Even though he couldn’t see, Vincent stood tall as he held his long blade out in front of him. Light shone off of the silver blade as it’s wielder kept it still, obviously used to fighting with the blades weight. Vincent inhaled deeply, calming his breathing rate as he awaited for the next attack, another arrow shot through the flames and was well aimed. The arrow was aimed for Vincent’s neck ”Protección” the crippled angel muttered to himself seconds before the arrow threatened to impale his neck and kill him. But the second the arrow head touched his delicate looking skin, it recoiled off as if it had hit a brick wall and fell to the floor at Vincent’s feet. A smile spread across his lips at his accomplishment, he hadn’t used this spell in such a long time, and doubted whether or not he could use it effectively anymore.
”Worry about the one you love, Aeron, not of me. I can handle these humans on my own. Please, escape here with Siasha, I would not be able to forgive myself if you both got hurt, I will catch up to you when I am finished here.” Although Vincent spoke to the angel currently stood next to him, he did not once turn his head to who he was addressing. Instead, his head remained motionless as it seemed as if he was staring into the wall of flame in front of him, watching for movement, and although just seconds ago his wing had been punctured, now pain could be detected in Vincent’s voice now, as if he no longer felt it.
The yell of a blood thirsty man erupted of the roar of flames as a man charged forwards to the angels after breaking his ranks. “GET BACK HERE YOU FOOL!” Another shouted at the crazed man, who was quite obviously not going to listen to his superior’s orders. Vincent’s face became emotionless as he watched the large man bound through the fire, unharmed, they obviously had a mage in their ranks who was protecting them from the flames. The man was slightly larger than Vincent, and was wielding a large broadsword; he also wore dark brown leather armour as he charged for Vincent, his sword over his head ready to strike, obviously not seeing any danger in a blind angel.
Vincent, almost casually, stepped around the man as he swung his large sword for Vincent’s head. The blind angel made it look almost easy as the second that the man’s blade collided with the floor and sent a soft hum of ringing metal through the air, had in just a few seconds, turned so that he was behind the man. Vincent waited for the man to turn around again, seeing no honour in killing a man from behind, and the man’s face lit up with fury and bloodlust. He quickly swung his large sword to the right, slashing wildly at Vincent’s abdomen, and it was obvious that this man was not used to the blade, and it caused him to almost topple over as Vincent coolly stepped backwards, just out of the blades radius. Vincent shook his head at the man’s as he ducked under another heavy swing for his neck, causing the man to once again stumble to the side at the weight of his oversized blade. ”Have you not heard of the expression, a sword must feel like an extension of your own arm, Sir?” Vincent lowered his own silver blade so it rest at his side as he smile once again.
The man however, looked less pleased as he let out another shriek of a war cry, and lifted the sword once again over his head to strike at Vincent. But Vincent was too quick, lighter on his feet and used to his katana as he quickly lunged its tip into the man’s chest, puncturing his heart. Vincent’s face became emotionless once more as blood slowly trickled down the silver of his blade.

Much to Siasha's own dismay, she found that she squealed softly as Aeron all but nose-dived towards the ground. Clutching her own fingers, her arms wrapped around his neck, Siasha slammed her eyes shut. Even in her own days of flight Siasha had never attempted such a dangerous maneuver. Girls had a tendency to be more cautious about life threatening endeavors. The Hell Angel bit back the feeling of nausea that accompanied being pulled up right so quickly and tried to focus on what Aeron was saying. It was slightly hard to manage through all the shouting and the roaring of fire -- a fire that had died a bit but was a fire nonetheless. "I'll stay away from them, so long as they stay away from me." Siasha uttered, casting wary glances around herself as the softest tingle ran across her skin. The angel was in a very deadly state now, and it only heightened her cautiousness. Siasha, of course, couldn't see beyond Aeron's wing and apparently didn't have the common sense to look out behind herself. A shadow grew in the flames, stalking closer to the oblivious Hell Angel with intentions worse than evil.

Aeron looked over at Vincent for a moment, torn between staying to help and leaving. No, he couldn't leave his fellow angel here, no matter how powerful he was. Aeron wouldn't be able to face himself if Vincent died here, leaving only the two angels on their own. Instead of speaking over the roars of humans and flames, Aeron turned his head back towards the general direction of the human Hunters, adjusting his grip on the sword's hilt. No, he wasn't going to abandon the fallen angel, even with the spells to protect himself.
He tensed as a man broke rank, invisible for the flames were inbetween both sides, and came running at Vincent. He almost went after the man but as the blind male side stepped easily, Aeron decided to only intervene if something happened to turn the tables against his fellow angel. A moment later another came out of the flame, obviously following the lead of the first crazed man. He was dressed similarly but brandished a set of daggers. He looked at Aeron, eyes clouded with something that the angel couldn't place in the few moments before the man leapt at him.
Aeron didn't move backwards, not wanting to trip over Siasha in the process of evading the sharp daggers. Aeron put up his blade, the man falling on it while only managing to put a small gash in the angel's arm. Warm scarlet liquid, the same color as Aeron's hair and wings, sprayed him randomly as the man stood there for a moment, dumbfounded, before his eyes dulled and the hell angel pushed the man away with his sword.

Vincent’s sharp silver bladed Katana cut through the crazed mans armour and body with ease as he slowly pulled it from the man’s body and slashed it through the air so the blood flew off of it and landed on the ground. Vincent slowly turned back around and focused his magic on his magical field. He pushed it out even further than before, so that he could ‘see’ the entire width and length of the fire now. He was suddenly alarmed as he saw the one black shadow creeping up on an unaware Siasha, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to get there in time if he used his legs.
Vincent cussed under his breath as he looked at his wings, slowly spreading them out behind him. Pain shot to his head as he stretched his right wing and he hissed out in pain, the arrow had pierced through his nerve, but he had no other choice, neither Siasha nor Aeron had noticed the threat on the female angel. Vincent leaned his body forwards as he turned towards where he knew Siasha to, know that the instant that he left the floor, he would become blind, and would have to guess on where to land. He waited for as long as he possibly could as he tried to judge the distance and ignore the protesting pain of his right wing, but had a very short space of time. He quickly launched his entire body forwards as he spread his wings and flapped them down just once. A hard and powerful gust of wind caught beneath them as he sped through a small amount of the flames towards Siasha and the man stalking her. But he got the distance and speed wrong and crashed right into the man and crumpled into the ground. Both the man and Vincent smashed into the ground hard and rolled in the flames before stopping in a heap of the floor. Although at first, the man had hissed out in pain as Vincent had hit him, he was quickly silenced as the shock of the force had killed him. The hard fall had caused Vincent to scream out in pain, his wings were mangled and broken in several places, they were severely ripped and torn and looked like a tree that had been destroyed a tornado.
Vincent’s mind was clouded with pain as he lay on the floor, screaming out in agony. Some of the men still motionless in the fire looked terrified at him as his horrible cries drowned out even the loud roar of the fire. But he had done what he needed, and for this, Vincent was glad. He had saved his new friend from being injured or maybe even killed by her silent predator, despite the fact that he himself was now bleeding in several places and in some, quite heavily. He very slowly and shakily rose to his feet, his right hand still clasped around his silver blade, hissing and groaning in agony as he did. He had a job to do, and although it hurt so badly, he had to fight through it, he had to help his friends fight for their lives.
When he was finally stood straight and still, his eyes widened. He had realised that the magic protection he had put around himself, had worn away during his flight through the flames and the crash into the ground. A young teenager, who was with the group, although utterly terrified, had managed to sneak up behind Vincent and had run him through with a small and thin blade. Vincent cursed his recklessness as he felt the blade slowly pull out from his lower back, but considered himself, lucky that the boy was so inexperienced and scared, as he had not hit any of Vincent’s vitals with the sword. Blood slowly dripped from the corner of Vincent’s mouth as he slowly turned to face the boy, his magical field slowly forming a small bubble around himself and the boy, a lot weaker than before. Vincent felt the bandages that were around his eyes slowly slip and fall to the floor as it revealed his pure white and dead eyes. The boy backed away from the sight of the broken angel, terror filling his body as he dropped his sword and fell backwards at the angels feet.

Siasha jumped, feeling a harsh burning sensation as an ember landed on the bare skin of her shoulder. Instinctively, she reached up with her hand to touch the spot, turning her body slightly. It was only then that she noticed that shadow, whose features were becoming more and more apparent. Turning so that her body faced the figure, she anchored her feet and steeled her body for impact. Her hair compromised her vision as a gust of wind tore by, and only after she had the chance to push it away was she able to see what had exactly caused it. Siasha watched in horror as the two fell to the ground, cries of pain echoing in her ears. Though slightly torn by her desire to stay near Aeron, Siasha nonetheless tore through the flames and towards Vincent. Everyone was slightly shocked by the death of the other man, but their shock only lasted so long. Someone, presumely male but not necessarily, jumped towards both Siasha and Vincent. Stopping directly in front of Vincent, Siasha used what little reflexes she had to duck beneath a knife. Using one hand to balance on the ground, the Hell Angel used the other to reach for the mans arm. The softest light shined red, glowing dimly just under her finger tips. The poor soul seemed to choke, then fell to the ground, writhing in agony. Within seconds another dead body lay at her feet. Turning back towards her new-found companion, a small click turned in her mind as her power was put away for use at another time. Completely disregarding the earlier incident, Siasha turned and helped Vincent to his feet. Her delicate fingers touched his cheek, "You mustn't worry too much about me, I may look weak, but I am not a weakling." Turning back to her enemies, her eyes flashed almost dangerously. She could just see their eyes flicker nervously, and one or two of them took a step or two back. Intimidation. Such a well-known thing and yet so rarely used correctly.

Aeron didn't notice the shadow either as another enemy came at him moments later. Instead the hell angel found himself calming down considerably at the familar motions of the battle. The humans seemed to unexperienced, overly large swords or unbalanced other weapons that never seemed to move the right way, and not planning this well. The fire was quickly spreading, ringing around both of the groups as smoke filtered throughout the air, which would soon be hard to breathe to the humans and then to the angels. No, these humans were going to either die by attacking the three or by their own stupidity of not thinking through startng a fire in a grass-filled area. Aeron was only snapped out of his movements after something whizzed by, dangerously close to his open wing. His first thought was of Siasha and he turned around, wing snapping closed so he could without knocking over the fellow angel. The man behind him, another hunter, was thrown back as the scarlet wings reopened in front of him, pushing him into the fire. Cries filled the air and Siasha rushed off towards the fallen angel. Aeron didn't follow, turning backwards as another hunter rushed him. The ranks of the humans seemed to be broken by now, smart ones having fled from the fire while the either oblivous or just plain stupid followers had stayed behind and were now attacking randomly. Most humans, though, weren't even able to reach the small group. Most were on the ground, flesh burning because they had simply fallen or been accidently pushed off into the flame by people in a rush to kill the hell and fallen angels. Only a small group remained, stupid enough to stick around and lucky enough to not burn. Aeron turned to Siasha and Vincent, wondering how then hell they would be getting out of the fire. Not only was Siasha unable to fly but now Aeron doubted Vincent could even walk. Now the problem was not the people, but the escape. The hell angel looked around in the smoke and flame, looking for any clear path."Siasha, Vincent! We have to get out here soon!" the scarlet-haired male yelled over human's cries and the roars of both the fire and Vincent.

”Magnifico curar.”
[/b] The bloody and broken angel muttered to himself, as his powerful magic erupted in a green glow around him, which slowly began to stitch his wounds together. He winced as the sound of bones breaking could be heard from his wings as they slowly started to reposition themselves and heal their breaks, but the tattered feathery mess did not change. His dull silvery eyes seemed to scan the area as he watched the dark figures of the humans either run, or group together to plan their final assault on the three angels. He could feel his magic reserves slowly started to run out now too, as the healing spell that he had just cast was eating it steadily away because of the sheer extent of his injuries, and the power of the spell. ”Aeron, I'm going to need your help soon. My magic is starting to run out and without it I will be thrown into absolute darkness. Do you think, if I am able to conjure up a beast that can get us out of here, that you'd be able to get us all to safety?“[/b] Vincent's silver eyes turned slowly towards the male angels as he spoke, though his face was emotionless. He didn't want to put Aeron in a position where he felt that he had to do as Vincent asked, and also doubted his capabilities of a successful summon. He had never been able to something big enough to carry the three people before, and hasn't tried summoning at all since he was cast down from the upper world.
