Elric was surprised that Axel had been quite throughout the whole trip through the tunnels. She had talked normally earlier. He looked at her as she left the tunnel and wondered why he was allowing her to follow him. Normally he would just let them be and leave. What was even worse was that he was starting to feel somewhat comfortable around her. It was bothering him and he did not like the things that bothered him. He was going to leave her now. He had given her enough information. He held out the umbrella to Axel so that she would take it. She had looked worried about the rain earlier and she probably needed the umbrella more than he did.
"I just felt like leaving the restaurant." He could not tell her that his boss was looking for her and the person that he sent was not a pleasant person. Elric knew that he was a cold person, but this man was someone he could not ignore. It only made that man angry and more prone to harm the person that was ignoring him. He still stood there wondering how to leave her. It was not going to be as simple at it looked. She had already followed him from the bar to catch him earlier. He wondered if he would outrun her if he used his full speed.

Axel raised her visible eyebrow at Elric's answer. That way he acted didn't really seem like someone that just felt like leaving. They would have gone out the front door. She tilted her head slightly, face showing she clearly didn't buy his lie. She didn't take the offered umbrella, wondering what had gotten into the slightly younger male. A noise was heard from a nearby rooftop and Axel quickly looked up at it. Her eyes met nothing there. The fire dacner closed her eyes and shook her head for a moment. It had sounded like she had been there. But then again, why would she be in Obscur or in the Kingdom of Daika itself?
Axel, trying to forget the creeping darkness of the tunnels and her own overly active imagination, looked back at Elric. She wondered why he was acting so strangely when the elemental remembered what he had heard about earlier. The waitors had been talking about Elric when he had gone to change. So was he running from the person they had also been talking about? The male beside her didn't seem like he would run from someone. Then again, he had tried to get away from her earlier as well. "Elric...are you running from someone?" Axel asked, voice still more hushed then it usually was.

Elric was offended when she did not take his umbrella. He was doing something nice for another person, which was rare for him and she went and refused the gift. He made a not not to offer anything to her ever again. She could have at least thanked him for the offer. He continued to hold the umbrella not wanting to get wet while he stood there. After all his first set of clothing had been blood soaked, he did not need his second set to be soaked by the rain. He noticed Axel look at the rooftops, but took no notice of what she was trying to look at. He was not interested in anyone but the man that was looking for him.
Elric bit his lip as Axel asked if he was running from someone. What did it matter to her? She was just some stranger. He had no obligation to answer that and he was tired of this getting to know each other. Somehow Axel had crossed a line that she did not know existed until that point. He took a step back from Axel. "That is none of your business. I am tired of this all why don't you just say it. You are interested in this stupid blue flame that I inherited from my father. That's the only reason why people approach a half demon like me. I'm tired of being nice and trying to get along. Have you not realized that I have been only telling you half truths and rushing you along so you would just ask me about the flame and then I can leave." He had forgotten that he was trying to get from someone and started to raise his voice.
He summoned a flame and held it out to Axel. "If you want to see it so badly, here." He was not planning on letting her see it for long. He held the flame out making sure it did not touch the water that was falling down. He did not want his flame to sizzle. He was not going to wait too long. His eyes turned red as his anger stayed at a constant level.

Axel listened to Elric's long speech and instead of looking insulted or horrified like most people, had a small smile on her face. And when he held out his blue flame, the elemental did something she would regret later. After Elric had taken a step back, the umbrella barely protected her from the falling rain. But instead of moving closer the fire dancer stepped out into the rain, feeling the cool water running down her in mere moments.
Her flame colored hair quickly flattened slightly and darkened in color yet still being bright. Her costume became soaked but besides being wet it was no different. Though the skirt partr did stick to her legs when she moved. "I'm running from someone too. Someone that looks just like me. Almost a mirror reflection~" she said as the fire dancer twirled before looking back at Elric with a chesire cat's grin. The rain, for now, had no effect on her. But later Axel would become quite ill. Not that she really cared right then.
Her eyes met Elric's and, ignoring the blue flame he held, she kept eye contact. But dispite her grin or the way she acted, a feeling was hidden inside her ash colored eyes. Something down deep inside of her was scared. Not because of the angered Elric, that much was obvious. She wouldn't still be within a close distance of him then. No, it was because for just a moment, it seemed as if she had been there. As if the darkness had been her little test of Axel. It wouldn't be the first time.

Elric extinguished the flame and looked at Roxi unamused. He had not asked her anything about her. He did not want to know more about her. He could care less about her. He clenched his not caring about containing his anger. He had to do it all the time when he was in the house. He did not want to admit that once he released his anger he was unable to control it until it was out of his system. It was probably why when he was in his demon form he would destroy villages to quench that anger. The worse part was that something was telling him inside to choke the person in front of him. However, he was able to control that part of himself.
"I think you got it all wrong. I do not care a single bit about you. I do not care if you are running from someone. Some of us do not have the luxury of being able to run away. Not all of us even have the option of being free. You have no idea what it feels like to be sold to another person and have no freedom. At least you have people that are there for you." He was no longer just talking about just his flame. It more than that. He was letting his anger out on everything that ever hurt him. His normal logical inhibitors that blocked him from say something too revealing were gone. He dropped the umbrella causing the rain to hit him as well.
The bracelet and necklace glowed keeping him in his human form and maintaining the restrictions on the flame. It was the only thing keeping this part of the city from being burned to the ground. Even with the two working Elric still grew claws on his hands and his teeth gained fangs. The tips of his hair was slowly starting to turn black however it was not advancing much farther than the tips of his hair.

Axel's face didn't change as Elric let his anger control him. The rain was beggining to get to her though and she felt slightly light headed. The elemental ignored the feeling, also holding back a small cough. The rain was pouring down on her and the fire dancer knew that she would get worse as time went by. But humans and other people, they could dance in the rain. They could run through it and just sit it in. They didn't get sick. Even her adopted brother, a fellow fire elemental, could go into the rain. There was only one other person that couldn't go out into the rain.
Axel giggled slightly, letting her sanity desert her. "We might be more alike then you think." the fire dancer said, coughing lightly. Her breathing wasn't that far from normal but had gotten slightly heavier. Stupid rain. It always made her sick. The light headiness turned into a bit of dizziness and one of her arms supported her by placing it against a wall. It wouldn't go much farther then this for a while though.
"Why don't you kill him?" Axel asked, "him" being the person that made Elric obey. She was smiling still, oblivous to her sickness and her breathing. Footsteps walked past the alley as life outside of the enclosed space continued on. Rainwater dripped from the ends of the elemental's hair and for some reason, she felt like she was being watched. Yet no footsteps had stopped at the alley. Because life continued on.

Elric laughed at the question. If it just came to killing him then he would have done it a long time ago. He did not mind killing another person, they were nothing to him. However this man had something on Elric, something that made him obey even if got him hurt. He did not want to harm the few things that were important to him. He was not going to be like his father and leave. He took a step to Axel and looked at her. She was still smiling and it was starting to anger him even more. He hated smiles, he hated them so much. He only tolerated them since other people saw it necessary to smile. "Killing would only cause her pain and I will not do such a thing."
By her he was talking about the one person that made his feel like he was more than a tool and the first person that he killed with his blue flame. He lifted his hand and moved to attack. His hand went past Axel's head and connected behind Axel. He did not pull his hand back because the person behind Axel was holding it there. Elric growled and attempted to pull his hand back and was able to break the hold on his hand. Elric jumped back and stood there on guard. He was watching the person looking for an opportunity to attack again.
"My,my, Elric. You must be out of your mind to attack me. You seem to forget that while you are in this form you have no way to beat me. Maybe I should even out the odds," a voice said behind Axel. Elric growled again when the figure finally moved away. It was the same person that Elric had seen in the restaurant earlier. "I'll kill you." Elric moved to attack again when he had a clear view of the man. However he found himself hitting a wall leaving an indent. The stranger had managed to block the attack and had kicked Elric at the wall. Elric trying to get up but found his way pinned to the the wall. He grabbed the hand that was choking him trying to release it and get some air.
The man was holding Elric by the neck and was looking for something. He smiled as he pulled the necklace out and riped it off. Elric eyes suddenly opened wide knowing what he was trying to do. He only struggled even more. He was noe over come by the fear of possibly transforming. He let Elric go and he gasped for air. He looked at the man and knew he had to get the necklace back before his bracelet was stolen.

Axel didn't move as Elric attacked, thinking that it would hit her. But instead it zoomed past her head and hit something there. She didn't move her head or body, eyes looking at the male's arm so close to her face. What was behind her? The elemental finally moved her head ever so slightly to catch a glimpse as Elric moved away. A man stood behind her. When exactly had he gotten there? The rain weakened her but it didn't harm her hearing. Had he simply appeared there?
The man spoke and Axel turned her head around to look at him better. He moved away a moment later and she realized that this must of been the person Elric had been running away from. Her breathing stayed the same but her sight seemed to be kidding her. Or had the man really moved that quickly? Either one could be possible. It wasn't until Elric was smashed against a wall that she really got that this guy wouldn't have a problem killing the half demon.
Axel used the hand that wasn't supporting her to go into one of her pockets. The matchs' boxes were already wet, which meant her only fire source had already died. But she couldn't just sit here and let this guy just harm Elric. Even if he didn't want it, she was gonna help. Why? Because Axel was not going to be like her sister. Never. But for once, the elemental felt truly weak. Her sister, even in times like this, could conjure up her own flame. Her sister was better then her.
Axel looked up, determination in her ash eyes. No, her sister wasn't better then her. The elemental wouldn't allow herself to stoop below her. The fire dancer pulled a small dagger from one of her boots, wondering if he could really make a difference. At least she could try. Gritting her teeth, the elemental pushed off from the wall, took a few quick steps to the man and slashed at his back with no real aim.
"That girl is still so stupid. I thought she would learn by now." a girl said under a black umbrella, talking to herself more then anyone else. She stood on a tall rooftop not too far away from the alley, a small smile on her frostbite-colored lips. With a flip of her cold fire hair, she turned away from the alley. "I'll just have to deal with her later."

Elric knew he could not defeat the man on a head to head fight without releasing both seals, however that brought on another evil he dare not think of. He was stuck in a bad place. Run and prey that the man gives up on releasing him or fight and become the demon that he was. Either way he was at risk the question was which on was more dangerous. It was a tough choice since he would be leaving Axel to handle him on her own, or he would be releasing a dangerous monster into the city that could destroy a whole part just because he did not like the way someone was looking at him. It would not be that bad if he was able to regain control of himself while in that form, but he could not without the help from the seals.
He did not have a choice to decided when he saw Axel moving to attack the man. He could not have his attention be drawn to her. No matter what his emotions were telling him, he could not let her get attacked by this man. Not as long as he was able to protect her. He had pulled her into this mess without realizing it. He was the one that put her in danger and there for responsible for protecting her until she was out of his hair. If only she had left when he first got angry at her. The next thing he knew he was defending that men getting cut with Axel's dagger. It had caused a gash in his chest that was starting to bleed. He fell down on his knees in pain. It was not a mortal wound. He would heal soon enough. He looked up at her and said one word. "Run."
Why he said it was simple. While he was falling the man managed to remove his other seal, the bracelet. Being consumed by anger and fear had already started the change to his demon form. His claws extended further and a small set of wings grew from his back. His hair turned fully black and his eyes started to glow red. Elric tried to remain in control but it was a losing fight. He was losing himself and he could not stop it. As he lest a blue circle of fire started to burn around him growing larger despite the rain that was falling down. It exploded past the roof tops as he roared. Elric was looking for something to destroy and he had just found something in front of him. A female. He smile as he leaped at her to attack.
The strange man had jumped back the second he had removed the bracelet and was keeping a safe distance. He had to avoid Elric until the transformation was complete. He wanted to face off against the demon no the transformation process. The girl could keep him occupied. Though he wounded how long she would last around a crazed animal. this creature would not understand any reason and the healing power of a demon only made him more dangerous to be around.

Axel's eyes widened as everything happened quickly. Elric jumped in front of the man and the fire dancer watched as her dagger cut through the shirt and skin. Her brain didn't register what Elric said until blue flames passed over the elemental. They didn't burn or freeze, just licking her skin for a moment. Some of the flames stuck to her hands, the dancer making them stay there even though it was raining. The feeling of fire made Axel feel better but she was in trouble if something else happened. The dagger dropped from her hand, the dizziness back full throttle.
Even if she wanted to, she really didn't have the energy to run. Instead she stumbled back until her back met the wall behind her. She coughed for a few moments, only to look at Elric and see a totally different person. The male was looking at her and leapt at her. Axel held her flame covered hands up in defense, eyes shut.
~x~
Lea felt a large amount of fire released and looked back, nearly loosing hold of her umbrella. It wasn't her sister's flame, instead being a tinted blue color from what she could see. Cold fire? The elemental smirked, wondering who exactly had a flame like hers. In a moment Lea was off of the rooftop and onto the street, looking on as Axel took a hold of the flame. No, it wasn't cold fire. Axel could control the cold fire Lea made but she couldn't touch it. But the flame was blue, not unlike cold fire. So what was it?
Either way, Lea could not let some strange harm her toy of a twin. Using the hand not holding the umbrella, the elemental shot her her arm out, palm out. A column of cold fire shot out of her palm, making a sort of sheild in front of her sister. It was no fun if Axel died. Keeping her fire going and palm out, Lea walked forward into the alley, the sreet deserted long before. She wore a non see-through white costume, which had been made to be waterproof unlike her sister's. Besides that, it appeared to be just like Axel's performing costume except for her shorts being a purple color. A smirk was still in place on her frostbite colored lips as she waited to see if the stranger would really hit her cold flames, able to freeze someone quickly. Even more quickly if they were covered in water.

Elric saw the flame and sent his own to combat it. He ordered his flame to eat the flame that was in front of him. Only one flame would remain. The question was who's flame would be stronger. His blue flame attempted to eat the flame in front of it's master trying to make a path for him. However it was not fast enough for Elric's liking. He wanted to take out the person in front of him. He was not going to let a couple flames stop him. After all he just thought that they were normal flames that burned at the touch and he was not afraid of such a flame.
He reached out and his fingers touched the tip of the flames and started to freeze the tips of his fingers. He pulled his arm back, but by then his hand was already frozen. He put out the flame but he did not stop. He summoned a flame and melted the ice. His body healed the wounds and he was ready for another attempt. He rushed forward this time and more of his body touched the flame. He move back and howled and he tried to put out the fire. As he put out one part of his body another spread even further. He was losing the battle against the flame. His body was slowly freezing. He growled when he could no longer move his arms and legs. The ice was slowly covering up his body. All he could feel was anger at the woman for not being able to attack her. He wanted to kill her. He wanted her to die. His anger and hatred as hastening his transformation, but not enough as the ice started to cover his face.
The flames he had summoned had started to fade and die out as the he froze even more. They almost completely disappeared when he became solid ice. All that remained were the flames that were on Axel. Little did they know that there was still some more flames burning. Right on the skin of Elric. They were little flames, but they were working to defrost the demon and keep him alive until it was done. However for now he remained an ice statue unable to move and barely alive.
The man stood there watching Elric fight, well try to attack the creature he had set his sights on. He was truly barbaric when he was was in this form. But if he was not fighting another flame he would have been dangerous. Having the full strength and healing abilities of a demon. It was a had creature to take down. Even as he looked at the ice statue he knew that Elric had not lost yet. He was alive and slowly escaping the trap that he was in. If he would not escape then he was a useless demon to the master and deserved to die.

What greeted Axel instead of the heated feeling of pain was a cool sensation. Slowly she opened her eyes, shocked at what she saw. Green, blue, and purple flames danced only a few inches in front of the elemental. For a moment she though the the blue flame had become something else. But no, the blue flames on her hands continued to rest there, not having grown any bigger. And when the answer hit her, Axel cursed lightly under the sound of the flames. She had been found by Lea.
After long moments, the cold fire disappeared from in front of Axel. What greeted her eyes shocked her even more. A staute made of ice and someone. Not just someone. Though he looked so different, it was Elric. What had happened? On the ground was a necklace and the bracelet Axel had seen on the half demon earlier. So what was the necklace from? The fire dancer realized that there were footsteps approached and looked at the person, her theory correct.
A girl, that same age as Axel herself, was making her way towards them. Cold fire hair, ice eyes, and lip color were the only real differences between the two. They shared body shape, skin tone, height, even the tattoos they'd had since they could remember were similar. Lea had arrived.
~x~
Lea looked very pleased as the creature was incased in ice. She saw her twin release the fire she had taken, her hands appeared unharmed. What had that blue flame been? The only answer was either held by the man still moving or the creature frozen. The fire dancer turned her attention to Axel again as her twin stumbled away from both the creature and Lea, eyes filled with shock. A dagger, necklace, and bracelet all laid on the alley's ground, too heavy to be wisked away by the pouring rain. Axel moved into a tunnel of sorts, out of the rain, before falling on her backside. Only an idiot would even think of going into the rain.
"What might we have here?"

The man knew he had to stall for time until the transformation had finished and the blue flame melted all the ice. However, he did not want to touch those flames that had been summoned earlier. Unlike Elric he knew he could not win against the flamesor survive if his body was frozen. He just hoped that he did not have to wait long for Elric to complete the task. He was sure that being frozen like that was only fueling th fire that caused the transformation. He finally stepped forward and stood between Elric and the other two. "You battle is not done yet. However he are on a temporary break until then. Feel free to tend to your friend there if you want." He needed to be peaceful and try to keep it that way until Elric was free.
Elric watched everything being unable to break free. It was cold. Very cold, but he was not shivering. He could see what he wanted to take it and it only made him angrier. He could feel the flame slowly melting the ice around him, but it would not listen to him and attack the the girl. The flame was set on saving the master's life over killing the target. He silently growled as the waited. Though one thing was happening that Elric did not notice. His body was slowly starting to change again. His hair was already starting to turn red. It was only a matter of time before the transformation was complete and he had enough power to completely melt the ice and free himself from the cage. Until then he would have wait and bide his time.

Axel coughed as she hit the dry ground, water streaming off her. She was soaked and her body wasn't dealing with it very well. She sat up from her awkward falling position, continuing to have a coughing fit for long moments. Why had Lea helped Axel? The fire dancer took out her match boxes, wondering if there was at least one match that could still be used. She had to get dry and the elemental could guess that it wouldn't be long until something happened. Even though she was in the dark, Axel wasn't really scared at the moment. She was too focussed on getting dry.
Axel looked through the small boxes, having about five in all. They were medium sized matches, fitting ten in one of the palm sized boxes by being flatter then most. One match seemed usable and the elemental shakily ran it down the dry wall, amazed when it really caught on fire. The fire grew and swirled around the fire dancer, drying the liquid off of her. A few moments later the fire was restricted to Axel's hands, who was now dry and quickly recovering. She looked at Elric again, wondering if something was really changing color under the ice or the rain had gotten to her sight before she had taken cover.
~x~
Lea glared at the man who spoke to her. This stranger was not above her and had no authority over her. But she smirked once again as the man seemed to be stalling. Could it be he was such a coward that he didn't wish to fight? A few venomous laughs escaped the elemental as the man in front of her referred to Axel as her friend. Never would that happen.
"She is no friend of mine. I only help her this once is because it would be no fun for her to die right now." Lea said, sparing a glance at Axel. Her twin was recovering using fire she had gotten from God knows where. Lea shifted her attention back at the man, a cold smile on her lips. "Now, give me reason not to freeze you." the fire dancer said, ice eyes looking dangerous.

"Well first off I am not your enemy and second I do not think the person behind me would like it if you froze me. He's already going to be angry at you for freezing him to begin with." The man said as he pointed at Elric. He could already hear the ice starting to crack which meant that he was going to get out. He bent down and picked up the bracelet and the necklace. He could not lose it or else he would be a a lot more trouble then he planned for. He then stepped aside as to let them see what was happening to Elric completely and to be out of his sight when he broke free.
Elric mind was clear again. Well as clear as it was going to get. The transformation was almost done. His craws were incomplete, but that was due to the lack of space. He ordered the flames to increase in heat and he could hear the cracking noise of the ice as it became hotter. His body healed it self as he started to break the ice with his strength. In a matter of moments he was free with small chunks of ice on him. He quickly melted them off and looked at Lea. He could see Axel drying herself off and recovering, but she was no longer his target. He wanted to take care of the person that froze him. He would have reached for his sword, but it was not on him. He would have to fight without it.
"So you're the one who froze me. You have some nerve freezing me like that." He summoned a flame into his hand. The flame let off more heat than usual evaporating the water before it even got close to the actual flame. He then changed the form of the flame so that it was a sword. "That was cold. If it was not for my flame I would be dead." He then took a step forward and used his full speed to appear behind Lea. He sliced the air with the fire. He was going for the umbrella and Lea. He was going to save her until he could see what she was capable. He was going to make her suffer as he hurt her. No one froze him without some sort of punishment.
