The day was beautiful, Lexi noted, as she trapsed through the foliage of the forest that she currently walked through. The sun shone through the dark greens leaves and cause the ferns of the undergrowth to shine in the sunlight. The trees were far enough apart to be able to see up towards the sky, the endless blue visible and the clouds that lazy drifted by looked as soft as cotton. It was truly beautiful. The quiet girl coulden't help but smile as the light breeze played with her long flaxen locks, the sunlight making it glow. It all contrasted well with her blue dress and her lavender eyes.
But, the young girl couldn't stop to marvel at the sight for too long, as she had not yet reached her destination. Her tan cat ears twitching to try and catched a whisper of the location she was searcing for as her nose tried hard to catch the scent of the running water of the Falls that she had much of. She had heard of the beauty of the Falls and she had wanted to see them for herself. And, if they were as beautiful as the wood that surrounded them, they surely would be a sight to see.
Finally, her large feline ears caught the sounds of the rushing water. Catching the sound, she moved in the direction that the sounds came, the sounds getting louder and louder as she neared them. Finally, the trees parted and her eyes finally layed upon the wonderful sight of the fast rush of the tons of water that came down. Thankfully though, she had come upon one of the smaller ones, so it was not extremely loud and and there was a small pool of water beneath it that sat calmly and sparkled with the sunlight that bounced and danced off its surface.
With a look of awe, Lexi gazed upon the sight in awe, Lexi took slow steps towards the pool. Looking into the crystal clear water, she could see the shiny fish that swam beneath its surface. Smiling slightly, she kicked off her shoes off and stuck her aching feet into the cool water, enjoying the cool sensation as she began to relax. It was nice to finally have a slight repreve from running and hiding all the time. She was over come with pure calm and joy. She even began to hum a cheerful tune after not doing so for quite some time.

Roxas swam at the bottom of the pool with a few fish, boredom setting in. He didn't want to travel or stay there. Roxas poked on the of the fish, which nibbled his fish before darting off. His tail flicked itself in amusement as the fish darted back to nibble on his finger. It was amusing for a few more times before the fish gave up trying to eat the mermaid and swam off.
He felt a slight vibration of the water and he looked up to see something insert their feet into the water. Roxas slowly swam up to the top, about two feet in front of the person, and stuck his head out of the water, looking at the person. He had probably frightened the Neko by seeming to appear out of nowhere.

Haseo made his way through the area. He had come with her sister after she had told them they had to leave the city fast. When Shino said something he knew that she was right and that she should do what she said. She had after all saved him after the so many time he has encountered strange people who said they would help him. He had no reason to doubt them, but Shino said that she was bad so he listened. He had followed Shino out of the city and the forest. He was ahead of Shino enjoying the area that he was in.
He made his way through the trees looking at every little thing. He stopped when he saw a bug on a tree and went to touch it. He chased after it as it flew away. He laughed when he could not catch it. Haseo continued to move forward wondering what he would find next. He was so interested in his surroundings that he did not notice that he had lost Shino from behind him. When he saw a squirrel he started to chase after it. He watched it up a tree and sighed. He was not being able to catch it.
When he heard the sound of a waterfall he made his way towards the water. He was getting thirsty and wanted something to drink. He drank some of the water not taking notice of the other creatures there. When he drank his fill he looked into the water. Thinking he saw a tail of a fish me entered the water and pounced onto Roxas holding his tail. "I caught a fish Shino," he called back even though he did not know that she was no longer behind him. His stomach growled stating he was hungry. His two tails wagged in anticipation of getting to eat a large fish.

The ancient vampire walked along the river, following it's lead to a small waterfall. During her life time, she had been to this spot quite often. Her feet almost mimicked her first steps when she was just a young kid. All the memories she held here brought a soft smile to her full, red lips. She wore her normal black dress that fluttered loosely to her ankles with the slit up her right leg to her thigh. She had just finished a little show yesterday.
The thought of singing in front of many people caused her eyes to close. She loved the attention and feeding from the emotions she got from her songs brought her joy. Singing was the only thing she really loved now.
Please take me away Take me to happiness...
She began to sing her intoxicating lullaby though no one was around her. At least she thought. She was growing close to the waterfall and her beautiful voice would surly give her away before she made an appearance.
Though her eyes were closed, she did not falter once as she descended from the hill side and wondered to the oasis from the small waterfall. Suddenly, the many scents hit her and her eyes opened, her song stopping. That was when she saw the many neko and the mermaid. Softly, she smiled to show she did not mean them harm and simply, she said: "Hello there."

As Lexi sat there, feet dangling in the water, she was in pure bliss. The sun shone down from above, warming her skin. However, there was a light breeze that dampened the heat of the sun, aided by the cool temperature of the water. As she sat there, humming, she was over come by a sense of sereness that she had not felt for a rather long time. However, like most times, her little moment of joy and relaxation could not last long before it was taken ahold of and smashed into little bits. For, not long after she had gotten there, a loud splash was heard, startling her.
Opening her eyes, she looked to the front of her, seeing two long tails. Attached to these tails was a little boy that had seemingly caught a fish and was calling out for someone named Shino. But, what he thought was a fish, Lexi noticed was a mermaid. That poor mermaid! But, however much Lexi was surprised by the scene, she uttered not a word, as was not in her nature. But, just as she stared at the scene, a BEAUTIFUL voice entered her large feline ears, followed by a beautiful lady that had just entered the scene.
The woman didn't seem surprised by the odd scene. Instead, she smiled and greeted them. Um, hello, Lexi uttered quietly as she observed the woman. She was really pretty, but there was something about her that was different. Something different in her scent. Then it hit her; this woman was a vampire. However, Lexi herself didn't feel any harm and she trusted her cat-like senses. If this woman was a danger, she would know it. And, she offered up a smile towards the woman in greeting, before turning to watch whatever else was happening.

Roxas yelped as someone pounced onto him. His tail was being held but he was still afloat. "I'm not a fish! he yelled, turning his attention to the Neko on his fish tail. Roxas felt like he was being fished! In a single movement of his body, the mermaid twisted his body over so the Neko would go into the water.
But before the Neko could enter the water, he scooped the boy into his arms so that it looked like he was hugging the Neko. Roxas didn't want to drown the poor kid. He looked up as he heard a voice of another person, a woman this time. He didn't reply, making sure to keep the kid's head above the water.

Haseo meowed in shock when he was flipped into the wanter. It would have been less of a shock if he had not just realized that he had not caught a fish. He did not understand what this person was. His thoughts were wondering what he was able to eat him or if he would eat him. He smelt like a fish and part of him was a fish. When Roxas hugged him and kept him there Haseo licked him to see if he would taste good if he ate him. He tasted like a fish, so the man had to be some type of fish.
When he heard the person singing he forgot that he wanted to eat the mermaid in front of him. He wanted to see who had sung the song, be he thought that if she was dangerous she would have attacked by now. He looked at the mermaid as he kept his head above the water. "But you taste like a fish," he said not understanding what Roxas was. He wondered why Shino had yet to save him. He then realized that he had lost Shino. His eye teared up at the thought.

It was quite an odd sight to take in, Evlin thought after she had greeted everyone. A mermaid being attacked by a neko and another resting their feet in the water. What an odd group. And adding the fact that a vampire - no, a psyche vampire which was a very rare breed - had just joined their party made it even weirder. Though, it just made her place her hands up to her mouth as she giggled lightly, her eyes closing in delight. "How adorable," she commented before turning to the only one that had replied to her greeting. "My name is Evlin Deolinda but you may call me whatever you wish. It's a pleasure to meet you all," her voice was soft but cheery as she spoke to everyone once again.
When her soft gaze had fallen upon Haseo, she noticed that his eyes were starting to water. "Awww... What's wrong little one?" she took a step toward the oasis but made sure to steer clear of the whater. She didn't want to get wet.

Alexis could only watch the scene before her unfold as the young neko was put underwater, surprised by the startled mermaid that he had caught. However, she watched as the mermaid made sure to keep the neko's head above the water, not wanting to drown the poor creature. What a considerate thing for the merman to do. After being attacked by this young neko, he didn't want to hurt it. Lexi could tell she was going to like this mermaid. But, she also noted that the little cat-dude was beginning to tear up. He's crying, she said bluntly, with out emotion, as she stared at the mermaid. However, she didn't say anything else to the two in the water.
Instead, she turned her attention to the vampire of the group. She had said her name was Evlin. Yet, she had said it in such a cheery voice, so unlike many other vampires. This one was special, different from all the others that she had ever incountered. She was gentle and happy, compared to the quiet and broody vampires that Lexi had ever met. Deciding to be polite, the blond neko addressed the older woman. My name is Lexi Moon. It's nice to meet you, Evlin, she said, a nod towards the woman in acknowledgement. However, she sat quietly after this little encounter, turning once more towards the water to see the scene unfold. She wondered if the mermaid would feel guilty.

Roxas looked down at the little neko in his arms, concern clear in his face. Had the mermaid hurt him somehow? Even though Roxas heard the other two creatures present begin to speak to each other, he didn't attempt to speak with them or listen to what they were saying. His attention was all focused on the child in his arms, who seemed ready to cry.
"Are you alright, little neko?" Roxas said, lowering his head slightly so he could have a better view of the kid in his arms. What had caused the neko to suddenly begin to cry? Roxas couldn/t help but feel repsonsible for the child's crying. He continued to not listen to the females around them, watching the smaller male in his arms.

Tears started to flow down his cheeks and into the water. He was crying because Shino was going to yell at him when she found him. She had told Haseo not to leave her side and he had. He always did this. He placed his hands on his eyes ans covered his tears. He did not want to get yelled at by Shino, but he still wanted to be around her. "I'm lost," he managed to stay between his sobs. He really was lost. Without Shino he did not know where to go. It always took him a couple days to get a location that one half a day away. He got distracted again.
"I want Shino," he said as he continued to cry. "I want my sister." He did not mention that if his sister saw them in such a pose that she would try to kill the mermaid. She was way to protective of her brother. He started to hiccup as he cried some more. He could not help but feel sad that he was separated from his sister.

She knew that the young neko was crying, she wanted to know why. She could feel the emotions radiating from each of the creatures before her and the little one's seem to be the strongest. After he had said that he wanted his sister, Evlin looked around. She could only feel the presence of Lexi and the other two but she would know if his sister came close to them.
"Aww, come now, little one. I'm sure your sister isn't too far off. Where did you last see her?" Evlin tried to consult the young neko. She wanted him to be happy - for everyone to be happy.
She stepped closer to the edge of the water, extending a hand out to him. She was offering to help him out of the oasis with a soft, sweet smile painting her lips. She loved to help people.

Aww, the poor dear, Lexi said as the little neko began to cry about how he missed his sister. Don't worry, we'll help you find your sister. She can't be that far off, the golden-locked nekomata said Haseo, not being able to not be effected by his cuteness. Psh. As if Lexi would saw or do anything like this. It didn't even regester in her mind how to even react this way. She didn't think of acting outside of what she would in this situation if this happened to any other creature or being, no matter the age.
And that was, to just sit there and watch. That's right; all Lexi did was sit and watch what was going on, noting the kindness of both the pretty lady and the merman that currently held the young cat-boy hostage in the water. They were both so kind to a stranger that had never even met before, one worrying about if they had hurt the little creature the other being very mother-like in reassuring the little kid. And, even though she hardly felt this emotion, she could feel a tinge of jealousy start to eat a little at her emotional state.
I mean, she couldn't help it, even though she was hardly ever jealous of anybody. These two beings, strangers for all she knew, cared so much about this little kid after they had just met him. After she had had to put up with parents that had tried to sell her, she discovered there really was nobody who ever cared for her. The very thought began to make her sad, sweeping away the jealousy and replacing it with a deeply imbedded sadness that would never go away.
And so, trying to deture herself from her sad thoughts, she began to look up at the sky, marveling at how blue it seemed to be today. She leaned back, just watching; the clouds, the leaves, the birds. Anything to take her mind off of the road that she was about to lead herself down. A light sigh escaped her person as she thought about how good it would be to just be able to fly away from everything and never have to worry about anything that would happen. If only.

Roxas looked down at the little neko in his arms, unable to offer comfort. The mermaid was never good at helping people or comforting them because of many reasons. When the woman, Evlin was it?, held her hand out towards the small boy in his arms Roxas didn't want him to go. They would all leave him here in the pond. He was stuck in the water until it rained again.
If they went to look for Shino, Roxas would be all alone again. But it was the right thing to let them help him find Shino. Roxas moved towards the land, allowing the neko to get out of the water. Roxas would be fine. After all, he was used to being alone. But the neko needed his sister. So the mermaid would let the neko go.
"I wish I could help as well with you three, but it seems I'm stuck here. Sorry..."Roxas said, a sad tone tied into his voice. The mermaid coughed quietly, not having wanted them to hear him like that. He didn't need or want the pity from these people, no matter how nice it was. Roxas thought he wanted them to leave, but he knew deep down he didn't want them to. It would mean being alone again.

Haseo stopped crying as the people around him offered to find his sister. He looked at them glad that they wanted to help him. He knew that he could not find her on his own since he did not know when he last saw her. He knew that he was with her when he left the city with her, but he did not know where he saw the butterfly. He started sniffle when he thought that he had left Shino behind. He really missed her and wanted to see her. He held Roxas closer as he told him to leave. He did not want to leave him behind. He wanted to show Shino what he had caught and then gotten caught by. He did not want to leave the mermaid alone since he still wanted to eat him as his next meal. He still did not know the difference between a fish and a mermaid.
He looked Evlin and shook his head. He was not leaving Roxas. If he had been thinking straight he could have just asked a ghost to find Shino and tell him where she was. But he was not thinking normally and he did not think about it. He also did not remember the warning that his sister told him often. Do not trust other people so easily. He hugged Raoxas harder not wanting to let him go. "I don't wanna lose my food. I want Shino to see what I caught." He knew somewhere deep inside that Shino was safe or he would be feeling much worse than he was. She also had those two blades that she could use with some skill. If anyone was in danger while lost it was Haseo.
