Riega looked at Sora. Why would he want to meet other summoners. Had that healer put some thoughts in his head that he had not thought before. He suddenly regretted killing that woman before he questioned her. Well it was to late now to fix it. She was dead already. He looked at Erebus and sighed. He was going to have to be careful. There was no way that creature was just going to sit by and not try to gain control. However he was not sure how the demon was going to try and do such a thing. It was not clear yet and he did not want to find out. He looked back at Sora deciding to ignore Erebus for now. He would only cause more trouble then good. Though he was quite suspicious on why Sora was not just asking him what he wanted to know. Obviously the kid did not trust him and ask what was on his mind.
He thought clearly about the question. He knew quite a few summoners by name. Mainly because they had tried to summon him, but calling a demon was more then just knowing how to call them. They needed to have something he wanted. So he had never met any of them. Though if asked he should be able to locate them. "I might know a few. Though I do not see the point of going to visit them." Erebus sighed at the response. What was wrong with this demon? Why had he not killed the kid so long ago. He was obviously stronger than him. Why was he helping him? "Come on just kill him and lets go have some fun. Or do you want him to wallow in his despair when he finds out what will happen to him if he continues to stay in a contract with him. Oh, so evil." Reiga swatted Erebus, but to everyone else it looked like he was just swatting air. Why doesn't he just shut up, he thought to himself.
"Hey don't tell me to shut up. I can hear your thoughts." Reiga tried to hold back his surprise when Erebus said that. He did not want Sora to know or it could cause more harm. "I could tell you where they are, but honestly, I don't want to." Like he was going to want to visit the other summoners so willingly. He ignored their original summons so why should he go with a kid that knows nothing about what he is in for.

Sora pouted slightly, wondering why Reiga was usually difficult over such simple things. Well, it wasn't like the summoner was going to ask the demon in front of him that or ask him what he needed to ask another summoner. Instead the male let out a small sigh from his nose and looked up at the sky, trying to guess the time. He didn't even know if there were any other towns around this one, not to mention if they had a summoner living there. From what the young male had seen over the years, summoners didn't just exist everywhere even though you only needed a little magic power to become one.
Then again, Sora wasn't one to give up at the first obsticle. Instead he looked back at Reiga, eyes slightly narrowed. A person could tell by the look he was giving to the demon that he wasn't just going to drop the subject and skip to the next thing on his list. "You don't have to come with me. I just need to know where I can find the nearest summoner." Sora said, still pouting slightly. Why was Regia trying to keep him away from other summoners? Or, maybe, the demon just didn't feel like more summoners trying to make a contract with him?
During this, Sora didn't catch the look of surprise on Reiga's face or the swatting action. He had been looking at the moon at the time, though he still hadn't guessing what time it might be. "What do I have to do for you to tell me?" the male asked, expression staying stubborn. No, he wasn't going to order the demon in front of him or just forget about what he had heard. He needed to know.

Reiga sighed and started to walk out of the village. He had no intention of dealing with Sora when he was stubborn. He had no intention of telling him where to find summoners. If he wanted to find them he was going to have to search for them himself. After all there were plenty ways of finding summoners and asking a demon is just one of them. To him it was not just about finding a summoner it was about what he wanted to ask them. If the kid knew too much about what it really meant to enter a contract he might change his actions towards him. Or worse another demon might tell him about the unique soul he has. He walked forward. He did not want a master that ordered him around contrary to what he constantly said to Sora. He only said it because he knew that the kid would not order him around.
When he heard the question from Sora, he turned around and looked at him. "Give up your search for revenge and I will tell you." He had not even realized he said it until he had finished. Of course his normal response would have been to release him from the contract, but he guessed since he was thinking about dragon he could not help but say that out loud. After all the dragon that he was looking for knew about his heritage and it was his goal to make sure that the kid did not find out about his dragon blood until he accepted dragon and admitted that they were not all evil. He then turned around and kept on walking. He was sure that the kid would say no to that anyway so there was no point in waiting for a response.
Erebus floated beside him and kept an eye on both of them. He wondered who was really the master in this relationship. Though it was true Reiga was the summoned servant, he seemed to be the one in control most of the time and Sora just following him along. Well from what he saw since he had entered this body. "Why don't you tell him the location of the most dangerous summoner. Or one that would do anything to gain you as their demon. I'm sure that it would cause some chaos. Since it looks like this kid is not willing to give you up." He floated past Reiga's line of sight, but was ignored. Erebus did not like being annoyed at all.
((feel free to make Erebus do stuff to annoy reiga. I just can not get into an evil mood somehow))

Sora watched helplessly as Reiga walked away. The demon had to already know that the summoner couldn't just give up. His mother had been killed for no reason by the dragon! There was no way that he could just suddenly give up. What could he say if he came home empty-handed and defeated? His father hadn't approved or denied Sora's journey to get revenge. Actually, his father never said much on the subject, always changing it to something else.
As Reiga moved further away, Sora's face became defiant and he glared up at the retreating demon. No way he was giving up in his revenge. Besides, he could find another summoner or, at the very least, someone else that could answer his question. But what was his question? It floated into his mind and Sora had a hard time to actually put the feelings into the form of a sentence.
What will happen to me?
At the question, Sora scrunched up his face slightly. That didn't seem right for some reason. No, it wasn't just one question. Sora realized this and looked into himself, wondering what could be more important than the first question. After all, wasn't it pretty important to know what would happen to your soul after you passed away? No. The real question came to him then.
Yes, this was the question that Sora needed to ask. If felt much more important to the summoner than the first question and by a large amount. During this most recent internal conflict, Reiga hadn't gotten very far. Sora broke into a run and stopped behind the demon, determination written all over his face. "Just answer me one question." the summoner said, sadness and desperation sneaking their way into his eyes and then into his voice. "I just want to know one thing." he continued, feeling as if a lump was in his throat. Sora forced the next words over the lump and through his mouth.
"Who am I?"
Erebus floated not too far by, snickering. This human seemed slightly unstable for some reason and it felt like it would be fun to mess around with him. "Why don't you tell him, dear little Reiga? Don't you want to see what would happen?" the demon spoke gleefully, floating behind to Sora and putting unseen arms around the boy's shoulders in a hug of some sorts. "Why don't you just answer the question?"

Riega continued to walk when Sora first started to talk. He had no reason to answer any question from him no matter how sad or desperate it sounded. Something like that was not going to move him and make him answer what ever he wanted to know. After all did he not want to find out something from a summoner and not him. The he turned around when he heard the question Why would he go to a summoner to ask this question. Was it not better to ask his father or someone who knew his family. What had he gotten himself into. He looked at Roxas and then at Erebus that had been wrapping his hands around the kid. He did not like that at all. He wanted to yell at him to get away from the kid and mind his own business, but he held himself back. He did not want Sora to notice him.
"You are Sora, a child of you parents and my master. What's more to say. I mean it is you that make who you are." He was not going to listen to Erebus. He could not tell Sora that he was descended from dragons. After all he did not like them so much. "Is there any other stupid questions you would like to ask while you are asking. I guarantee no answers to them." Why was he being so kind to the kid. He should just tell him the truth and yet he was not saying anything. why the hell was he being so ind tot he mortal. Maybe Erebus was right. He should just answer the question. Not like it mattered to him what the kid thought of himself. He was just another master and yet he did not want to listen to Erebus at all. He was nothing like that creature and he was not going to become one like him.
He turned around all angry at himself and continued to walk. He knew he had to ignore Erebus, but it was much harder then it looked. That demon was annoying and only wanted to cause harm. He knew that if he did not want to get hunted down here he had to play his cards right. After all he did not have some of the qualities that other demons had.

Sora's face grew irritated when Reiga only told him the obvious. The demon had to know what he was asking. Who was he? What made the demon in front of him suddenly enter a contract with him? Not who he was as a person but who he had been born as. What was so special about his being -- his soul -- that would have even made Reiga talk to him? As the demon moved forward, Sora reached out and caught onto Reiga's jacket, hoping to make him listen and stop moving.
"That's not what I meant and you know it. Tell me what I am." the summoner said stubbornly, not releasing him grip on the jacket. What ran through his veins that made him different from the humans and other common creatures that lived in the land of Xisin? His father was a common species but what had his mother been? Human, of course. So how was he special? There were probably many just like him.
Erebus watched with a playful smirk on his face. His arms moved to around the young summoner's waist and he placed his head on Sora's shoulder. "Seems your little master isn't very pleased with you. Perhaps you should tell him~" he said in a sing-song tone of voice, obviously pleased with the anger that was beginning to come from the mutt. The demon's face became another one of his gleeful expressions. "Wouldn't it be fun to see his reaction?"

Reiga turned around and pulled his jacket from Sora. He was angry. Why was this kid asking these questions now. He looked at Erebus and then at Sora. "Shut up. Would you both. If you want to know find out on your own. I'm not here to answer your questions. Maybe it was better just to let that demon eat you and be through with you." Of course he did not mean the last part, but he was angry and he was not going to pretend that he was not. Why did this kid have to be insistent on finding out something he did not need to know right now. If he thought the kid could handle the news then he would have said so. Plus it did not help that Erebus was egging him on to tell Sora. That demon would do anything to cause trouble by the looks of it.
He clenched his fist and looked at Sora. "You should just be glad I made a contract with you and yet you have to go and ask why. It's not like I wanted to do so. You caught me off guard and-" He stopped himself. He was about to say that his dragon heritage was irresistible to him. He had to remember to stay quite when he was angry or he might just reveal more then he wanted. He then quickly moved forward and reached for Sora's throat. He wanted to knock him down and pin him there making sure he would not say anymore stupid things. He really hated having such a master.

Sora's eyes glared at the taller demon, not backing down. He let the jecket be ripped from his hand and continued to glare, looking ready to growl. He wouldn't just shut up. Fury took over the young summoner and yet he stood still, listening to Reiga. "Make me." he said, quiet growling following his words. No way was he going to listen to the demon. Though the words were fueled by anger, they were said very calmly and seemed challedging. He didn't answer to anything else Reiga said at that moment, instead standing very still.
"And what? What are you hiding!?" Sora yelled in frustration, calm facade tearing split down the middle and into a million different pieces. "What's so damn important!?" he said and was about to continue in his yelling until he saw Reiga move towards him quickly. In a blink hands were at his throat and Sora's mismatched eyes widened. After a moment they returned to glaring and he struggled weakly, already tired from that day. He tried to pull away from Reiga but couldn't, not as strong as the demon that held his throat.
Erebus moved away and was now standing behind Reiga, gleeful smile still in place. Yes, this was entertaining. "Why don't you just kill him now?" the demon whispered darkly into Reiga's ear, mayhem dancing within his irises. Maybe he could even steal the mutt's soul and earn more control over this demon's body.

Riage smiled at the thought of killing Sora. If he was in his right mind and not angry at the kid then he would have taken no heed to what Erebus was saying, but he was angry and was not thinking straight. Which made it easier to fall under the influence of the other demon. It would be so easy to kill him. Just tighten his grip and cut of his air circulation until he suffocated. It was so simple that he decided to do it. All other thoughts that were keeping him from killing the kid were gone. All he wanted was to be through with Sora and not have to deal with this child. He also did not like the glare that the kid was giving him. Did he not know what situation he was in. Reiga was the one in control right now not Sora.
He tightened his grip on Sora's neck and held it tight. He wanted his soul. He was going to kill the kid and take it. Maybe then the kid would learn the importance about giving demons orders, but by then it would be too late. The dead could not order the living around anyway. His smile widened wanting to see the kid plead for his life in the last moments of his life. It was something he wanted to see so badly ever since the kid had tricked him into the contract. After all the only two ways of getting rid of the contract was being freed or death of the summoner and by the looks of it killing him might be the fastest way right now.

Sora's eyes widened as the grip on his throat tightened. He suddenly couldn't breathe, the grip cutting off his air supply. His struggling continued, this time more urgent. His hands were now trying to pry the strong hands from him, though it was like trying to move a wall. There wasn't anything he could do. The summoner felt anger rise inside of him. Not at the demon in front of him, killing him. No, the anger was at himself. He was weak and helpless. He didn't have powers or anything special that could save him. He was so stupid for thinking that he could take care of himself.
Anger rose inside of himself again and suddenly his pupils lightened to a bright acid yellow. The pupils grew longer and in a moment appeared to be a cat's eyes. The hands clutching Reiga's wristssuddenly grew claws as well, which sunk into the demon's skin deeply. The catlike eyes widened as blood slowly began to ooze from the wounds even though he hadn't even dared moved. What was happening to him? His eyes now held fright instead of anger, though this wasn't directed at Reiga either.
What am I becoming?
His fright was directed at himself. Sora didn't know what was happening. Never before had something like this happened and it scared him. His strange eyes were still open wide, staring at what had happened. Sora didn't move at all even as darkness began to creep at the edges of his vision. His mouth was slightly open, whether from shock or from lack of oxygen, and small animal fangs were also in sight, though the summoner couldn't tell that he had grown fangs or ears at this point.
Erebus laughed as the lower demon (at least to him) began to choke the summoner. It was a crazy sounding laugh but he couldn't hold it back. He was so easy to kill it was pathetic. He wasn't looking as Sora seemed to change into something else, instead having his eyes closed from laughing loudly. Not that he would have stopped laughing. After all, there was still no way the mutt was going to survive.

Reiga continued to choke him even as he changed. He wanted him dead he would not be satisfied if this creature was allowed to live. However as the kid continued to change the normal sense of satisfaction he got while killing was not there. It was empty. And when he looked at Sora's face he knew why. This kid was not pleading at all. He was not even trying to save himself. He did not like killing this way. It was no fun to him. He released his grip and his throat and moved back. Why had he not plead. He had been moments from his death and nothing. It was then that he heard the laughter from Erebus. All this time he had been so focused on Sora and his anger that he had not even realized that Erebus had influenced him to do something. Something he had not wanted to do at all.
He turned to Erebus and clentched his fist. Some blood was still on his arms but from apart from that he was fine. "Don't you dare interfere in my contract. Got that. When and how I dispose of him is my choice, don't you ever try to use my anger to your advantage. Or next time I will make you regret it." He did not care if Sora was listening to what he was saying after ll the kid should still be recovering from what had just happened. He wanted nothing more then to beat the living daylight out of Erebus, but he knew he was nothing more then just a spirit haunting him. He was going to have to deal with it soon, but for now he had more pressing matters.
He turned around and looked at Sora. "Have I made myself clear. Don't you dare ask me that question again. Next time I will not be so lenient." He stood there not even moving to help the kid. After all he had gotten himself into this mess and he could get out of it himself. After all he was still angry at the kid and did not want to fall under Erebus' influence again.

Sora stumbled backwards when released, shaken from his thoughts. Everything returned to normal, his eyes returning last. The summoner didn't notice at first though, coughing and holding his throat gently. Dark bruises were already forming on the pale skin along with angry red marks. He hadn't heard what Reiga had said to the unseen demon's spirit, having been concenrating on stopping the wild coughs and breathing once again. Small tears formed in his eyes from the loss of breath but they were quickly blinked away. Why had his question gotten him so angry?
Sora refused to meet Reiga's eyes, instead looking at the ground. The only reason he had lived wasn't because of himself at all, just because the demon in front of him probably hadn't wanted him dead yet. The young mutt looked down at his hands, blood tinting his fingertips a scarlet red. He didn't wipe away the already dying blood or try to do anything else. The scarlet liquid was also under his fingernails and no doubt would it be hard to remove it all. Sora let out a shaky breath, his throat throbbing dully.
"Can you blame me for wondering? It's just..." Sora started to say, voice scratchy and very quiet. He let out another shaky breath before deciding to continue. "I just feel so stupid for not even knowing what I am. I don't even know what I just did...It's like I'm living in someone else's body." he finished, still keeping his head lowered and his eyes to the dry ground. After a moment he looked back up, eyes blank and dull compared to the yellow color they had been only moments ago.
"It doesn't matter anyway though." the summoner said, looking at the moon once again while shrugging half-heartedly. He still needed to get somewhere to rest. "You can go home. I'll walk to Obscur or another city."
Erebus just smirked at Reiga's words. "Sorry to disappoint but you can't do anything to harm me." the demon said, small giggles following after the words. He smiled as the mutt hacked and coughed and the smile only grew even wider as he caught sight of the large bruises on Sora's neck. "Seems you really damaged his pride~" Erebus giggled, large and gleeful smile still plastered onto the spirit's face.

Reiga looked at Sora and sighed. This kid needed a lot more tending to then he thought. Even the smallest thing made him lose his pride of who he was. It was a wonder that he survived up to this point at all. He could not leave him here. He could get eaten up by some dangerous creature the way he was acting right now. That and there was no way he was returning to his home with an extra demon within him. He would have to deal with the demon later. For now he had to make sure that his master, and he was using the term loosely right now, did not do something stupid again. However he needed to say something Erebus first.
"I may not be able to harm you, but our souls are linked, so any harm I do to mine I will do to yous as well. And trust me, I am more then willing to harm myself to harm you," He whispered to the demon. As he made his way to Sora. He patted him in the head. "Doesn't every living creature feel that way. No one knows what they really are until they find out." Even as he said those words Reiga wanted cut off his tongue. He could not believe them at all. It did not seem like it was something a demon should be saying. It really did feel like a disgusting thing to say. He made a note to himself to try and avoid saying kind things to cheer people up. "Now get up. There is no way I can leave my master in such a state. He might get killed by a monster and then I will have some great difficulty acquiring your soul."
He held his hand out towards Sora. Not to say he was still not angry, but this kid was a danger magnet and in such a dangerous place it would mean injury or death. "If you still want to see a summoner I will take you to one."

Sora tilted his head slightly as his head was patted, trying to get away from the offending hand. He looked up at Reiga through his golden bangs for a moment, tongue out ever so slightly. He wasn't going to show that it was bothering him as much as it was. But still, another question of his had popped up. Why had he started to turn into something else? There was only two other species he knew that could really change like that, without thinking. He shook the thoughts away, knowing that it wasn't possible. And besides, he had enough on his mind without thinking about the transformation.
Sora scoffed when Reiga said he could be attacked. Not that it wasn't true, of course. The summoner added 'find and buy weapon' onto his to-do list. Yeah, that was pretty important after all. He froze for a moment as Reiga said something about getting his soul. A moment later he shook it off, hoping the demon hadn't noticed the momentarily panic. He would find out what would happen to him when it came time to. Sora took the offered hand and pulled himself up, brushing the dirt from his clothes. "Really?" he asked, smile appearing on his face.
His mind, not for the first time that night, was pulled towards something else that was completely random. And it was about demons for some reason. It continued to bother the summoner for a few more moments until he looked back at Reiga from his clothes. "Hey Reiga, do demons' hearts beat?" he asked, totally distracted by it. After all, demons did have hearts...right? Well, something had to move their blood. So did that mean that demon hearts beated like most other creatures?
Erebus smirked simply, floating towards Sora once again. "But to get rid of me, you would have to be gone as well. And pain stopped hurting me long ago." he teased. The older demon present began to giggle as Reiga tried to cheer up Sora and pulled him up. "You don't act very much like an evil demon~ Could it be that all of your summoners have softened you?" Erebus's teasings continued as he laughed and put his head onto Sora's shoulder once again, standing behind the male.

Riega looked at Sora and shrugged. "Who knows." He did not think that many had hearts persay, but he was not the one to go looking around. Doing stuff like that could get him killed and he currently liked his life. Of course he knew about him own self. "At one point my heart had once beat, but that is not the case anymore. Not to say I will not bleed if it is pierced. I just do not need a thing like that." After all a heart was associated with love and kindness and that was something that he himself was not able to do. He could only mimic what he had seen others do. Not that he liked to do something like that. It was very disgusting to him. So he did not do it often. Only when it was necessary to fool others.
He continued to walk forward. "Don't forget. I am a creature that killed anyone above me and took their positions. If I was not contracted with you I would be planning my next attack. I am as heartless as they come." Though it looked like he was just continuing his talk these lines were actually directed towards Erebus and not Sora. He was going to take him to the closest summoner nearby. He shuddered at the thought of seeing that man, but he was just glad that he was not a free demon. He would most likely respect the contract and leave him be. At least that was what he was hoping would happen. After all that man was cruel and unpredictable. "You better not regret this. And what ever you do do not try to help those that live there. Trust me. It is better to turn a blind eye to them. Unless you want to face a large amount of demons."
