Elric entered the bar holding on to his side. He needed a drink before he accidentally let out his anger on some innocent person. His boss, or master as the man kept on correcting him, had taken out his anger on him again today. Except it had gotten more violent then normal. He had pulled out a knife and had managed to wound him quite deeply. He had managed to bandage himself up and leave before a second round began. One of the others could take the beating. His body could not take anymore than it already had taken. He sat down at the barstool and looked at the waiter. It looked he was new here.
"Give me the strongest thing you got." Instead of getting him the drink the bartender looked at him as if he did not belong here. "Is it not a little early for a drink. It is just 3 in the afternoon." Getting more annoyed by the second Elric's eyes turned red and the bartender did not wait any more time to get his drink. Elric sighed. He hated when new people were hired here to work. All the older staff knew to give him a drink when he asked for one. It was always the new ones that wanted to make sure he was old enough to drink. What did it matter to them. If he could pay for it that was all that mattered.
When he went for his drink he saw that his hand was covered in blood. It looked like the blood had gotten through the bandages. He quickly checked the cut and found that it was finally closed. It looked like he would not be losing any more blood. However he had lost so much already. He took the drink and downed it in one gulp. He wanted nothing more than to forget what had happened today. He just hoped that he would not run into any trouble here. Last thing he needed was another fight while still wounded.

Axel looked around the small dressing room that smelled slightly like smoke and alchol. She had been hired as a fire dancer to entertain people that afternoon and her first show was quickly coming up. But she couldn't help but wonder why someone would bring a fire dancer to a bar full of alchol. After all, if her fire caught on to some on it...She shivered slightly from the coldness of the room. The fire elemental quickly finished getting ready, letting her flame colored bangs cover one of her eyes. Her costume was a black tube top that ended before her stomach and a long black skirt that had large slits up the sides with red shorts under them so she could move easily.
Someone knocked on the door and told Axel that she was to be on in a few moments. She smiled, wondering how many people in Obscur had ever seen a fire dancer. It was very different then what the name said, the person not really dancing or anything like that. The fire dancer was actually a controller of fire while being an entertainer. It was hard to explain to most people, but Axel was fine with that. She opened the door and stepped out of the dressing room behind stage. There were a few dressing rooms that were always used by different people, randomly hired that week. Axel herself had gotten the job but the only reaon she had travelled was because she had been wanting to see the city of Obscur.
People walked on the stage, setting up small fires in some columns against the stage. Once they were done, a man came on."And now, for you entertainment of the hour! The lovely fire dancer all the way from Sanchu's capital! Enjoy~" the man said on the stage just as Alex got her box of matches and slipped it into my pocket in case something happened. She stepped out from behind the curtain in the back of the stage, now in plain view. She moved center stage before begginning, slightly nervous. Her hands moved quickly, palms outwards towards two stone columns with fire atop them. The fire shot at her hands, easily reaching them and incasing them with flame. Alex could swear she could hear the humans' and some other creatures' awe just at this. The real fun began only in a moment.

Elric was wondering whether to get another drink or just sit their annoying the bartender. Bother were much better than the third alternative. However before he could decided he he heard the announcer say that they were going to provide them with a fire dancer for entertainment. He turned around on his seat to face the stage. He did not have much expectations of the dancer. Most he had seen used tricks and when faced with his flame they ran as if they were afraid of fire that was not of their making. He wondered if this dancer could make him reconsider his opinion of the profession. Though he much doubted it.
When he saw a girl come out he wondered what she could do. When she called the fire to her hands he put his hand on his lap and called up a small blue flame. It hovered over his arm like there was something keeping the flame from touching him. If she bored him, he would make it interesting by making her think she was on fire with his flame. After all he thought she was a normal human and his flames could not harm humans when he was in this form. However he was going to wait first. He was going to give the girl the benefit of showing her act to those around him.
He tilted his head back. "Barkeep get me some milk." That was sure to confuse the man after all the argument that he had caused to get a drink originally. He heard the glass being placed behind him and he took it with his other free and and drank it almost as fast as the drink earlier. He placed it on the empty seat beside him and waited to see some more.

Axel closed her eyes before twisting more flame above and shaping it into a small dragon of sorts. She smiled, eyes twinkling with mischief as the dragon above her dove towards a nearby table. The people gasped but before it could get close enough to hit them, the fire dancer, whoses arms had directed the fire, closed her palms, the fire disappearing all together. The people at the table seemed mixed between shock and amused, more of the first one. Axel smiled as more fire was called to herself and it quickly took the form as two wolves.
Axel set them loose on the audience, wolves running far enough from the tables to not set innocent people on fire...however that amusing it was. Alex made sure that once the fire hit the floor that it was gone so the whole building didn't burn. A lot of humans stared at the wolves as they ran by quickly before reuniting in front of the stage, jumping at each other with fangs bared. Once the wolves hit each other the fire disappeared. A large bird soared over the audience before shooting itself at the only person at the bar. This didn't disappear, instead turning upwards at last moment and soaring over the audience still.
During this Axel had gotten staff-like things made of some sort of stone. The bird dived onto the stage again and quickly became the shape of a human. Axel threw one of the staffs to the fire-being, which caught it and charged her. She twirled out of the way, before jumping away from it. Something was distracting her in the audience but for now she would ignore it. The fake fight continued, Axel dodging and countering the fire made being. She could tell there was something besides her own fire out in the audience. The question was, who had it?

Elric was surprised at the forms the fire took. He had expected her to be some fake, but it looked like she knew what she was doing. He was all but ready to extinguish the flame in his hand when he noticed that it had disappeared. He knew that it was somewhere and that it still had that small barrier keeping it from burning whatever it touched, but he knew that it would not last long. He was going to have to find it before it touched the other flames. Last thing he needed was his blue flame eating up another flame. It would take a lot more time to take out a much larger flame and by then it could do some damage.
He got up making sure no one would pay attention to him looking for a his flame. Just a line of sight was needed to extinguish it. However first he needed to create that line. That was where the problem was occurring. It was not as easy as it looked to find a single small flame in the building. He made his way around making sure not to block the view of those around in him in the bar. He did not want to tell anyone why he was moving around in the middle of such a show. He did not want to panic any of the non humans in the building. That was until he saw it.
The first thing he tried to do was snuff it out, but the flame did not respond. It looked like it was more interested in the fire dancer then him. He would have let the fire be if it would just stay where it was, however it was moving very slowly to the fire human. He could not let the two touch. He quickly dashed through the tables and slid onto the stage, clasping the blue flame fight before it connected with the normal flame. He looked at the fire dancer and then shook his head. He slid of the stage. "Sorry about that. There was something on the stage that would have burned dangerously if you flame touched it." Of course he was not going to say that it was the flmae he had put out when he had jumped on the stage.

Out of the corner of her eye, Axel could see something blue making its way towards her. She didn't respond to it, continuing the fake fight by jumping over the fire being, flipping and twitsing around so she landed behind the being. It turned and lashed out, Axel rolling away and noticing that the blue thing looked as if it was a flame. Though she wanted to, the fire dancer couldn't look out into the audience to see who's flame it actually was. A person slid onto the stage, smothering out the blue flame. Axel had the fire being disappear, staff falling to the ground.
Instead of being angry like most performers would be, Axel gave the boy a trickster's smile. "It isn't a problem. I was simply going to tie the show up anyway~" Axel said, still smiling. To the untrained eye, the smile was purely innocent. But to someone like the fire dancer, it was one that someone gave before causing trouble. She wanted to know what that blue flame had been but first the show had to be finished. She bent down towards the male slightly, whispering to him. "Meet me backstage after Im finished." Axel said, smile in place.
The fire dancer then straightned up, eyes closed in slight concentration. And when Axel's eyes snapped open, the stage itself was covered in fire. Flames licked up her boots and legs, spreading over her body from the stage. The stage's fire slowly died as she stood there covered in fire. Only a blink later and she was back to normal, smiling and bowing. When she stood again, Axel snapped and all fire in the bar, including the candles on tables, went out at the same moment. Creatures snapped out of what appeared to be a trance, clapping for the fire dancer. She took another bow before waving and walking off behind the curtain. Axel wanted to know about that blue flame she had seen, whether he was actually back there or not.

Elric looked back at the fire dancer, but did not smile. It was not that he did not want to, but he just could not. He was glad that she was not angry, he really had not desire to jump on the stage, but he had no choice. At least she did not make him part of the show. What surprised him more was that she wanted to see him after the show. That did not sound good to him. After all he did not trust her, or anyone in particular. For all he knew she was going to yell at him for ruining her show back there and he had no desire to lose his temper. It would be better not to show up and to go somewhere else. There where plenty of other places he could go to drink of relax.
He went to the counter and payed his tab. He did not give his usual tip seeing that the man had originally not wanted to give him his drink. The man would learn soon that Elric tipped good when he was given a good service. He then looked at the stage and waited until the dancer went back stage. He did not want her to see him leaving the building. He did not want anything to do with the fire dancer. When she finally went back stage he made his way to the door and left the bar. He wondered where to go next. There were so many places he could go and people that he could see.
He made his way down the streets purchasing some roasted lamb as he walked. He could not resist the temptation of meat. He prefer ed it over all other foods. Though he could not help to think about what it was like to be human as he walked down the street. It had to be different than this. If he was human then he would not have this terrible job right now or none of these powers. How nice it would be to wake up and and only have to worry about going to work. Many people did not have to worry about their violent side coming out and killing whatever it wants to kill.

Axel smirked at the empty backstage. This would be pretty fun. She set down the stone staffs and casually walked out the side exit, wondering how long it would be until she found him. The fire dancer took off the hair tie from her wrist, tying back her hair into a small ponytail on the way out of the alley. Before she came to the enterance, Axel jumped up on a crate and then grabbed the low roof before hoisting herself onto it. Squatting there, Alex took a look from the higher angle. She stood after a moment, not spotting any gray/silver hair. Where could the male run off to? The fire elemental grinned, taking another look at her surroundings. She walked to the middle of the slanted roof, stepping and then walking on where the two rectangles meet.
Alex walked towards the main street, wondering if she was heading in the right direction. The blue flame hadn't smoked so she couldn't pick up a smell of smoke aside from the normal smoke. She jumped up on the slightly higher roof that belonged to the building pressed against the one she had been walking on. While walking, Axel hummed a tune to herself, looking around. After another roof, she dropped down into another alley, coming onto the street. The fire elemental walked in the same direction, wondering why he had even run away. Had he seen her smile? Whoops...
Axel looked at the street vendor stands, search temporarily forgotten over the thought of food. She was hungry and had money on her. After buying some some strawberrys, the fire elemental ate them while looking around. She finished the berries quickly and just as she was gonna head in a different direction, she spotted the male. A sile broke its way onto her face as she walked ata faster pace until behind him. She quickly moved in front of him, sticking her tongue out for a moment."Found ya!"

Elric finished his lamb as the fire dancer appeared in front of him. He had thought he had left her behind and now she was standing in front of him. He really did not want to deal with her right now. He wanted nothing more than to frighten her off with his flames, but he doubted it would work since his flame had acted strangely before. He also did not want to start a commotion since his shirt was covered in blood. Though it was common to see him wearing a shirt with blood on it, normally not his, he did not want to attracted any unneeded attention today. It looked like he was going to have to deal with this dancer.
He looked at her and then around them. He needed a nice place to converse without the distractions of those around him. Preferably somewhere private. He was not going to let himself be caught off guard by anything in this city. After all one never knew who was listening on a conversation. "I am sorry I interrupted your show, but I see no reason why you are following me around. You still got paid and I have done no harm to you." He hoped that she would leave, but he could guess that she would not. The fact that she followed him all the way here meant that she was not going to leave as easily as he wanted her too. He was just going to have to deal with her and then return back to see of the boss had calmed down.
He finally spotted the building he was looking for. He had often in the past used it to meet with other people and he knew the boss there quite well. On the front it was just a restaurant, but it did not always serve food. It catered to the customers needs. He would go there if she did not leave him be. It would at least allow them some privacy. The owner knew better then to get on Elric's bad side. However, he remained on the streets waiting from a response from the dancer that had followed him.

Axel smiled when the male spoke to her. She didn't really care about the pay. Actually that bar paid horribly anyway. What she cared about was the fact that he was something different. The fire dancer was really interested in the blue flame she had seen and she wasn't going to give up until she knew about it. But what was the guy looking around for? Perhaps a friednto get him out of talking to her? Axel held back a smile, wondering how long it would take to know. Axel didn't know this city very well, surprised at the fact she had really been able to find him.
"It's not about that! I was a bit curious about the flame I had seen from you got on stage to put out~ And don't worry about the pay because I didn't except the job because of the money." Axel said, a small smile in its usual place on her face. Even if this guy was dangerous or something, she was gonna find out about the thing she had seen. After all he had a lot of blood on him. Axel didn't really care though, having spoken to much more dangerous-looking people before. But he could be much scarier then he seemed, something that also interested the fire dancer. Either way, he was stuck with her until her curiosity had been fulfilled.

Elric was not surprised that she wanted to learn about the flame. Most people who see it want to learn about. Of course most of them just wanted to use him to their advantage so he never indulged them. They had not need to know about his abilities and the same went with the girl in front of him. The only problem was that it did not look like she was going to leave anytime soon. He could run seeing that she was not from this city, but where would he go. He only had one place to return to here and he was quite sure that the man living there was still angry. He was not going back for a second round.
He sighed and pointed to the building he had found earlier. "If you want to talk, we will talk in there. One can never be to careful in Obscur" He did not want people to find out that he was the user of the blue flame or of his line. He made his way to the building and knocked three times before entering. It was his signal to show that he was not there for food, but for something else. Be made his way to the empty part of the restaurant and took a seat in the empty booth. It was his usual spot, always free and ready for him when he needed it.
A waiter approached him as asked what he needed. "A spare change of clothing and water would be nice." He did not care if the dancer had followed him, he needed to change before he left anyway. This way he could get some food and maybe some new information that was floating in the city. He placed his hand on his side knowing that the wound was healed. However the pain was still there. The nerves were always the last to get healed. He did notice that his hands where still slightly paler than usual. The blood in his body had yet to start to regenerate.

Axel followed the male into a building he had pointed out. She hummed to herself, wondering why the male seemed to suddenly give up on getting away. Maybe there was a trap in the building? The smile on her face became wider at that thought, imagining what fun it would be. Sadly, after the boy knocked, the building revealed itself as a restaurant and unable to have traps. The fire dancer slipped into the seat across from the male she had followed, still humming a familar tune quietly. It was the song her mother used to sing to her and the fire elemental found herself singing or humming it constantly.
When the male orders clothes and water, Axel tilted her head to the side slightly. There were such strange places in Obscur! A restaurant where you could order clothes as well? When the waiter turned to her, the fire dancer shook her head. She then looked back to the person across from herself, wondering why he had blood all over him anyway. Was it his or someone else's? Either way, there were few people who had blood on them in Sanchu! The town where she lived was a very peaceful place, rarely having something happen. And even though it was quite boring, it was the cheapest place in the Kingdom to stay. And she couldn't just leave the Kingdom of Sanchu. Axel was tied to it by countless threads and they wouldn't break.
The fire dancer seemed to have zoned out to the outside world, a tune quietly being hummed by her again.

"You can order anything you want here. Just be careful what you order, sometimes the prices are a little steep." Most people only saw this place as a restaurant but Elric knew better. After all not ever place will openly state their real products. There are secrets that should be kept. Either way, he was stuck in this seat until he the spare change of clothing. He listened to the tune and wondered when she was going to say something. She was the one that tracked him down, why was she acted so out of it now. Maybe it had been better to run away instead then taking her here.
He was about to say something when the water returned with his clothing. He took the clothing and got up. "I'll be right back. Don't wander around the building. Not everyone here likes strangers showing up." He made his way to the bathroom to change. He could finally stop looking like he had just got into a fight. He also removed the bloody bandages. While he changed a couple waiters started to talk about Elric. "Looks like he got beat up again. Poor guy, why doesn't he just leave." "Rumor has it that the man has something valuable to him and is holding it hostage." "That's terrible." "Shh, hes coming."
Elric left the bathroom and made his way back to his seat. He took a sip of his water and then looked at the dancer. "So what do you want to know. I can not guarantee that I will answer your questions, but there is no harm in asking them." He really did not want to waist any more time then was necessary. He looked at her not even blinking. His bracelet made a small sound as it touched the table. He quickly covered it with his hand. He did not want people stealing it because it contained what appeared to be a blue jewel on it. How he wished they has brought him a long sleeved shirt.

Axel continued to zone out, stuck in her mind for a few moments. It was only when the male got up that she snapped out of it, blinking for a moment as he spoke. This city was very different then her city and it itself seemed darker hearted. But it was an adventure and even a little time out of Sanchu was nice. Some other people did seem to be giving Axel strange looks though, to which she responded to by blowing a kiss at them, which seemed to get them slightly mad. But not too much as if they would come over here. No, just enough to huff and turn away from her. It was pretty funny to the fire dancer whenever people did that.
Axel heard a few waitors talking not too far away and, without moving her head from looking at the table she was seated at, her eyes moved to look at them. They were to one of her sides and she tried to pick up what they were saying. Were they talking about the same person she had come in with? After all, he didn't seem like one to submit to a beating or anthing like that. Then again, he did have blood all over himself. She took out her small ponytail, the back of her neck feeling oddly cold. Axel spun the hair tie on one of her index fingers, bored. She heard one waitor shush the other one and looked up to see the male back already.
"I would like to know your name first!" Axel started, wondering what the waitors had really been talking about. The person in front of her didn't seem like he had been beaten but did seem slightly paler then most people. But she couldn't really compare him to herself. Her skin, especially against her black costume, seemed sickly pale. "After all, you know mine already. A-X-E-L, got it memorized?" Axel finished, tapping her temple after saying the last bit.

Elric looked at Axel wondering what to say. He had not even taken the time to learn her name before. All she had been to him was another person that he passed by. Now it looked like he would have to learn her name. He closed his eyes and leaned back. If it was as simple as just wanting to know his name and where he was from he could have asked the owner of the bar. He really did not want to play 20 questions with her. He was going to have to speed this up somehow, before those in the building want to know why he was here.
"It's Elric," he muttered out. He did not like his name as much as he did when he was a kid. It only reminded him of his mother and those were things he would rather forget. He leaned back on his seat and took a sip of his water. He placed the glass back on the table. He wondered when she would get straight to the point ans ask her about the flame. That was what most people were interested in when they wanted to talk to him. Most did not care about him or who he was. There was only one person that was ever like that and she was gone now. He was not going to make the same mistake and get close to anyone like that again. He shook his head and focused on what he was doing there right now. He did not want to blurt out something that he shoulf not say. "Next question."
