Venus walked down the busy street, back from looking around the new town. Desmond and him had recently moved in with each other, along with another vampire by the name of Zane. Zane had called them a Coven or something like that. They had had to move to a larger house then Venus's previous one and still hadn't finished unpacking.
Today was their first day they would actually be living in the house and staying the night there. It wasn't the best of houses, with only three bedrooms and one bathroom. And yesterday Desmond had said that he would leave the last bedroom empty and be staying with Venus. He was kidding....right...?
Venus's face heated itself into a light blush at the thought. Surely Desmond had been kidding! Venus distracted his mind by thinking about the new town they lived in. It was much more busy then Venus's old town but Venus liked the energy.
After another minute or two of walking, Venus made it to the front door of the new house. He knocked on the locked door, wondering how much unpacking Zane and Desmond had actually done. Probably not that much, knowing them.

Zane was more than enthusiastic about this new life he was about to have. It had been longer than he could remember (well he could remember, he was just too lazy to add up the total years), since he had had company of any kind. The prospect of living with two younger vampires excited him, though he didn't really show it, and for once, he was actually having fun, cleaning! Zane never really used to clean his old house, because he never really had to, an old woman used to randomly venture in there on random days and randomly started cleaning, and he had no idea why. Though, whenever she did appear, he made himself scarce and quickly went out around the town. He didn't want to scare the poor old woman after-all. She looked so frail and breakable, though most humans did to him, he didn't want to unintentionally scare her to death, literally.
Although this new house was sort of cramped and rather old, much like himself, he didn't seem to mind. If need be, he could always find a bigger and better house when the time called for it, and he had always said that any house can be a good house if a little time was spent on it. Zane had all the time in the world to make their new little house beautiful again. He found it odd, calling the house theirs, he'd never said it before, because he'd never lived with anyone besides his family that he could hardly remember. He could hardly remember any of his human life, but he didn't care. Being a vampire was so much more fun than being a crappy weak human. What was better than immortality. Immortality with someone to spend the rest of time with. He snorted in his mind. But now, he actually had people to spend his time with, though, he had no idea how long they would actually stay with him. He hoped a while, since they were fairly young, and he was already an old vampire with legends and tales of his own.
Zane moving the furniture in the front room, a large couch was balanced over his hand with one hand, while he held another against his side. That's when he smelt the new smell at his new door. “Venus.” The almost ancient vampire said to himself. He quickly placed the two couches where he thought they belonged, one under the large window at the front of the sitting room, and one on the west wall, and within a blink of an eye, he was at the door, with his hand on the handle
“DESMOND!!! YOU'RE BOYFRIEND IS HERE!!” He bellowed to the other-half of the vampire that was at his door, a vampire named Desmond.

Desmond walked around his and Venus' room placing his stuff where he wanted. Most of his books and such were in the other bedroom. Earlier he had gone out of his way to redecorate the room such that it could no longer be able to be used as a room. A large portion was filled with his books and other things he did not want Venus to see yet. He had put in a desk so when he wanted he could lock himself in the room and write to his hearts content. He had also put some of Venus' paintings there so he could use it for inspiration if needed. He was sure that it would take months for Venus to convert the room back into a bedroom and by then Venus would have given up to him. At least that was the plan.
There were other reasons he was happy to move here. Now he could be around Venus all the time and enjoy his reactions to everything that he does. It was after all what made Venus so adorable. Every little thing he did made him blush. Just thinking about how flustered he got yesterday when he said that they would be staying in the same room. It just made him want to tease him some more.
He walked to the drawer making sure there was enough room for Venus' clothing and more. Everything had to be perfect so that he would not try to get back. He had been tempted to unpack Venus' items but he thought the Venus might get mad so he had left his boxes alone. He then moved to the bed fixing the pillows. He was having so much fun thinking about what he would be doing with Venus in this room. If he had a tail it would have been wagging a mile a minute. When he was done he sat down on the bed waiting for Venus to come home.
When he heard Zane call out that Venus was home he rose out of bed and made his way down to the front door. Zane stood there with with the door still closed. Why hadn't he opened the door yet. He had been hoping to get down had tackle hug Venus. He stopped himself from running into Zane. "Why is the door still closed?" He wanted nothing more then to pick Venus up and show him their room.

Venus turned a bright shade of red when he heard Zane's shout. And he was also sure that the whole block regretted selling the rundown house to three gay/bi male vampires. Yep, he could tell they did as someone weakly yelled to shut up from far away. It was the house three doors down on their street to the left.
"Let me in you guys!" Venus said, still blushing heavily. He didn't feel like sitting outside in the heat and blazing sun by the door. It was too hot to really just sit there. He had the thought of kicking the door down but that was just plain stupid. So he waited for the door to open.

Zane just left his hand on the door handle, waiting for Desmond to come downstairs, and when he did, he looked at the vampire boy and smiled. Zane's face was beautiful, spotless, clear, sometimes, he was even able to draw other vampires into him, but that was rare. Since not many vampires lived where he used to live, the village was quite small after-all. When Desmond asked him why the door wasn't open, Zane simply looked back at the door handle, not really knowing himself. He had intended to open it, but for some reason, he hadn't. Strange. When Zane did finally open the door, his the sunlight seemed to make his skin somewhat glow, but it was just an illusion of the bright rays.
Zane's warm and welcoming brown eyes looked down at the white-haired vampire boy, Venus. He smiled once more as he stood to the side to let Venus into their new home ”Welcome, Venus. We've been expecting you.” Zane had a very alluring deep voice, in fact, it was so alluring, one of the girls on the street seemed to let out a slight moan before turning her blonde-pig-tailed head of hair in his direction. Zane simply sighed at the reaction and quickly beckoned the young vampire in. He was hoping he'd hurry, Zane really didn't want to deal with another woman who'd fallen in love with him at first sight. It annoyed him to no end.

Desmond was taken a back when the sun rays hit Zane. He was beautiful, if he had not met Venus he would have most likely been trying to capture Zane's heart. However, to Desmond nothing was more attractive then Venus and his blood. He turned to the door and saw Venus standing there. He looked like he really wanted to come in. Desmond smiled as he started to move. Before Venus could move Desmond grabbed his hand and pulled him into a hug. He held him tight and moved him closer into the house. He then kissed him on the lips as a further greeting. He is going to be so red, he thought to himself as he then took a step back.
He looked at Venus. "I've unpacked my stuff in our room. I wanted to unpack your stuff but I decided against it. I hope there is enough room for everything." He then reached into his pocket and pulled out Venus' copy of the key to his house. He did not need Venus locked out of the house all the time. He would have to admit that he had been tempted not to give it so that Venus would have to go everywhere with him if he wanted to go out. However that would have caused problems for him if he wanted to stay home and write.

As the door opened and another soon-to-be Zane fangirl moaned, Venus really wanted to get away from the fangirl. Bad things happened when Zane was spotted by a fangirl. Venus was then surprised when Desmond pulled him into a hug. It wasn't until his lover crashed his lips onto the poor youngest vampire that Venus blushed. And blushed he did.
The Zane fangirl's friend squealed something about Yaoi. In a small corner of his mind, Venus told himself to figure out what yaoi was. It sounded strange. When Desmond released Ven, he was bright red again.
"I thought you were kidding about rooming with me!" he said, eyes huge and his blush getting redder. The poor vampire's face was on fire. Venus took his key, not trusting his thoughts, which were pretty dirty at the moment. He continued to blush as he put the key into his pocket. He didn't even try to say anything else, afriad of what he might blurt out.

Vanessa smiled in satisfaction as she finally finished unpacking all of her stuff, somehow fitting everything that she owned into her and Zane's room. If she could have a choice in having her own room or not, she would SO take it. She would much rather have her own room than having to share with another vampire. The fact that her roomie was a guy didn't help much either. With a heavy sigh, she whipped the non-exsistant dust off of her hands, looking around for something to do. After finding nothing, she heard Zane yell to another person in the house that his boyfriend was here. Great. Now she could finally meet the other people of her "coven", as Zane had so named it.
Walking out the door, she grabbed a hoodie to through over her bare arms before going downstairs. After all, meeting the two other people while dressed in a pair of short-shorts and a tank top wasn't the best option. So, hopefully the decision to throw on a hoodie would make it better. It was a bit cold as well. Making her way down the stairs, she came across the two others that she hadn't met yet in an imbrace, one of them totally beet red. Chuckling to herself, announcing her prescence. Hey Zane, I'm done unpacking. And hello you two, she said in a friendly manner, waving at the other two.

The newborn vampire was stumbling across Tochigi, gripping her throat. The sun beat down on her sensitive skin, quickly turning it red. It wouldn't be long before she started to blister and bleed. She had to find shade. She had to find blood. Her crimson eyes screamed her danger but no one saw. She kept her eyes lowered to the ground. She could hear the beating hearts of citizens of the city - I can't! - she could smell the blood running through their viens - I have to fight it! But she knew she wouldn't be able to for long.
Quickly she turned down a shaded alley. The darkness soothed her skin. She waited there, hoping that her burns weren't too bad. She listened as people walked by, counting their steps until they merged with another person's steps. Her throat burned with the need for blood. Curse her for being a newborn. Curse the wretched man that bestowed this horror onto her. She couldn't take it. She couln't take the pain. The need. The thirst.
Her breathing was shallow and she lunged out of the alley, grabbing the closest person and dragging them into the darkness of the shadows. Quickly, she silenced their scream, ripping their throat open as she feed. Blood spilled onto her and her clothes and when she was finished, she threw the body away from her own, sank down onto her side and curled up, shaking. What had Rose become?

Blood. It was faint, but Zane's sensitive nose picked up the scent. He looked around the busy street, to find it almost impossible to see the full area, women were starting to crowd around his door. Bothersome women that he wished would just leave him alone. He had to find it, he had to find the source of the blood. It was too weird that he'd smell it in this way. He looked at the vampires behind him, hopefully they would not follow. They still weren't old enough to fight of their urges for fresh blood. ”I have to step out” Was all that he said before the beautiful vampire who's skin seemed to glow in the vast sun's rays, burst out into the crowded street.
Zane quickly used the strength in his legs to jump onto the roof with ease. He landed on the roof softly and gracefully, before jumped roof to roof to find the vampire with the bloody human he was expecting to meet. The smell of blood got thicker, and stronger. It threatened to suffocate his lungs, and he could feel the slight desire for it tingle in the back of his mind. It had been days since he last fed. But no, he couldn't lose it here, he couldn't. All that he had achieved these last few months would have all gone to waste. He wouldn't allow that to happen. Not to mention he would put his new Coven in danger. No, he had find the vampire, and find out it's intentions. He knew that if it desired human blood so much, and made this city it's hunting grounds, it would cause problems for him and the coven. His family. He would not allow that.
Stronger and stronger the scent grew. Zane's face scrunched up slightly as he let out a slight hiss. He could not lose, he wouldn't. He fought of the desire to feed on the fresh human blood with all his will. He could smell the humans that were now unaware of his quiet presence's fresh blood that pulse around their body. Humans that would easily fall victim to his teeth, to his strength, to his speed. They would be powerless, it would only take a second. It was so tempting. But Zane continued to drive off the desire. He's feet suddenly came to a halt when he reached the alley. And there, he saw it. The confused and scared newborn, aside a bloody body that was once a human being. He'd have to now kill the human, he didn't want them to fall to the same curse.
Zane had his dagger in the right pocket of his jeans, he kept it there just in case a hunter found him, but it was rare that they ever did. He silently dropped down onto the cold and motionless body of the human, and quickly knelt down at it's head. He let out a slight sigh at the sight of the wound, this newborn had no idea what she was doing. The wound was large, and deep, it would take very few more seconds for this human to be placed under the same curse. So Zane acted quickly, he forced his dagger straight into the front of the corpses throat, and cut through it's skin, muscle, cartilage and bone with ease. There was a terrible crunching and smashing sound as the blade cut it's way through the persons neck. Zane closed his eyes and turned his head from the gruesome scene, to avoid the sight, and from getting any of the blood that sprayed upwards from getting on his face. That really wouldn't be a good thing right now.
When Zane was sure that this corpse would no longer be in any danger of becoming like the newborn next to it, he stood back up and cleaned his blade on the shirt of the corpse, and then replaced it into the hidden holster in his jeans. His soft brown eyes then turned to the traumatized as he reached out for her and crouched down next to her. He placed his right hand carefully on her left shoulder, and his lips curled up into a welcoming smile.
”Hey there, it's okay, don't be scared” His deep and alluring voice was warm, welcoming. He didn't want to further upset the poor girl. ”I'm Zane, what's your name?”

Desmond chuckled as Venus blushed. He had believed that he had been joking about rooming together. His reaction was priceless. He did not mention what he had done to the bedroom that was suppose to be his. He was going to let Venus see for himself. He wanted nothing more then to grab Venus' hand and take him up to their room and watch him unpack all of his stuff. The he could see every little thing that Venus owned. He wanted see if there was anything he could tease Venus about. When he could not wait anymore he grabbed Venus' hand and started to make his way to their room.
He stopped when he saw someone else going down the stairs. He had been so focused on unpacking he did not notice anyone else in the house. He was still surprised when he saw the female vampire do down the stair. He took a deep breath and looked at what he wanted to do. He did not like females, but he had told himself that he was going to try to trust females a little more after what had happened with his family. It was not like was going to be anymore to him than just a member of this coven. He looked at her with a smile.
He was about to say something when he smelt the faint scent of blood. He looked at Zane wondering if he had caught the scent as well. He seemed to be worried for them. The second he left the house Desmond closed the door making sure that no one else would leave it. He had not been effected that badly since he had just recently fed. He would keep them inside until Zane returned. He looked at Venessa trying to take his mind off of the scent of blood. "It is nice to meet you. If you have not guessed by now my name is Desmond. After Zane had just yelled it out loud only moments before." He was trying his best to keep his voice as friendly as he could.

Nala moved over the roof tops, the sun beating down on her black pelt relentlessly. She found that she could stand this sun, but it was extremely uncomfortable. Her skin seemed to bubble, but she knew from an accident that it would not kill her -- just make her want to scream. But, alas, the poor creature was dying of thirst, and had little experience with hunting -- so she didn't know enough to hide in the shadows or wait for dark. Instinct helped her a lot, but right now, instinct was doing nothing to save her life. Her strong paws kept her balanced on the edge of a roof, her long tail (longer than her body, even), positioned to keep her balanced as her golden eyes looked for someone of appropriate size. Finally, she locked on on a teenager, and watched as they came closer and closer. Then she sprung. She was a black blur in the sky as she landed on their shoulders and pulled them to the ground. Her teeth sank into their neck and poured into her mouth. People all around began yelling, but Nala found it hard to pay them any mind. Ordinary people didn't know anything about her thirst for blood, and she didn't have much to worry about, they would think this was just a freak animal attack. Nala's prey was already lifeless when someone swung at her with a baseball bat. It hit her in the muscle on her lower body. Hissing, she swung around in a circle and backed up. Her blood covered fangs shined dangerously in the light. She was much more dangerous now after feeding, and she could feel that power run thru her veins as she swatted in his direction with her claws. The whole scene seemed to be getting the attention from everyone in town. She didn't know how she did it, but some bit of instinct came in when she dodged a hunter arrow. My my my, what a pretty pelt you have! they muttered. Nala growled and crouched down low into a defensive position as the readied another arrow. Nothing was broken, but not only did Nala's thigh hurt, but their were people all around with items to hit her with. Her golden eyes looked around for an escape route before she let out a soft mew of desperation.

Venus continued to blush as Desmond grabbed his hand. In his mind, he thought about all of his belongings. Was there anything he didn't want Desmond to see? After a moment, he almost stopped cold in his tracks. There was something! A box smaller then the others, full of sketches and small paintings of Desmond. Good going Venus.
Venus looked up toward the staircase when a scent reached him. A female vampire was coming down the stairs. As he studied her, he kept Desmond in the corner of his eye. He knew that his lover was going to try to be more trusting towards females after that horrible experience at Desmond's form clan's base.
Which involved a fake Desmond thaqt was actually Desmond's brother, Desmond as a little kid, a scumbag for a father, Desmond's nice mother, and another messed up sibling of Desmond's family. They had escaped from the base many times only to be dragged back in. And at one point, Venus had been turned into a female human. Yes, you heard (or read?) that correctly.
When they had finally gotten away, Venus had heard why Desmond's family wanted the lovers to seperate. Apparently, it was the same reason for his distrust in females. Then Venus had hugged him and Desmond had kissed him and they started making out. On a public street. They went home quickly to....Well, I don't think I should say.
He face turned even redder at the thought of that night. To distract himself, he looked at the new vampire. "Hullo. My name is Venus Suzuki." he said, smelling the slight scent of blood. He was hungry. He would be fine for now but later he would have to find some blood. And the sooner the better. But first he needed to find that smaller box until Desmond wasn't home...

Vanessa watched in amazement as Zane left, seemingly in a hurry to. Well, that was nice of him. As soon as she gets downstairs to greet the others and to talk to him, he leaves without even acknowledging her. Not even a sideways glance! With a huff of irritation, she decided that she would deal with him when he got back. No needed to be in a bad mood now, as she was neeting the other two vampires in the coven. Supressing all feelings of rage, she turned to the other two with a friendly smile upon her face as they introduced themselves as Desmond and Venus. The actually really were a cute couple, now that she looked at them.
Hello Desmond. Venus. It's nice to meet you two. Zane told me about you guys, the vampire female said, a look of irritation coming over her features at the mention of Zane. My name is Vanessa Murphy. You guys can call me Nessa if you like, she said with a smile, before she suddenly became alert. Though the others around her might think its because she smelled blood and was about to go in a frenzy, that was not so much the case. Sure, she did smell the blood and she was thirsty. But, she was old enough now to be able to fight the urge till a later time. After all, she only drank animal blood. It wasn't as satisfying, but it worked and didn't make her feel as much like a monster.
No, she did not act this way because of blood. It was because the sounds of something outside of the house caught her attention. It sounded like a struggle and by the scents, it was animal vs. human. Though not just any animal, for it had the scent of a vampire. Interesting. Do you guys hear that, Vanessa asked the other two, making her way towards the door that one of the men currently blocked. Looking through he window of the door, her eyes came upon the sight of a young panther that was fighting against a big group of people. Blood dripped from the panthers lips. It must have fed. Gasping in shock, Vanessa jerked open the door before running outside, coming up with a plan to save the beautiful creature as she ran.
Samantha, there you are, she yelled in a stern voice, shouting the first name that came to mind as she waltzed over to the little cub and picked her up, acting mad to the eye but being extremely gentle with the creature. Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you. Just go along with it, ok, she said, whispering this into the panthers ear before facing the crowd. Vanessa sounded a chuckle, using her hypnosis upon the crowd to make them forget what they saw. Instead, they basically saw themselves killing the creature as they were trying to do. That would make them happy. Silently, she slipped back into the house she had come from, life resuming as normal after she had slipped safely inside. Well, that was dangerous. What were you thinking, feeding like that in broad day light, she asked the cub, talking sternly to it as she looked it in the eye. Thats dangerous. You could get hurt, she said before finally putting the cub down and petting it. Do you have a name, little one?

Rose remained curled up in that tight ball within the shadows hoping no one saw her. No one saw her do anything. She didn't want to be found. She knew it would be bad if she was. The very young vampire was shaking, her still dangerous, crimson eyes watering. She didn't want to be here. Not like this.
But she heard something. What did she hear? Footsteps. Quiet. From where? They had been different than the loud, clumsy footsteps of the humans. This was someone else. Something else. Slowly, silently she stood up, her legs shaking like a newborn lambs. She leaned back against the wall, her arms outstretched and her nails digging into the building behind her. And that's when she saw him. Zane. The older vampire. She couldn't help her reaction. She couldn't help baring her fangs, narrowing her crimson eyes and hissing threateningly. She didn't want to fight him. She didn't want to do that. As soon as she realized what she was doing, she ran deeper into the alley, hiding in the shadows.
Her eyes were glowing as she watched the other vampire kill what was left of her prey. Blood filled the air as if it wasn't bad enough. He had to make him bleed even more. The shaking vampire suddenly stopped and her breathing became heavy as she stared at the bloody mess the older vampire had created. What was he doing to her?! Every muscle in her body tensed and she moved into a crouch. She was ready to pounce on the now dead body but he blocked her path. He had placed himself in front of the newborn and her prey. Again, her fangs bared and she hissed. Her body began to shake and she collapsed onto her side, hugging her knees once again. She started to shake all over again. She didn't want to be here. She didn't want anyone to see her like this. What was happening to her? Why had he done this to her? Why couldn't her creator kill her like he did her family?
She calmed a little as he began to speak. She was still shaking just not as much. Though, with his hand on her shoulder, he could still fel her small, dainty form shake. Slowly, her eyes found their way to his face - to his welcoming smile. His name was Zane. What an odd name. She had asked her what her name was. But she couldn't seem t o find her voice. It took her a moment to respond, but soon, she did: "M-My name is... R-Rose," she stuttered slightly, gazing up at the older vampire. She was a little afraid of him but more afraid of what she had become. What was happening to her.
