The dog girl watched in awe as the scales were replaced. She loved magic but sadly, her spit was the closest she would ever get to magic. The dog girl just had no natural magic power. She nodded and carefully took the ruined scales, as if they were made from glass. Even thought the scales were ruined, they still looked beautiful to the dog girl. She followed behind Balenth into the main room, where a small crowd had come apart from the chaos and watched as he replaced the armor back into the case.
xXx
Roxiri was happy when Balenth returned. It was a good thing that nothing bad had happened, seeing as their luck didn't seem to be very good at the moment. But it was turning around since they had landed in Obscur, seeing as they had first met Reno almost the second they landed. "Good job. And it even seems that our little Umi is getting better at being a Healer. Now, if you don't mind my asking, why are you and Sora's friends here? It's a bit strange to get vistors at this time of night." The Guild Master said, looking over the case as the glass slid back into place. After all, the armor was only worn at Guild Battles or during times of war. Umi's dog tail wagged at the praise and smiled at the Master.
xXx
Reno also wondered why they were there. After all, she had escorted the two here but the halfblood hadn't asked for the reason. Maybe she should have...? She decided that it wasn't a big deal because they had probably just come to see Sora. After all, Reno didn't know that Sora was on a mission currently.

Balenth looked at the armor again smiling at his work and then feeling a pain in his arm again. He turned to the guild. "I also mended the enchantment so they should not wear off any time soon." He knew that the spell would now last longer. He wondered if he should have added another, but it was too late now and the armor was still powerful.
He looked at the Guild Master. Well at least they were getting down to business. Fixing the armor was just a side job which was just something he wanted to do. He considered whether or not to tell her straight out. He did not know what kind of reaction he would get. He decided to go with the truth since he had help them up in the past so they should know not to do something stupid. "I do not feel like sugar coating this so I will be straight. I am looking for a couple. One of them has the bloodline of a dragon within their veins. I need to find these two people. I was directed here by another dragon being told that you can help us." He stood there with a serious expression on his face.

Roxiri nodded as Balenth stated their reason. They were looking for Axel's real parents, not the people she had lived with when she had run away. Balenth had spoken to them already. The Guild Master thought for a moment and smiled a bit. "Ah yes, one of them used to be a member if we're talking about the same people. But she became pregnant and left. Said they were heading away from here, into the mountains. Something about going back to where it started." the Master said after a moment, a pondering thought left on her face.
xXx
Reno wasn't fazed when Balenth stated the reason. What surprised her was the great luck they had. The Master knew one of the people personally. But what about mountains and going backto where it started? Reno looked at Balenth, wondering if the words meant anything to him. Because it clearly drew a blank for the halfblood and shapeshifter.

Balenth knew of only one place in the mountains, but he did not understand what the Guild Master meant by where it started. He was missing so much of his memories that he could not put the information together. He also did not want to go back to that mountain not yet. Something was telling him not to go. Screaming for him to not go. A look of hurt covered his face but he did notice it. He was trying to figure out what he they couple meant going back where it started. He wondered if it had to do with that female that he thought about once in a while. He tried to think more but something was blocking him from knowing more.
Balenth walked towards a seat and sat down. He was wondering what could have happened at the mountain that it would make his supposed descendants go there. He looked at Roxiri not knowing what to say since he knew so little about it. "I think I know where, but we can not go there. Something tells me not to go. It must have something to do with my missing memories." He did not want to say anymore. He just wanted everything to remain calm so he did not have another blackout.

Roxiri looked at Balenth as well, worry in her face. Balenth seemed in some sort of pain. And it seemed as if something was trying to make the other Balenth come out. The...real?...one. The other one had said he was the real one but what was this Balenth then? She walked over to the seated dragon and looked at him, wondering why he looked so pained.
"We don't have to go. After all, Axel might be better off not knowing where she came from. I mean, I would be better-Nevermind. Anyway, we can go when you've regained your memories." Roxiri said, knowing better then to say what she knew about his memories. And she didn't feel like talking about her past.

Balenth looked at Roxiri. She was suggesting that they just stop after this. The could not stop. They had already gone so far. He need to find out more. He looked at Roxiri. "I want to find them, they might have clues to my past. I want to know what happened to me. I want to know who the woman is that appears in my thoughts is." He also did not want to say, there might be some clue to his blackouts as well. He got up. and looked at her. "It feels terrible to walk around and meeting people who you might know but can not remember them." He could not explain what it felt like to live like that. The worst part is he could feel how close his memories were and yet he could not see them like he wanted.

Roxiri wondered if she should stop him from visting the mountains from her memory flashes. After all, that was where the most horrible memory resided, in the cave where Balenth's family had been slaughtered. It really was where everything started. The shapeshifter decided that if she tried to hold the dragon back he would simply go anyway alone.
"Alright, we'll go for your and Axel's sake." Roxiri said, wondering if Reno would be willing to come as well. Probably not since it seemed the night was growing old.
xXx
Reno shook her head when Roxiri looked at her. The halfblood belonged in the city, not the wilderness. "Good luck you guys. I'll be staying behind on this one. After all, I have a gig tomarrow and if I'm sleepy I might just let my blood get into the singing." she said. Her Siren blood crept into her voice when she was tired or sometimes ill. And, besides the time Reno had saved Siasha, the boss didn't like it when she also put the customers to sleep.

Balenth looked at Roxiri and smiled. They were going to go, however he decided that if he felt like he was about to lose himself he would just leave. He did not have to hold himself back. He got up and walked to the Guild Master. "Thank you for your assistance. I was wondering where we could find a place to stay for the night. I would ask you but it looks like a lot of the members do not like me being here." He held back a yawn as he said that. He did not want to how he was tired. He had a very busy day with events that people could only imagine. He needed to rest before they continued.
He did not feel that is would take some time to fly to that village and mountain and it would be even later when they arrived. He did not want to disturb the people while they slept. He had disturbed enough people for tonight. He then turned to Reno. "It was a pleasure to meet you. I hope to get to hear you sing sometime. I really want to hear the songs of this current age." He then walked to Roxiri and turned towards the Guild Master. She should be able to direct them to a place that they could stay.

Roxiri waved as Reno did before leaving the Guild building. The Halfblood was probably heading home, ready to go sleep the day away. Roxiri let herself yawn, covering her mouth with her hand. Ever since Axel had told her that weird myth she couldn't help but cover her mouth. After all, if the myth was true her soul could jump out. Roxiri had already had something like that, so she didn't feel like repeating that.
The Guild Master smiled and listed off nearby places that they could stay. Reno's place was much too small, seeing as the 2nd floor where she lived held all or most of the staff in the cafe. That and her roomate scared Roxiri. She was a quiet kitsune with black hair, black fox ears, and fox tail. The roomate's eyes were a dark crimson, the color of blood. Reno's roomate was also quiet and read a lot, but Reno seemed to like her.
"Also, before you leave tomarrow I have a favor to ask of you two. I need a mission done and no one is willing to do it. Thanks~" the Guild Master said, turning around before she got a reply. Roxiri just nodded, noticing how tired she was. Even if she might have nightmares and memory attacks during the night, she had to sleep.

Balenth looked at the Guild Master with surprise as she told them they had a job. He did not work for the guild yet he wanted to know more about this job. He wanted to show up those in the guild that were looking down on him. After all he taught them some of their tricks. He looked at the guild members and smiled. He could not wait to see their faces when he came back with the job completed. He did have an advantage that they did not. He had never been here so people did not know his face under normal circumstances. He then followed the Guild Master. He wanted the information before he left. He wanted to know the information on the job before he left.
He caught up to the Guild Master. "Mind if you tell me the information now? It will give me time to plan tonight and complete the job tomorrow." He had no idea what it was, but if no one wanted to do it it had to be dangerous. It only made this more fun. He had not done a job similar to this in a long time.

The Guild Master smiled as Balenth caught up to her. He was a clever one to ask about the mission he and Roxiri would be assigned. "Well, we need an item recovered and given to someone. Apparently a book titled "Way to Dawn" used to belong to Lord Namikura but a worker of his gave it to Lord Tunuke. But that book is important and is the only copy. So all you have to do is sneak into the mansion belonging to Lord Tunuke, get the book, and return it to Lord Namikura's mansion." the girl explained, wondering if the dragon and shapeshifter could handle it. If not, she could send Sora after them if they didn't return.
Roxiri followed after Balenth and shifted into air so she wouldn't get caught in between people. Some people who saw her shift stared at the space where she used to be. At this she raised her eyebrow. Was being a shapeshifter that strange or rare? Actually, now that Roxiri thought about it, she had never seen any other shapeshifters. she reached Balenth and the Guild Master as she held out blueprints, probably for wherever they had to go.

Balenth listened to the job. It did not seem that hard, why did no one want to do it. There had to be something that was wrong with the job. He was not going to do it if he did not know everything about the job. Even missing piece of information would be a bad thing. "What's the catch. It seems too easy of a task for no one wanting to take it." Even while he was waiting for an answer the was thing of a way to get into the house of the Lord. He probably had plenty of guards so the normal route would not be an option. He would have to go through the roof or the front door. He wondered which one would be the most simple to complete. He needed to see the place before he decided which way to enter was the best. Even so he had to prepare for both ways. For that he needed another outfit for his partner. Of course he would not ask for the outfit until he had more information on th target and the home that he lived in.

The Master smiled even more at Balenth. He was too smart for his own good. "Alright, alright. Let's just say that the Lord is pretty paraniod. He has top guards like Sirens, Demons, Angels, Dragons, Mages, you name it. And, as you can see on the blueprints, there are plenty of traps that the guards already know about. So mostly, I'm sending you to a screwed up mansion with bloodthristy guards. Make sure to have fun for me~" the Guild Master said, winking at the end. She would have accepted the mission but no one would partner up with her. That and she already had way too much crap to finish before even thinking about accepting more missions.
Roxiri gawked at how easily the Guild Master explained why none of the skilled people here (much more then herself) hadn't accepted the impossible mission. The shapeshifter reverted back to her human form, biting her lip with concern. Could Balenth and her really do it? Wait, he was taking her right? If Balenth went on his own he would probably become the other side of himself and from what Roxiri had learned, that was not a good thing.
Roxiri decided that wether Balenth wanted her to or not, she was coming. I mean, how hard could this mission really be? Who was Roxiri kidding!? It sounded impossible to her still.

Balenth looked at the Master and then smiled at Roxiri. Sneaking in would be to dangerous, h was going to have to use an alias. "I'm going to need an outfit for Roxiri. I need her in a maid outfit. That is if she wants to come with me." A plan was forming in his mind as spoke. He chuckled at what he was planning. He was not going to tell anything. It would only make the reactions more natural. That and he just wanted to remain in control for this job. Something he had been having trouble with today. He rubbed his hands together thinking of all the nobles that existed in his time. He needed one that was old and could be recognized, but obscure enough that no one would track the family down.
He started to walk in a circle as he thought about what he was going to do with his name. As he walked past those who looked at him with distrust he was tempted to steal their wallet. He decided against it not wanting to cause any trouble with guild members. "Oh and I need come cuffs and a chain to link them to."

The Guild Master smiled as Balenth asked for handcuffs and a maid outfit. She pointed towards a nearby door, one that was slightly open. "You'll find costumes, disguises, and props in there. Just get Roxiri's measurements and ask Evee if she had one in stock. The cuffs and chain should be somewhere on one of the walls. Now if you shall excuse me, I need to go get some information out of a very stubborn person. Thanks again for the help~" the Master said, turning on her heel and heading towards a set of stairs.
Roxiri looked at Balenth and one could swear the girl had a gaint sweatdrop on the side of her head for a moment. What was this about a maid outfit and handcuffs? The shapeshifter had a feeling the plan the dragon ws coming up with wasn't very pleasant for her. "Balenth....why are you freaking everyone out?" Roxiri asked as some guild members stood clear of the dragon.
