathery wings also sprout from his back and their edges can tear through wood.

History;; Deveric used to live in Hell, where he'd do nothing all day long. That was how he lived for the majority of his life. During that time, though, he met a demon by the surname of LaRosa, who was a fire demon. LaRosa was giant prankster who liked to take advantage of Deveric's weakness to fire and tease him. With time, Deveric had developed a black hatred for this demon and swore to destroy him. This vow was soon void when Heaven and Hell chose to swap warriors for their own needs. Deveric was among those pulled out of the fiery depths to go and serve as the heavenly realm's gatekeeper.

Although it was more interesting than hell, Deveric wasn't about to condemn himself as a lowly gatekeeper. Especially in front of angels. Often, he ditched his position and lazed off during his shift. Tired of his ragtag performance, the demon was sent to the middle realm of XISIN to end an ongoing war.

When he plummeted down to XISIN, Deveric happened to land in the middle of a battlefield right when two sides began tearing at each other. Pissed at being tossed down so easily, Deveric began slaughter the whole field of men. Soon, it didn't matter whose side who was on, they were all doing the same thing: fleeing. In a matter of minutes, all the units were either dead or on the verge of dying. Word about this fantastic individual soon spread back to Daika and into the King Drako's ear. Without fail, Deveric was soon scouted to be the Captain of the Daikan Knights and the King's right hand man.

Deveric learned of the King's lineage and traced it back to several beings including demons and various mystical creatures of all kind. Although the main base of his blood was human, Deveric could see what type of blood ran through the veins of the Royal Family and decided that they were worthy of his service and swore fealty to them. With his aid, the war soon came to an end. A treaty was signed and now Deveric just waits for it to be broken once more.
 
Other;; As they all say, when a devil cries, their powers are gone, but that usually isn't a problem for him.
However, Deveric can't stand fire and feels it 10 times hotter than a normal human. Basically, he would burn up ten times faster.
