The village leader turned back into a wolf and followed after the demon quickly. She stopped at the front door after the demon kicked it in. There weren't any child in the infimrary right now, so why was the kidnapper here? She ran in after remembering the child they had been taking care of, a strong aura hitting her. The wolf looked on the scene and snarled at the body, who was clearly no longer inhabitated by the boy's soul.
At the sight of Sarah, her growling back louder. She ran forward and jumped at her, knocking the healer off her feet before she could touch that thing. "Traitor! You gave over my son! You dirty traitor!" she snarled, sharp teeth in view. Her light colored fur was raised and it was obvious that the leader was furious.

The body smirked and slowly its appearence changed. Black pupils became white and turned into swirls and the gold hair turned a raven feather's black. Small fangs appeared and ever so slowly the creature's attention turned to the woman that had tried to hug him. It turned toward the intruders, the doll that smelled of a soul, and then finally to the person that called him into this world.
Only a moment later blood splattered the floor and the weaker demon with silver hair was clutching at his torn throat in vain. The creature ripped at the body, drinking and eating. After another few moments he looked back at the other demon in the room, face splattered with random spots of blood. "It seems you've taken the soul I planned to eat. I order you to hand it over, demon."

Sora awakene and noticed that he wasn't in his body. No, he knew this because it had just attacked someone. Instead he was in a strange thing that held his soul. When his body spoke, the doll's eyes widened. Reiga would have to listen to the thing! "No, I order you to not give me over to anyone Reiga!" blurted out the summoner. He didn't like to order the person currently holding his soul but he had to this time.

Reiga stood here frozen as he saw sora's body change. He held the the soul in his hands but he knew he was in a bad situation. For right now it was like he had two masters. He needed to get the thing out of the kid's body before it completely took over. The problem was that the new being had killed the demon that had summoned it. He did not know what to do. The next moments would prove to be the most important. He looked down at the circle and paused. He knew what spell was used, but he knew not how to reverse it. All he knew was that he had to keep Sora's soul away from his body right now. If he soul would disappear then the summoning would be complete.
However when the creature ordered him to hand over Sora's soul he panicked. He did not want to lose the soul of the person he contracted with. That was his meal to eat. He had agreed to serve for the soul. That creature could not have it, bit he knew he had to obey. He could not disobey an order. He was about to move when he heard a contradicting order. This time from the doll. He knew that the one with his name superseded the first order and her was not going to do it. After all it went along with his desire to keep Sora's soul to himself. "I can not give you a soul that is rightfully mine. You will need to find another soul instead." He made sure not to let the demon anywhere near Sora and his temporary body. After it was his order to protect what was his.
Sarah lay on the floor after she had been knocked down by the leader. The demon lied, that was not her brother. It was a monster. It was suppose to be her brother but it was not. "You lied. You were suppose to bring him back. I brought them to you so you could bring back my brother." It was then that she realized that she had been manipulated by the demon to do what he wanted. She was not the master. She was nothing more than his puppet and now he was going to throw her away. To be dealt with the village as they saw fit. So instead she turned to the leader.
"You sacrificed my brother for your own needs. All you left him to die when I was away. All of you betrayed me before I betrayed you. What does it feel like to loose something important. Do you feel weak an without hope." She still remembered the day she received the news that her brother had died. She had left the village to help another deal with a epidemic and she had stayed longer than she thought she would. It was only when she got back did she learn that they allowed stranger to the village kill her brother. She had fallen into a depression until she had met the demon that had promised to bring back her brother. And now she had lost everything.

The leader snarled down at the healer, sharp white teeth parted slightly. "I should kill you!" she growled, eyes locked onto the healer's. The woman in front of her had killed so many children for nothing. Her eyes flashed something dangerous and she glared at the woman even more. "You are an idiot! Your brother was killed by the same demon when he was attacked in your own house while you were gone! Don't think that I am the same as the likes of you! You should know the most that I am the one to sacrifice herself!" the wolf snarled, knowing that the woman in front of her was falling into madness.
What she had said was true. The leader was always the one to fight and protect others and whenever a battle arouse between villagers, she would run to the middle and take the hits intended for the other without striking back. The reason she did this was to protect the villagers, even from themselves. The leader visted the woman in front of her more often then any other villager and had countless scars. "Do you think your brother is watching over you very happily right now?! You've killed your own villagers! Your brother is turning away in shame!" the wolf said, raising her nose to the roof at her first sentence.

The demon glared at the other demon in the room, displeased. He ignored the doll which held the soul and stood, grimacing at the body. "You think he would have given me a better body then this." the creature said, giving a kick to the corpse. A dark smile appeared on the male's face as he listened to the taller male. "Why would you want a human's soul so much? There are many others in this world." he asked, smirking without getting the blood from his face.
"Don't tell me that you have some sort of bond with that soul." the creature laughing after he said this. Why would a demon even want to speak to such a thing? Other species were below the demons, so why was the demon defending a soul? "We can split the soul." the male said, darkness dancing in his eyes.

Sora stayed silent, wondering what would happen to his soul. Not at the moment of course, but when his body passed away. He wouldn't become anything else. He wouldn't move on. The summoner would be stuck somewhere with either Reiga or another demon. Would they eat his soul? And what would happen if they did? His life essence would just be...gone. He would just cease to exist?

Reiga was appalled at the idea of splitting Sora's soul. There was no way he was going to do that. It would go against everything he had been fighting for until this very moment. What would the other demons say if he went ahead and did this. There was no way he was going to split the soul in half. "Because it is not a human's soul at all. It's better then that and why I want it not your business. All you need to understand is that the soul belongs to me and I will not split it with you." He held the kids soul closer to him. The demon could not find out what ancestors this kid had. It was just to dangerous to even think about what other demons would do. However, he still did not want anything to do with the boy. Having the soul would just be too troublesome. Not that he was going to tell the kid.
He quickly turned to the two females on the ground. He needed their help to do what was necessary to stop the demon, but first he needed to clear something up. "The kids are alive, but without souls. If we can reverse the spell cast their souls should return. However that is only one outcome. Now stop your bickering and help me out!" He then looked down at Sora. "You too. Just so you know this doll can not keep a living soul in it forever. It will reject you eventually and then you will no longer have a defense line against that demon." He had no idea how long the doll was going to last and he was not going to make any promises. It would only cause unneeded problems.
Sarah did not believe the leader. She did not want to believe that the demon had killed her brother was the same one that was dead now. She was lying. She had to be. There was just no way. She would have knowing if it was the same creature. The leader was lying to her. A part of her knew that what she was saying was the truth but she was not willing to listen to it all. It would have made her appear like she was being controlled before she met the demon and that the demon had killed her brother just for this purpose. "What do you know about my brother. Did you know how we suffered and how we kept each other going. Did anyone ever think of trying to help me."
She was about to say more when she heard Reiga's remarks toward them. The children could still be saved. He had to be lying. The other demon said that there was no way. Once the spell was complete. That was why she wanted her brother. They could not take him away afterwards. However she wanted this creature gone. She did not want to see want her love for her brother had done. She looked at the leader. "Kill me if it makes you feel better. Everything I did was for my brother. I only regret I did not see the demon's true intentions earlier." She had no intention of helping them. She was not even going to tell them were the children were. They would find them eventually.

The wolf's form melted into the leader's and she looked down on the healer, holding back herself from attacking the woman. "I order you to help reverse what you have done and then you shall leave this village with your belongings." she said after taking in Reiga's words. Her son and all of the other children could be saved and the leader wasn't going to waste time harming Sarah.
The werewolf turned back to Reiga, the doll, and the summoned demon while carefully taking out one of her swords. Her eyes stopped at the creature and studied him as if trying to find a weakness of some sorts. "Now," the leader started speaking to Reiga, not taking her eyes off of the demon, "tell me everything you know about this thing."
-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-
The demon shifted his gaze at the doll which held the soul he was to eat as if trying to see what it was. The body he was in appeared human enough. After a few moments he decided that he didn't really care what it was. He just cared that he needed it to complete the summoning and after that he would be able to cause as much mayhem and chaos as he wanted. His eyes flitted back to Reiga with a cruel smile on his lips.
"I'm afraid that soul belongs to me. Why else would I be in it's own body? Oh, and I'm afraid that there will be no reversing this summoning as long as I'm here. None of you possess the powers to summon demons, so how would you be able to send one back?" the creature said, laughing. He took a step towards Sora's soul and Reiga, growing tired of this game.
-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-
Sora was snapped from his thoughts and looked up at Reiga, wondering how he could actually help in any way while in such a state. He felt so stupid for everything that had happened wrong that day. Not looking where he was going, hurting himself, not being able to help himself instead of relying on Reiga, falling for the healer's tricks, and everything else. The doll's small shoulders sagged even farther at the creature's last statement. "I can't do anything!" the male said, frustation clear in the voice that came from the doll.

"See that is where you are wrong. This soul and I have a contract. An therefore you trying to take the soul from me is a violation of what the rules state. If you want the soul you need a contract with it as well. Taking its body will not supersede the previous agreement. Therefore I have no choice but to expel you from that body." Reiga flicked his wrist and a card appeared in his hand. He summoned the sword within it and the blade burst into flames. He held it up between the him and the demon. Normally he would fight, but he was greatly limited in both space and movement. Plus he had to protect his master from danger as well. He took another step back and hit a wall. It looked like he could not go back any further then this. He looked at the village leader and Sarah and then back to the demon. This was no a good situation at all.
"Kid you may not be in you body, but you are still linked to it. Therefore you should be able to use you powers. Look at the circle and figure out the counter spell to send him back." He had been tempted for a second just to hand over his depressed master and just end his life then. However the contract would still exist with the demon and that was not something he wanted. He did not want to serve this demon at all. He was going to have to make him work hard even if he did not want to. "All I know is that is a powerful demon at least at my level, he could be higher. He never introduced himself, so I can not say. But I am sure that unlike me he is one that loves to create chaos and destruction. As for me I just like to watch it. And you may be the leader of this town, but you are not my master. So next time ask me, do not order me around." He looked at the demon and smiled at him. He was going to have to come up with an idea fast. He knew he did not have the physical strength to fight this thing head on. If only they were not in this house he could summon more dangerous magical weapons.
Sarah looked at everything with shock. The leader and Reiga were going to fight this thing. Why were they so determined to stop it? It was just one demon. They should leave the job for professionals. She did not know how she could help, she only knew where to find the children. "Even if I wanted to help. I can not. I don't know anything about the spell he used or how it works. I only did as I was told." She then turned to the demon. She wanted to survive and the only way she could think of doing it was allying herself with the demon. He seemed much stronger then the leader and Reiga. She crawled to him. "Please spare me. I will sure you and do what ever you desire. Just take me away from this place." She did not touch the demon fearing if she did it would kill her on the spot.

The leader looked down at Sarah with disbelief. What in Xisin was the healer saying? She watched as the healer crawled over to the demon and her breath caught, waiting for the demon to do something. Slowly, the demon seemed to notice her after speaking to Reiga. He looked down at her, smiling in childish glee. Hadn't Sarah seen what had just happened to the demon that had brought this creature into the world?
"So your the type who likes following the orders of lower species, ne? And besides, if you haven't noticed, I don't exactly follow 'rules'." the demon said, the grin of a predator toying with its prey plastered on his face. He took another step, eyes turned to the doll as he wondered if it had any protections on it. They wouldn't hurt him enough for him to care, though sometimes people put things to kill the soul in such objects. Then again, the demon in front of him seemed to care enough about keeping the soul.
When the woman crawled over to him, the creature's face twisted with a child's glee. He had something else to eat in the meantime. He raised a hand, fingernails lengthening into claws, and slashed down at the pathetic woman. His claws barely scratched her cheek before he withdrew his hand, licking the light blood from the claws. At the taste of an innocent's blood, he turned back to the woman and was about to severe her head from her body until his claws were met with a steel sword.
A displeased expression crossed the demon's face and he looked up to see the stupid mutt grabbing his prey from him. The woman that had grovelled at his feet was flung back from the creature with surprising strength. "Why must people always try to protect each other?"
Sora shut his eyes and concentrated, blocking out the actions of everyone else. He felt a small pull towards the general direction of his body and realized that Reiga was right, he was still connected even though his soul was free. He pictured himself back in his body and the creature in the circle across from himself. A powerful aura came from the creauter but the summoner continued, starting a small chant under his breath. Both the circle he was picturing and the real circle began to glow a blue hue.

Until this point Reiga had remained calm. His goal was to just have the demon leave the body and let it do whatever it wanted afterwards, but now it was different. He was angry. How dare he assume he was that kind of demon. He had been tricked into a contract. "There is no way I would serve these creatures willingly. Don;t you dare put me in the same level as those demons. I am not like them at all. This is a one time deal and that is it. Once I am done I will not do this thing again." He knew how it happened. He had sensed the dragon lineage in the kid and he wanted his soul just because of it. It was rare to get a dragon soul and even one like this was not something he was going to give up. Well at least until the kid released him from the contract. Then his soul could go to who ever grabs it first.
He kept the sword between them as the demon's attention was moved to the healer. He did not care what happened to the woman, for all he cared she could die. If it was not for her they would not be in this current situation. He decided that if given the chance of being alone with her she should die. However, he knew that he could not do it while around Sora. He would try to stop him. "Who knows. I really do not care about the thoughts and desires of humans. As long as they do not bother me I could care less about their lives." He had no intention of helping the leader fight the demon. His job was to protect Sora and make sure he sent the demon back to where it came from. After all his orders came first.
Sarah could not move when she felt the demon attack her. She had not expected him to do that even though she had seen what it had done to the other demon. However movement returned to her body as she flew backwards. The demon had tried to kill her and she did not even try to protect herself. It was the leader that had saved her. Why did she do it. She had caused them so much pain and yet she was being protected. It made no sense to her at all. She saw the circle start to glow and she remained silent. She did not want the demon to realize what was happening. She just kept on looking at the demon not saying anything.

The leader suddenly found herself throwing Sarah from the demon in the hopes that maybe no more blood would be spilled that night. The demon didn't give chase and before he could she jumped back from the circle, out of the reach of the creature. She gave a harsh stare to the healer but didn't speak, looking back to the demon. "Because we're stupidly loyal." she answered, watching as the circle began to glow.
The demon smirked at Reiga, taking the words in. What was so special about that soul? The creature stared at the doll, which had its eyes closed at the moment. Perhaps it was denying the soul already? "I order you, lower demon, to tell me why exactly that soul is so different from all the other ones present in this land." the creature said, watching the doll as its lips moved slowly. Praying or something? Stupid little soul, thinking that praying would help it.
Sora continued to try and block out the outside noise, chanting becoming faster paced. The air surrounding the edges of the circle glowed blue as well, making a sort of forcefield around the circle. The creature's eyes widened as he looked down to see the circle he was trapped in glowing even more brightly now. He grimaced then and lept at the forcefield, clawing at it.
((Sorry for the shortness!))

Reiga could hear Sora chanting. Was this how he summoned him in the first place. He shook his head. It was not important right now. All that mattered was getting that demon out of Sora's body and away from here as fast as possible. "Che," he muttered when he heard the order from the demon. He had asked the question that he did not want to answer and in this case he had to answer it since it was an order not a request. The only problem was that he did not want Sora to know the answer to that question. and with the kid in his arm he was bound to heard the response. It was a bad situation until he noticed that there was a field set up keeping the demon from leaving the circle. He could place the kid down with worrying about being attacked be the other demon. That was just what he was going to do.
He made his was to a counter which had a clear view of the circle. He placed the doll down and made his way to the demon trapped within the circle. He stayed slightly away from the circle. "He has dragon blood flowing through his veins," he whispered to the demon. He had now fulfilled his order and was free to do what he wanted. "And I am no longer a lower demon. I am a duke now. Times have changed since you last appeared my dear demon, Erebus," he continued in a low tone so that the others could not hear. Of course Riega knew of Erebus, who in hell had not. Most chose to forget demons that vanished, but he did not. He was not going to let an off chance that the demon was alive ruin everything for him. After all being caught off guard in hell could lead to ones death as many of his victims had learned. He stood straight and looked at Erebus waiting for his soul to be taken out of Sora's body.
((No movement from the healer))

Sora didn't feel his temporary body set down, instead focusing on the circle he saw. The image of his body, which held the creature, was replaced with a dark red soul. The demon cursed as the circle brightened and suddenly a soul was seperated from Sora's real body. The summoner's soul also seperated from the doll and hung in the air for a moment. It then was pulled to its body, disappearing into the small male's chest. The raven black hair slowly lightening back to a golden color and the visible fangs shrunk back into the safety of the boy's mouth.
Erebus's soul zoomed towards Reiga and disappeared as well, this time into the chest of the demon. Sora's body didn't move but the circle had disappeared, chalk drawing and all. The only things that showed something had happened were the blood stains and the blood on Sora's face. The dead lower demon's remains had disappeared as well, probably sicking back to wherever he had come from.
After a few long and silent moments, Sora's body began to breathe again, chest slowly rising and falling. After a few more moments, mismatched eyes opened to find his pupils back to normal as well. The summoner was tired, that was for sure. It took up energy to try and send back a powerful demon, especially when it wasn't in a contract with him. The male's eyes landed on Reiga and he smiled a bit shakily. "We're never talking about this again." Sora joked lightly, carefully sitting up.

Reiga's eyes could not help but widen when the soul entered his body. He could not believe that he had let his defenses low enough so that the other demon's soul could enter his body. He stood there half expectant to find himself ejected from his body but he was still there. He was still in his body. He had no idea what that demon had done, but he did not want to worry Sora so he was not going to say anything to him. What the kid did not know could not hurt him. He made his way back to the doll and returned it into the card along with the flame sword. With both demons gone there was no need to fight anymore. Unless the leader had another bone to pick with him. He returned to Sora and knelt down beside him, he should wake up soon. As he did he smiled at him. Though he did not like working for him, the kid had come through in the last minute. He was not a useless kid after all.
"Is that an order a request? Because you earned some respect in my book. Other summoners would have given up by now. Though you did need some encouragement from me. Oh what a day a demon helping to save the kingdom for a single soul." He wanted to say more when he heard the muffled sounds of children. So they were not taken out of the city after all. He looked at the healer and at the leader. His guess had been right, but it was mostly due to the fact the Sora had used the right counter spell. He did not move from that spot. He did not care for the lives of the children, they were there to keep to two from killing each other and forgetting the real enemy in front of them. He got up and stood there waiting for Sora to join him. He wanted to leave this town.
Sarah sat there as the demon left Sora's body. She did not see it enter Reiga's body at all. Not that she care much. After all this meant that she was going to have to leave the town and find a new home. Maybe it was best to return to where her parents had grown up. The leader had said she could leave after all this. She got up and made her way to the edge of the room. She moved all the furniture and revealed a trap door on the floor. She opened it revealing a tunned under the house. "Your children are at the end of this tunnel. They are safe and sound if what that demon said was right." She then moved away so that the leader could go and check on the children. "There is another exit at the end of the tunnel." She then made her way to her room to start to pack her things. She wanted to be out of this place before the other villagers realized what she had done. They were not going to be as lienant as the leader.

Sora stuck his tongue out at the demon kneeling in front of him. No, he didn't even know why Reiga had saved him really. He could have just taken the doll away and took out his soul. "Maybe you care about other people more then you thought." the summoner said, smiling. When noises came from under the floor, the male was surprised before remembering about the children. He stood up carefully, wiping blood off of his face and onto his sleeve, and made his way over to the trap door just as the leader went under the floor herself.
Sora looked back at Reiga and lifted a finger up, signalling to wait a second. He also went down the trapdoor and was surprised about what was under the house. It was a spacious tunnel with dim lighting. The children, all twelve of them, were surrounding the village leader and looks of happiness of being rescued were all over their faces. One child, a small boy, was in the leader's arms. The summoner made his way over to the leader, children wondering who the stranger was. "Thank you for your help. And make sure to tell your friend thanks as well." she said, smiling as the little boy shyly looked away.
Sora popped back up onto the main floor a moment later, just noticing his ankle was all better. His face became confused and he lifted his pant leg, only seeing the bandages Sarah had put on. The younger male took them off, only to see the ankle totally repaired. Maybe it was good to have a demon take over your body. Actually, it wasn't. Sora looked up at Reiga, smiling, and walked over to the demon. "Where to now?" he asked, forgetting that Reiga probably wanted to go back to his home. "I mean if you don't want to go back to wherever you live." he said quickly.

Reiga laughed at the comment. Him care. Obviously this kid did not not about his real motives at all. He must not have been informed about what demon will do to get the souls they want. And who was he to inform him. After all his job was to follow orders not to explain his actions. And he was given the order to protect him. He could be possessive, but to care for another creature was not within his capabilities. After all this person he was playing was just an act and nothing more. He watched Sora go to the corner and into the trap door. "You really should be careful around your demons. Not all of us have the patience to wait for your soul to mature," He said as he stood up. He was going to follow him just in case there was another trap but stopped when he saw a shadow in his vision. He turned around and saw Erebus. But in his true form this time. He summoned a regular blade.
"Wouldn't you rather use that on the healer. After all she put your master in danger. You should kill her. It is not that hard. Just stab her with the blade and kill her." Erebus said as he floated over and whispered into Reiga's ear. He smiled as he continued to urge Reiga to kill the healer. Even if he could not take over this body he knew that this demon was not that different from him when it came to wanting to cause chaos. The problem was that he was holding himself back. Reiga tried to ignore the demon but he would not stop. He covered his ears but he could still hear clearly. The problem in all this was that he really wanted to kill the healer, but unless she proved still to be a danger to Sora he had no planning of doing so. He saw that Sora was not back yet. What he did not know could not hurt him. It would only take a second to kill the healer.
He smiled and made his way to where Sarah was. "Did you honestly think you would get away with harming my master and get away with it." He stabbed her with the blade piercing her heart. He released the blade and left her there to die. He did not need to see her final moments and Sora would be back soon. He made his way back to the main room and waited as Sora came out none the wiser of what he had done. "Where ever you want. I will stay as long as you want me around or until you release me from the contract." Erebus smiled as he continued to float behind Reiga. This demon was worth entering, there was more to him then he had sen before. But he was still a lower demon. Eventually he was going to be the one in control of this body.

Sora remained oblivious to what had happened while down in the tunnel. He thought the scent of blood was either on him or on the floor where the other demon had been slaughtered. The summoner tilted his head in thought only to be interupted by a small yawn. How much energy had he used sending (well, he thought he had) back the demon. Tying that with how it was somewhere near midnight and he hadn't gotten much sleep recently made the summoner feel pretty tired.
But Sora had to do something first. "Hey Reiga, do you know where there might be any other summoners?" he asked, looking up at the demon again. He had learned a few things tonight but he still wanted to know something. It wasn't like he could just find his tutor from however long ago. His tutor had been in the Kingdom of Sanchu, way too far from here.
So there were quite a few things on Sora's to do list. Find another summoner at some point, find an inn or someone to stay with away from this village, and his all-time goal, which would be to find the dragon that had murdered his mother. Though the male seriously doubted that the last and most important goal could be done tonight.
