The angel sat motionlessly in one of the few trees of Silver Flats. One of her legs were pulled up to her chest while the other hung in mid-air. Siasha had been here before -- many time. Her course of work had lead her to places all over the world, and ther was little she had not seen. Though, the beauty of the grass at night was still a wonder to her eyes. It sparkled in the moonlight, and waved gracefully in the wind. The stars twinkled like little diamonds in the night sky, and the moon was bright and full. Siasha had been there since sunset, and had watched the setting sun cast beautiful colors across the heavens. She rested her head back on the tree and stared upwards. It still saddened her, saddened her incredibly, to not be up there in the sky. Though she had some minor teleportation abilities (and only some times when her mind was up to it, and only to the general vincinity of her Target), she knew she would never again fly with the other Angels. Nor would they accept her. The old ones, the ones that still remembered her from centuries ago, would be drowned out by the newer Angels. How could a Hell-Angel ever be accepted into a societ so pure? Though angels, some were not above gossiping and some times even hurtful words. Of course, her God would accept her back she was sure. If he sent her, one of his best angels, to do something so terrible, he would surely take her back...right? Siasha figured she mightaswell not think about it, as there wa no one to get back now in anay cae. She'd be the Devil's messenger till the end of time. Her emotional state, as these thoughts ran through her mind (even as she tried to block them), she couldn't help but let a few tears escape. Siasha cried often when she was alone, but only ever for a few econds. Now, she quickly brushed them away and blocked out the pain. It was only now that she realized how quiet it was -- not even the crickets were singing their cheerful song.

Aeron walked mutely among the silver grass, crimson feathered wings relaxed but open as if he was to take off at moment. Posion green eyes that looked like they would belong to Envy scanned the sky for angels. He was in one of his serious moods, being homesick. Not many angels flew under the cloud cover for they would be spotted by everyone. And though he could fly, his blood colored scarlet wings would never be accepted by the pure white winged angels. One of his black gloved hands streched towards the heavens for a moment, as if he could reach it. Only a moment later did the gloved hand fall back to his side. He missed the heavens, his God, the fellow angels around him. Now it was just him really. Aeron spent all his time on the human's world, travelling to collect souls like the Hell Angels did. He could remember when his wings had turned their scarlet color. He had been sent on a special mission by the Devil to test him. He had slaughtered a village and earned his blood soaked wings. Though they no longer were soaked, no matter what he did they would stay the same bright scarlet color. One day, he thought with a determined look, one day I will throw my wings away. Even if I have to be the one to cut them from my body. Aeron looked at his surroundings as if just noticing where he was. More then once had he found souls within this silver grass, which shone in the moonlight. His pale skin also slightly glowed in the moonlight, black clothing and wings looking out of place. A few scarlet strands fell into Aeron's face before he brushed them away. One day his hair would turn back to its original white color. And one day his eyes would become grey once again. Maybe one day.

Siasha kept herself from wiping her eyes directly, but instead blinked the tears away so that her face wouldn't end up ugly and red. It wasn't like Siasha had anyone to look good for, but she still didn't want the puffy red eyes that normally came with crying. Taking a breath, she hugged her arms closer to herself and allowed her breath to continue to normal. Brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, she reached above and grabbed a branch that hung just high enough and to the side. Pulling herself up, she dodged the branch and balanced carefully on the limb she stood on. Opening her wings for balance, she walked forward slowly. She stepped lightly, her weight shifted onto her toes. Placing them directly infront of eachother, she walked as far out as she dared. The branch just above her started hanging closer, and she held on to it just to keep it from hitting her as it waved in the breeze. Closing her eyes, she stood there and just let the wind brush against her face. Opening her wings to their full length, she just stood there, rocking back and forth slightly. Her mind wandered to her flying days, when her wings were full and she could still fly. She went back to that last day. The last day she got to fly. Siasha had been standing on a buildings edge, and had taken that step forward....She jolted back to reality as she realized that her foot was hovering dangerously off the end of the tree limb. Pulling herself back, and as she did so, a curious color caught her eye: Red. Walking through the grass was a young (well, he appeared to be young) man. And, upon his back, were huge crimson wings. It went without saying that he could fly. But what was he? Was he an angel or demon? Siasha could only stand and stare, in the awkward position she had taken up in the tree. Something was oddly familiar about him, but she was sure she hadn't seen him before. The thought that they might some how be the same never crossed her mind -- Siasha was one of a kind.

Aeron cheered himself up from his depressed mood by thinking about where he had been able to go. He had been able to travel to so many places because of what he had become. But tonight was a quiet night, no souls needing him. He bit his lip lightly, wondering how many angels had become what he had. His memory seemed to be slipping slightly though, for he couldn't remember how many. Only that he was been one of them. How long had it been since then? Probably centuries past by now. His wings relaxed further, folding themselves against his back. A breeze made the grass sway gently, his hair following suit. A slight sound reached his ears in the silent night. As if a tree he had spotted beofre had swayed in the light breeze. This made Aeron look towards the tree and saw something that surprised him. A girl staring at him while standing on a tree branch. How long had she been there? She was winged yet they did not seem to be able to fly. What was she? Who was she? Aeron did not call out to her, instead looking at her. With those wings, she was no angel. Perhaps a demon? Aeron settled on that she was a demon but he still looked at her, now in the eyes. He didn't activate his Death Touch or make any move to defend himself, knowing she was not going to attack him. That much was obivious. If she had wanted to, the girl would have already tried to do so. Not that he would have actually let her attack him. It only took one touch after all.

Siasha shrank back slightly as he saw her, but even though her body shrank away her eyes did not. They met his, and as they did Siasha went about trying to figure out exactly what he was. She knew that the chances of them being an enemy were slim, because he was either Angel or Demon. Siasha could easily be considered both. Hesitantly lowering her wings, they were soon folded against her back. They weren't as impressive as this strangers (a fact she noted with a pang of saddness), nor did they work like they should -- but Siasha still moved them like they did. It was a habit she was sure she would never grow out of. Curiosity was quickly getting the better of her, and it didn't help that she was in such a lonely state. And so, quite boldly, she beckoned him towards her. It was one swipe of the hand, and seconds afterwards she jumped from her stone position in the tree. Her rosie orbs looked to the ground during those few seconds of free fall. Through nothing but instinct she opened her wings, and though pitifully small they did something to slow her descent. Landing on her feet, she pushed her hair back and looked in the direction she knew him to be. After a moment or two, she started twirling a piece around her fingers. Her blonde hair was silver in the moon, and gave off a very odd shimmer. Sighing, she put her hands behind her back and leaned against the tree; her eyes pointed towards the ground as she waited to see if he would join her, and possibly even talk with her. She wanted to know exactly what he was.

Aeron kept his eyes on hers, not able to look away for a moment. They seemed a bit pinkish, as if she had shed tears recently. Was she really a demon? The last time Aeron checked, demons did not shead tears or really have a reason to. Most demons were just blood thirsty creatures that did not seem to care about much. Of course, half demons acted human and had a human's way of thinking. Perhaps she wasn't a full demon, but a half one? The girl folded her wings against her back even though they seemed useless. What had happened to her wings anyway? She acted as if they would work still. When the being beckoned him to come closer, he also remembered that she could be a spirit of some sort. After all, it would not be the first time he had been called to a spirit. She went into a free fall from the tree branch, snapping opening her wings. They didn't seem to do much, barely slowly her fall. Whatever she had been, her now useless wings had once worked. Why else would she try to use them again? Aeron walked towards the being, wondering what she really was. Not a demon it seemed, and not an angel. He barely made a noise as he walked, noticing she now had her eyes glued to the ground. His pace was one of a medium range, not fast walking or acting as if sleep walking like some people did. He reached the girl in no time though, not having much distance between them anyway. She was leaning on a tree, still looking at the ground. Aeron stood about a foot away, his black boots no doubt in her line of sight. "Not often I find someone in these silver grasses. What might you be doing here at such a late hour?" Aeron asked, trying to break the heavy silence of the night. The hell angel looked at her, wondering if she was going to continue to stare at the ground as if it was something of interest.

Only a few moments went by before she was in the direct company of the stranger, and her eyes slowly rose from the ground. Blinking her lashes once, she pondered exactly how much she should tell him. The truth was that this had been the closest place of rest after escorting a soul into the sprit world. It had been a particularly troubling one, as the victum was a toddler. The little boy had held hard to her hand, and when it was finally time for him to go he was reluctant to do so. It had been an easy decision as to his placement -- anyone younger than 10 was almost gaurenteed a spot on the other side of the Holy Gates. He had clung to her, though, and it had taken a good amount of time to pry him off of her and urge him through the portal. It was always sad to see a young one go, but the younger they were the more dangerous it was to escort him to the portal. Demons were always looking for a new body, and it was up to Siasha to protect the soul she lead. The child had caught ill in a town nearby, and his family had been far too poor to give him the medicine he needed. Siasha wasn't normally sent on missions like that -- situations when the person died of natural causes, or even murder and suicide. No, Siasha was normally sent to take the souls of people who had made deals or trades with their life. But, the soul of a toddler can be very valuable, so Siasha had gone about her job of bringing it to safety. "The business of a town cannot possibly be compared to the solitude of this field." She replied, quite cleverly. She wanted to talk with him - if only for a little while - in an effort to quell the feeling of loneliness that was quickly becoming a little too much to bear. She wasn't necessarily looking for a long time friend at this point, but some sort of human (well, as inaccurate as that word may be~) interaction would no doubt prove to be helpful.

Aeron decided she was no half demon by the way she acted. Especially by the way she answered him. Most humans and half demons liked being around other people by what Aeron had seen of them. As an angel and a hell angel next, he didn't see much of humans either way. He flashed back to his earlier mission that morning, where he had to show a criminal's soul to the Gates of Hell. The woman had killed her sons and her husband in what she claimed was an act of kindness. They had had a disease that causes pain but could have cured. It had been right before Aeron had picked her up that her head had rolled as a punishment for her madness. On the way to drop her soul off at the Gates, the woman had wept bitterly and begged him not to make her go there. To see how kind she had been and such. Aeron had easily ignored her and sent her soul to where it would now reside but it had put him into a sad mood up until now. "I must agree with you Miss. The town is much to busy for my tastes. Aeron said, meaning what he said. Too many humans and other creatures. Though he got lonely, he liked quiet chats like this one as opposed to listening to many other people talk while walking on a road. "My name is Aeron. What might yours be Miss? he finished, holding out his hand for hers to kiss.

Siasha nodded slightly in agreement, closing and opening her eyes slowly as she did. She took that small moment to look around the place dubbed Silver Flats. It truly was beautiful, and the uniqueness of the place did no go unnoticed by the Hell Angel. She had traveled the world, and was yet to come across a place quite like it. It's metallic silver shine was hard to compare, and the only place she had ever seen with such a sheen was the desert. The white sand had turned metallic under the moon. The only difference was, obviously, that one held life while the other so ruthlessly took it away. It took a brave soul to try and cross any desert, and while it was possible and people made it across all the time, it was no doubt a hard thing to do. She had taken many lives in the hot, steamy sand. Here, you could enjoy the beauty of the moon and at the same time not be dying of thirst. Siasha's eyes returned to his at the sound of his name. Aeron. Some part of her mind was recording it to memory while the other was focusing on what to say next. "I am Siasha. It is a pleasure to meet you." she replied, moving her hand into his. She could tell by his polite mannor that he was either not as young as he appeared, or a noble or person of high status. Seeing as he wasn't of any royal bloodline she knew of, she figured the first possibility to be the more likely one. Luckily, Siasha was centuries old and knew what was polite no matter what time frame a person may be from. "If I may be so bold," she began, "Of what species are you?" she finished, motioning towards the bright red wings upon his back.

Aeron found the name Siasha an interesting one. It wasn't overly common and it seemed to suit what he had seen of the girl. And whatever she was, the being was also interesting. He bowed slightly, kissing her hand before releasing it and straightening up. He wasn't really sure how people acted nowdays from being cut off from others so he had guessed. Either way, she had accepted his behavior. When the girl asked him the question, he wondered whether or not to actually tell her. It wouldn't do much harm. Yet, she could become afriad of him and decide to leave him. It was a tough decision but he couldn't bring himself to lie to the girl. "Why, I am something not many people stumble upon or really know about, Siasha. I am a Hell Angel, deliverer of souls to either the Gates of Heaven or Hell. Aeron said, bowing to the girl. He looked at the ground for a moment before returning to his normal stance and looked her in the eyes, smiling. "And what might you be? Your wings seem as if something tragic has happened to you." Aeron asked, smile still in place. Whatever she was, the girl named Siasha was no doubt an interesting person.

Siasha's interest only perked as he started his speach with 'something not many people...', and in that second every possibility ran through her mind. Was he a demon angel? They were rare, but so was she. It seemed unlikely, for some reason, but she didn't rule it out. She knew he wasn't a demon. He could have been an angel, but his wings were red -- and wasn't something to take lightly when giving someone such an honorable title. It's amazing, isn't it? How fast the brain thinks. In the pause between his breaths she had thought of almost everything that may explain his red wings -- everything except for what he truly was. At the words Hell Angel, Siasha felt her body freeze. It seemed that even her heart stopped beating. Her eyes got wide, and she her surprise wasn't something she could hide. "This can't be..." she whispered under her breath. Leaning forward, she took his hands up in hers. She felt something in her mind click as her Death Touch was activated. If this was, indeed, another one like her, there would be no effect. If he wasn't...well, Siasha hardly had time to think about it. Had she finally found someone she could relate to? Someone that had seen such horrors? She didn't even register the second part to what he said about something tragic. A slight tingling ran through her fingers. Would it do him harm? Or would he just feel that similar tingle?

Aeron caught the surprise on Siasha's face but saw no fear. He caught her words on the wind and wondered what she meant as the being took his hands into her hands. What was the girl doing? He watched her as she stood still, as if waiting for something. Maybe she really was a spirit and was surprised at the fact she had met someone to finally put rest to her soul? But Siasha didn't seem to act like a spirit, who were either depressed or violent. Much too human yet not at the same time. After only a few seconds a tingling travelled from her skin onto his own. It took another moment to place the feeling even though he had felt the same tingling many a time. When it clicked into place, his own Death Touch activated and sent a dtronger tingling through him. He didn't drop his hands from hers, slightly shocked at the fact he had found someone like him. Someone that had been traded from their Heavens and taken on such a horrid job. It always hurt a piece of him when he had to bring a soul to the Gates of Hell, knowing that they would never really be able to rest in piece there. And when he brought a soul to go to the Heavens, it burned him knowing that his Heaven was somewhere Aeron could no longer go. A slight shock was on his faceas he looked at Siaha, knowing truly what she was now. He had really found another one of his kind. After centuries of being alone, he had found another. And in a feild without looking. Though he hadn't really wished to find another one of his being up until now, Aeron realized that perhaps he had wanted to know another person like him. To know that he wasn't really alone. They had both gone through some of the same things.

Siasha's eyes were closed as she felt the tingling in her finger tips, waiting to see what would happen. She wasn't concentrating, per se, because the Death Touch wasn't something one had to concentrate on. It came when willed and disappeared when necessary. The Death Touch was controlled perfectly with the least amount of practice. Suddenly a familar, and yet unknown, tingling went up her own arm. It started from her finger tips and ran up, causing goosebumps on the back of her neck. It was like her body knew that whatever it was was dangerous, but it wasn't doing her any harm. Opening her eyes, she couldn't hide her smile. The sensation was no doubt the feeling of Aeron's own gift. So many emotions were raging through her mind, that she didn't know exactly how she felt. She was happy and relieved to know that she wasn't alone, shocked and surprised to find him so serendipitously, but sad that he had met the same fate as she. All of a sudden the world didn't seem so empty any more -- there were people out there like her. Siasha had known, of course, that others had been involved in the trade; but it hadn't seemed real till now, as she had never met one of her own kind. Finally, all of the emotion came dripping out of her eyes. Crystal tears rolled down her face as she tried to stop them. Her eyes were once again glued to the ground, ashamed to be showing such weakness in the company of another person.

Aeron smiled as Siasha stood still, not becoming fevered from his own Death Touch. He had never though he would find another Hell Angel. Even though he would live for such a long time, never had he seen this coming. It was such a miracle. Perhaps his God actually watched over him still? Maybe he hadn't just been abandoned like he had originally thought. As Siasha began to cry and lower her head, Aeron realized that they were from meeting another Hell Angel. Aeron hadn't cried in a long time and even now his eyes stayed clear. But emotions still ran through him. He was happier then he had been in a long time. When he had first become a Hell Angel, Aeron had actually searched for another one like him. And it was only now that he really knew why. Though they might not have met before, they shared so much. The grief from being traded away, from leaving the Heavens forever, from so many things. Pleasent memories too, from before everything had changed. Aeron took his hands from hers and wrapped his arms around Siasha in a loose hug. He had found someone like him. After so many centuries of being alone in this world, escorting souls to their happily ever after or their awful afterlife in Hell. I wasn't alone.

Siasha's body trembled at the shock, but she was fighting desperately to pull herself back together. She had always been a very emotional girl, but never had she been like this in the company of someone else. She was embaressed, to say the least. She had no thought about meeting someone else like her in a very long time, as it had never seemed to important up until then. Of course, when she first came back to Earth she kept an eye out for them, but never actually searched. The girl was good enough a liar that she could make some type of friend without scaring them off. Though, because Siasha has not aged, she would always be forced to leave her friend behind in order to keep her identity a secret. Now, she wouldn't have to -- assuming her and Aeron got along. Siasha was fairly easy to get along with, so she hoped that they would. Though, she wouldn't be surprised if they were to be friends simply because of the trials they had both faced. Siasha let him hug her, and returned it by wrapping her arms softly around his neck -- avoiding the feathers of his wings in the process (a problem he would no doubt not have). It only took a few moments, however, for Siasha to stop crying. Things would no doubt be awkward after that, she thought to herself.
