Axel looked at Elric, attaching the name to the face. Even if she didn't see him again after this, it was still nice to remember someone's name. But the person across from her didn't seem to really like the name he went by. Axel liked her name a lot, mostly because she hadn't even met another person with the same name as her. Then again, she hadn't been to a lot of places, so her name could be common in other parts. Elric seemed to be holding something back as he said it was time for the next question.
Axel looked at him for a moment, wanting to know why he seemed so tense. The fire dancer was relaxed, until another cod wave went over her. Was it going to rain soon? Her powers responded to water sometimes, like making her cold for a moment. She looked out the window for a moment, trying to remember if there had been clouds in the sky. But all she could see was the street so she turned her attention back to Elric, wondering what to ask next.
"Why did you have blood on your shirt? I heard a little about it from someone else but I'd like to ask you. After all, thats pretty strange. Or at least where I come from it is~" Axel asked, wondering if it was strange in Obscur as well. She had just arrived early that morning so she really couldn't be sure.

"That is simple because someone bled on it. Of course depending on the day it could be me or my victim. In my line of business you never know when you are going to get hurt. Or have to hurt others to survive." Of course he was not going to tell her that he had been stabbed by his boss again. Most people could not understand what he was going through and he did not want any false concern for his well being. And it was not like he was lying. He had bled on it, just not from his job. He was just glad it was not serious enough that he lost consciousness. There was no one there that would tend to his wounds. The only rule there was survive until you can escape.
"Of course there are plenty of other reasons for blood to be on a shirt." He wondered why she cared about the blood on his shirt. If you looked closely there were people who walked down the streets with dried blood on their shirts. Though not as much as he had on his. "My turn to ask. Why are you so interested in me?" He wanted to know this more than anything else that he could ask. He intentions can be answered in that question and that was all that mattered to him. Depending on her answer he would leave or stay. Maybe then he could also relax a little. He took another sip of his drink trying to get his mind off of his line of thinking. It was too easy for him to think the worst of the person in front of him. Yet she had not yet shown a reason to think that she was after his powers.

Axel smiled at his answer, figuring out already that he was hiding more then a few things. He seemed to leave quite a few things out but she didn't pry any more into it. Maybe he had been the one injured today but he didn't want to admit it? The fire dancer had learned over the years that males didn't like to hurt their pride. Axel didn't really understand why there were many reasons to have blood on a shirt. In her town people never walked around with bloody clothing. Then again, she was far from her home now. This city really was more dark hearted but it fascinated the fire elemental.
When Elric asked her why she was so interested, Axel had to wonder to herself as well. She put on a thinking face and looked off into the distance for a moment with her head tilted. Her expression turned to a normal one and without moving her head she turned her eyes towards him. The fire dancer turned the rest of her head back towards him a moment later, having found her reason. Because your an interesting person." she said bluntly, resting her head on her arm that had been raised from laying on the table.

Elric chuckled at the response. No one had ever called him interesting before. That that was mostly because he never really tried to talk to anyone. He was just glad she did not say because of his blue flame. Still she could have told him what part she found interesting. She very little about him and yet she was calling him interesting. He leaned back. "Your probably the first person to call me interesting ever and yet you know so little about me. Almost the whole staff here knows more about me and most of them fear me then call me interesting. Though it could be related to the indecent that happened last year."
The incident of last year was something that those were involved would like to forget. Some had managed to remove his two seals and Elric had transformed. A village had been wiped from existence. What they had done to anger Elric was still unknown. All that was known that they should not mess with Elric when he was angry. To Elric it was just another example how people just view him as a tool. He knew why he had destroyed the village, and he had no choice but to do so. He got slightly angry when he thought of what they had been doing there. Though it was not enough to change the colour of his eyes.
He looked at Axel and wondered what she wanted to know next. He leaned forward so he was closer to her. "So what do you want to know next. After all it is your turn now." He noticed the owner from the corner of his eye looking at them. By the looks of it he wanted to talk when he was done. Probably some new information that was brought in recently that he wanted delivered. It was not a rush job. He focus back onto Axel waiting for the next question.

Axel blinked as Elric started to chuckle and she gave him an actually innocent smile, wondering why no one thought him to be interesting. He seemed so different from other people the fire dancer had ever met and seemed to have some strange history. And he wasn't the type of person to blurt out everything about themselves, just going on and
on about themselves. Even Axel, who was accepting of people, really got annoyed at that type. And yet at home they flocked to her, which was the reason she usually performing streetside. No one gets too close when there's fire involved. Axel kept her head on her palm, wondering what the incident was. She tried to remember the major events she had heard about last year but so much had happened in her life while she was seventeen. She just couldn't remember everything. She lifted her head from her palm finally, brushing aside her bangs from her covered eye. It was only a moment later when they covered her eye again. Maybe she could chop off more of her hair? No, Axel's hair was short enough for now. With a curious smile, Axel pondered what to ask next. She then said the first thing that came to mind, seeing as it would probably rain soon. Either way, the fire elemental would be stuck inside the building until she either had an umbrella or it had stopped raining. Her powers and rain or most other water didn't agree and she would get sick sometimes when in contact with water for too long. "What happened last year?" Axel asked, curiousity clear in her grey eyes. Or, at least the one that wasn't hidden behind flame-colored hair. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"A whole village disappeared withing one night. Nothing left, not even bones of the people that lived there. Rumour has it that the killer used blue flames. Though no one is sure what really happened apart from the killer. Most people think I did it, but they have no proof and I am not the only person that can use blue flames in this country. The killer has yet to be found." Of course he was not going to get caught. He had left no survivors. There was no one to say that it was him that did it. Even if someone like that did show up he knew at least two other people that used blue flames and were more likely to burn down a village to a crisp. He had covered all his bases.
"Of course that village was doomed to be destroyed anyway. Who gathers up a bunch of half demons and expect nothing to happen. Serves them right for treating those kids so badly." Of course he knew how those kids felt and that was why he released them from the imprisonment. Though he doubted any of them survived the even the night. He had not even planned to save them. It just happened that they were there along the way. "That is all I know about the event. If you want to know more you have to find the people that covered the deaths of the people"
He hoped she would not probe further into this incident since it was likely that she would find out more of these events that occurred. Though that one was the one with the most deaths. He had tried to keep those numbers as low as possible. He now leaned back. "Anything else you want to know?" He was going to skip his turn for now. Mainly because he had no question ask. He was really waiting for the question about the flame on the stage, but he was not going to rush her. She could take all the time she wanted to ask about that. She might even forget about it and not ask him if he kept her far from that question.

Axel looked at Elric with interest, wondering how many people had blue flames. The only way she could get blue on a flame was when it was hot enough. But that wasn't the same thing. And she hadn't seen any cold fire, a fire that cooled you instead of heating you up, since she was a little kid. Cold fire makers were rare as far as the fire dancer was concerned and she never took any real action to find one. But that blue flame hadn't been cold fire or something like that. It had been something special.
As for a whole village disappearing, Axel was pretty sure she hadn't heard about that. No doubt it had been big news and spread all across Xisin. So it had happened around that time. She wondered if fire elementals like herself had also been suspected even though she couldn't conjure up flame, blue or normal. When Elric said something about half demons, the fire dancer's mind shot back to the song that often found its way into the air around her. Her eyes lit up for a moment before returning to normal. "Hmmm I do believe you skipped your turn but alright~ What's your family like?" the question stumbled from Axel's lips before she had time to change her line of thought to something else.

"Mother's dead, father might as well be. I have no intention of eve associating with him." Very simple and to the point. There really was no point into going into detail about his parents. They were not the best people to grow up around for the little time that he had with them. He was not comfortable talking about his family since it brought up is mixed heritage and that was something that he had no desire to talk about. He was not even going to bring it up. She might as well believe that he was the furthest thing from a demon. Though he could not help it when he got angry when he thought about his father. His eyes for a second shifted red and returned to their normal blue.
"Yes I did skip my turn. Alright here is my question. What are you? I have seen plenty of fire dancers on my travels and well scared most of them. You however do more than manipulate fire you control it to your will. Your not a normal human. You have to be something more." He was going out on a limb here, but he hoped that he was right. It would give him a better clue why his blue flame had left his palm and made it to the stage. It was still bothering him. He may not like using his flame, but it was his and he did not like when it was outside of his control even for a second.
He looked at his bracelet wondering if it was safe to have it shown so openly. It was one of the items he could not get stolen no matter what happened to him. He covered the bracelet and looked back at Axel. He had not talked so much in a long time. It felt nice to not have to worry about taking out the person that was siting in front of you. However he was not going to let his guard down just yet.

Axel wondered how Elric had gotten on bad terms with his father but didn't feel like drawing attention back to families or the like. After all, the person across from her wasn't the only one to have past problems. As his eyes flashed red for a moment, Axel found herself wondering what he was. After seeing his flame and his eyes, along with all that blood on his old shirt, caused her to deny the fact he was human. But he couldn't be something that was obvious as well, like a kitsune or something that didn't appear human.
She stayed silent after he asked the question, not knowing what to say. Instead she looked back outside for a second, seeing some water sprinkling onto the ground. No doubt that it would soon become a storm by the quiet thunder she could hear that was miles away. Her face became slightly serious when she turned back to Elric, still not knowing what to say. "I don't know what I am." the fire elemental said bluntly.
At a young age she had been adopted by a large family. Her parents were human but weren't freaked out that one of their adopted daughters could control fire. Actually, one of her brothers could control fire too, but Axel couldn't be burned like he could. Recently she had found out that it was quite uncommon to be unburnable, which had gotten her thinking again. She knew that something had probably happened to her real parents and that the couple that adopted her were probably friends. After all, they never said anything about her real parents and when she used to ask abut them their faces would turn glum. Though it didn't really bother her. After all, how can you miss someone that you can't even remember?
"So, what are you?"

"I guess it is better sometimes not to know what you are. You may regret it when you find out." Elric took his cup and finished the water within it. He would have given anything not have never found out his father was a demon. Then he could have gone his whole life thinking that he was a pure blood human. Though he doubted that thought more than he knew. All he had to think of was hi other form to realize that eventually it would have come out and caused troubled. In his case it was better to know than to remain ignorant to the truth.
Elric noticed the rain starting to fall. He looked out the window like he was expecting to see something. It looked the master would not send anyone for him during the rainfall. He would be free until the rain stopped or he decided to go back and see if the man had calmed down. He turned back to Axel and wondered what to do. He really did not have much questions to ask her. He had asked all that he really wanted to know. He really was not that good at asking others about themselves. If he thought about it hard he could come up with a question, but he really did not what to do something like that. He preferred to ask questions and get the answers that he wanted to hear. Not just ask for the sake of asking.
"As for me I am human, mostly. I got a little bit of non-human blood in me. Nothing that special. Just enough to give me some special powers." Of course he was more demon then human, but he was not going to say that. It was like he was lying his mother was human after all. It was just that he inherited more traits from his father than from his mother. He looked away from Axel trying to hide the saddened expression on his face when he thought of his mother.

Axel silently nodded at Elric's statement, totally agreeing. As long as she appeared human enough, it was all good. Still, it kind of bothered her not to actually know what she was. The only thing she really knew was that she had control over an element. She could be human but were humans as powerful as the fire dancer? She had no idea really. Even though the elemental acted the way she did, it was rare to actually sit down with someone and talk like this. But it was pretty nice now that the fire dancer thought about it.
Axel glared out the window for a moment as water fell from the sky. The few days she could be in a different city and it rains? Just her luck. She would be stuck indoors until it stopped or until she found an umbrella to use. Before looking back at Elric, the fire dancer took a quick glance around. Elric had seemed to be looking for something for a moment there. A friend? Maybe. Either way, it didn't seem as if anyone else in the restaurant was effected by the rain or lack of sunshine. Did it rain here a lot? Hopefully it didn't.
Mostly human? Axel tilted her head at this, wondering what other kind of blood he had in him. Not something that would make a huge difference it seemed. So probably not a shape-shifter's, vampire's, or a werebeing's blood. The fire dancer was about to say something about it when Elric turned away. Though he hid it well, she caught a bit of sadness on the male's face, which made her close her mouth.
It was silent a moment, the only noise she could hear being the quiet talking of others and the now pouring rain on the roof. The silent felt oddly awkward to Axel, a feeling she neither liked or was used to. But how do you break such an atmosphere? The elemental took her chances, and after a moment of hesitation, decided to drag them away from that topic. "So what might you be doing in the city of Obscur?" she said carefully, hoping that didn't lead to something worse.

"I live here. Well more to say I have a residence to return to here. I spend most of my time working and travelling than living here." He said without a second thought. It was his standard answer and it was not revealing that he was nothing more than a do it all foe his boss and all the terrible things he had to do. He had gotten used to doing such deeds that it did not even affect him. He only hated the job because he did not have a choice in doing the jobs. He was nothing more than a slave to that man. He was becoming more like his father and he did not like that part. It was trying to find a way to remain human, but he was becoming more of a demon every day.
He clenched his fist under the table not wanting to show Axel how much he disliked doing his job. He did not want to get her involved. The boss might take a liking to her and then he did not want to think of what he would do to keep her. After all he was under such a situation right now. He looked out the window and saw a person from the house. It looked like some had been sent to find him. He was going to have to move right now, before they checked the restaurant. He motioned to the waiter to make his way to them. He then turned to Axel. "Mind if we relocate. I do not feel that good remaining here right now." As the waiter approached he looked at the man. He was going to have to use him to deliver the message to the owner.
"Tell the owner that I will pick up the information later. I also need an umbrella seeing that it is raining outside." He then turned to Axel. "If you need anything right now, you should order it. It is on me." He told the waiter to wait for Axel's response. He was not going to have him leave and then come back and leave. It was just too troublesome and took too much time too complete. He did not want to see that old man right now or anyone related to him.

Axel took no notice of Elric's hatred, instead wondering what he did for work. If he lived here but still travelled around it probably wasn't an entertainer like herself. This city was full of clubs, bars, and the such in need of entertainers. In such need that a bar would hire someone that could burn down the whole building or accidently made an explosion because of the alchol. Probably not the smartest idea...
Axel shook her head when Elric asked her if she minded relocating. As long as she didn't get too wet she would be fine. The fire dancer wondered if she needed anything else. Matches? She had a few packs in one of her pockets, so she was good there. Clothes? Her costume was fine seeing as she didn't care if people saw some of her skin. It wasn't as if they could see something explict, just her stomach and her legs. She just wasn't really shy when it came to that. If the elemental was, would she have her costume like this? Her tattoos were covered, hair as annoying as ever, and luck still strange. Good to go!
Axel shook her head and streched like a cat, deciding she didn't need anything. And the bar she was working at didn't need her until tomarrow, so she was good there too. "I don't need anything." the fire dancer said, wonderin why they were moving. Did it have something to do with the thing Elric had been looking for out the window?

The waited nodded and left the table. Elric knew that it was not going to take too long to get the umbrella. He pulled out three gold coins and placed them on the table. He wanted to pay less however the umbrella was going to cost him more than normal due to the weather outside. If only they did not arrange their prices based on the needs of the customer, but then he would have trouble getting what he needed if it was sold out. As long as the prices remained reasonable he had no reason to not come back. He looked at the window quickly to see where the man was. It looked like he was still not heading towards their location. However he could not take the chance at waiting any longer.
As he got up the waiter was approaching the table again. He took the umbrella and turned back to Axel. He motioned for her to follow him. They were not going to take the front exit, that would be took risky. the two of them together would stick out too much and he would be found right away. Luckily he knew the location of the back exit and had free use of it. He made his way past the other staff and the a door. He pulled out a key and unlocked the door and made his way through it into the tunnels. The tunnel was dark with no light source, but Elric did not dare to light a blue flame here. He was just going to have to use his memory to get out. There was only one turn in th path, but if it was missed you would end up outside of the town with no way back in.
"In case you get lost it is the sixth corridor that you turn right at. After that it is a straight walk forward to the exit." THe last thing he needed was this girl getting lost in the corridors and ending up god knows where. He kept his hand on the right wall as he walked counting the corridors until he passed the sixth one. That was their turn. He quickly lit a small flame just to double check if he was right. Within a few seconds the flame was gone and only darkness remained. He started to make his way down the corridor and to the exit. As he walked he started to feel the breeze and smell the rain that was falling. They were almost there. He finally reached a door and opened with just the turn of a knob. As he walked up he opened the umbrella not wanting to get soaked by the rain that was coming down. He looked around and saw that there was no one in the alleyway. Looked like he was safe for now.

Axel slipped out of the booth after Elric, looking at the front window for a moment before following. No one seemed to be passing by, so where was he heading? The staff didn't seem that surprised but the fire dancer was a bit. Following him though, she did hear small whispers about something while a few staff members looked their way. What were they saying? Maybe Elric acted like this. Then again, Elric hadn't seemed like this when Axel had tracked him down.
Axel's footsteps faltered for a moment as the tunnels' darkness came into her line of sight. No, she wasn't afriad of the dark. The fire dancer bit her lip as Elric stepped into the tunnels. Was she still scared? After all this time? With a deep breath, the elemental ran into the tunnels after Elric, listening to his footsteps as she squeezed her eyes shut and followed him. She was still afriad of the dark. That much she woud admit as she followed after the male, eyes tightly shut. When a breeze finally made its way to Axel, she slowly opened her eyes to find Elric ahead of her, already out of the tunnels and with the umbrella open.
She calmed herself, not letting her body sprint out of the remaining darkness and trough the door. Instead, she calmly walked from the tunnels, quickly getting under the umbrella as well. Once beyond the door and back outside, Axel easily became herself again. "So what was that about?" the fire dancer asked, voice slightly quieter.
